Casey Kelleher’s „I’ll Never Tell“ was the first psychological thriller in quite a while that truly creeped me out. I really don’t know how I’ve never heard of this author before.
This book had me hooked pretty much from page one and virtually on the edge of my seat the entire time.
I like that we follow two alternating timelines rather than finding out about the past in flashbacks. Both are mysterious and gripping and flow together perfectly.
I know that I’ve come across a great thriller when the author keeps me on my toes and I inevitably start playing armchair detective. This also holds true for this book. I had about five different theories as to what exactly happened back in the day and who was behind the attacks in the present, but failed miserably at figuring it out on my own. For a while there, I was a little bit worried about where the story was going, to be honest. It seemed to me like a very specific kind of disorder was going to play a major part in it – and, as far as I can tell, it wouldn’t have been portrayed very well/accurately. Thankfully, it was just a misdirect, which I appreciate. I just love unexpected twists.

I really liked this book. Granted, parts of it were slightly predictable, but I didn't expect the twist at the end. Warning, however, this book contains several triggers, including mental illness, physical and sexual abuse, neglect of a child, murder and self harm, to name a few. It's definitely not a book for everyone, but it was really well written. The characters were believable and relatable, and I felt a connection with Alicia.

This book introduces us to Alicia, otherwise known as Emma Jane. When Emma Jane was a young child, her and her best friend Sarah committed an unspeakable crime, but only Emma Jane is punished. Sarah got away with murder. Years later, Emma Jane is living happily under a new name with her husband and small son until one day when a note appears that says "I found you".

This was a really good thriller/mystery. It kept me guessing and although I guessed a few things, it was still unpredictable enough to make for a fun read. Highly recommended. The narrator was great as well.

I was through this is a few days I thought I had then answer then there was more twists and turns and I had to rethink my " Who Dun nit"
I would definitely read/listen to the authors other books
When they were young .Alessia & Sarah were friends then something terrible happened but it was only Alessia that paid the price.
Kept me guessing up to the bitter end.
Absolutely loved this book.

I really enjoyed this audiobook from start to finish. it’s a quick and fast-paced read with a couple good twists, especially at the end. I really wasn't sure what to believe up until the very end, which is my favorite element of a good thriller. There were a couple of great twists in this book that I didn’t see coming. I did have an inkling of one of them but wasn’t sure right up until it was revealed to us. When it all came together, I thought that it was done well and seemed believable. All of the loose ends were tied up nicely and left me feeling satisfied. I really connected with the main character but found some of the other characters to be a bit unmemorable. I loved this new book by Casey Kelleher I'll Never Tell was a brilliant audio book I was hooked from the beginning. The Narrator - Daphne Kouma was perfect for this book especially as it wasn't too long. It was only 8 hrs and 26 mins which was perfect.

This is a brilliant psychological thriller which took you back and forth over 20 years of two young girls, Sarah and Emma-Jayne who played in a dilapidated cottage they called the Doll House when they were children. This book is full of twists and turns throughout that will have you gripped from the beginning.

I highly recommend this book and especially the audiobook. 5 Stars from me.

Loved the idea of this one but the execution was lacking. Unfortunately the authors writing style was just not for me. There was a lot of tell versus showing and I just wasn't a fan. There was also a few parts that were very slow. I did enjoy the mystery aspect and I thought the plot was well done. I listened to the audio version and I did think the narrator did a good job.

So a hidden secret comes back to haunt alicia, after what appear to be isolated incidents in her current life. Alicia who begins to doubt her sanity is taken back to her childhood and relives the past. But who is causing such terror and why? The book drew me in and the plot was easy to follow with a few twists and turns to keep things interesting until the end. Thank you #NetGalley for the audiobook to review.

This was the first book I have read by Casey Kelleher. I loved it and will defiantly be reading more written by Casey.

This was a really easy book to listen to. It's engaging, exciting and interesting. listening to this book really helped me get the things i needed to done.
A huge fan of this author, this book felt very different to anything else i've read of hers. Pleanty of excitement and twists throughout and the narator did a great job of bring the book and it's characters alive.
Set in past and present sometimes can be difficult to follow, but not in this case. it adds to the excitement, unfolding the story bit by bit.

I’m not sure why but this book just didn’t do it for me. I rarely find a book that I can’t relate to in some manner, but I could not “relate” to this one. I struggled to finish it. I found my mind wondering. I found myself making excuses not to listen. I finally made myself finish it. My apologies to the author for I know you spent hours writing this book. I know this book is your baby.

I thought I had predicted two of the big twists in this book which made me both proud of myself and disappointed. I didn’t see the very end coming, and that made this a 4 star for me versus a 3! I thought the narration was wonderful and kept me hooked and excited!

Interesting but not really my cup of tea. Well written I just personally couldn’t get into the story. Also could not deal with the audio book voices. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I did not see many of the twists coming. The characters, too wonderful husband, Carl, and good policewoman friend, Harriet, were supportive of Alessia, yet they too had doubts about her sanity and memories. I picked up those doubts, wondering what was real.

I’ll Never Tell is a creepy psychological thriller, but not so far out, that I didn’t enjoy it or felt it was disgusting. I listened to the audio and easily finished in two days. I appreciated how the author distinguished different time frames clearly, with ‘then’ and ‘now.’ Sometimes time frame gets murky with audiobooks. The voice was clear and the pacing good.

Then a brick comes through her window with a note "found you' and someone starts stalking her. Alessia thinks it is her old friend Sarah. A brilliantly written tense and gripping psychological thriller.

I listened to this on audiobook.

We’ll wow, what a story this has been, very intense and gripping right from the get go and continues right to the very end. If I was sitting down I’d have been sitting on the edge of my seat a fair bit in anticipation as to what the hell will happen next, as it was I was mostly on the move, walking when listening to this story.

The story was brilliantly written and very well thought out, not to mention cleverly done, I loved ever second of it. I admit I did guess one of the twists so sort of saw that one coming when it was discovered, but there was still a twist or two that I didn’t guess. The characters were all great, very well developed and portrayed well and enjoyed getting to know each of them, especially that of Alyssa, she certainly didn’t have an easy time of it at all.

A special mention must be made of the narrator, as I think that she did an absolutely outstanding job of telling the story, she really gave each character a unique voice of their own and made it all that much more enjoyable.

This was a gripping thriller of a mystery that kept me so invested in the characters and the outcome of their lives.
The heroine makes you want to just wrap her up in a hug and tell her she will be alright.
The story flowed so easily and the twists were perfectly timed and executed. The ending was especially satisfying. This author is definitely one to watch for me now.

A psychological thriller that will keep you listening. Alessia is both living and loving her life. Somehow she has managed to hide her past from everyone in her life. Then on one otherwise normal day her peaceful existence comes to a screeching halt. The story toggles from back then to current times to learn what happened and who was involved and all of the gory details. The author weaves a really creepy disturbing tale. The narration added to the book. This was the first book I've read by this author. It surely will not be my last.

I’m always a fan of I’m not the person I used to be. This one played well into it. I really liked Alesia even though I was never really sure how much I trusted her, but I never trust anyone in a psychological thriller. LOL I spent the entire book knowing exactly where we were going until a secret was exposed and I adjusted my exactly where we were going. Great twists and turns. And Daphne Kouma was a fantastic narrator. She portrayed Alesia so well. I recommend this to all domestic thriller audiobook lovers. You won’t be disappointed.
