Huge fan of Casey Kelleher, read all her books since Rotten to the core and would highly recommend all her books.
I’ll Never Tell is a different novel from Casey’s other books with it being a stunning and cleverly written psychological thriller rather then a crime novel but make no mistake this is still an amazing read.
The book is written in a now and then split story following Emma-Jayne/Alessia and how the past can always come back to haunt you one way or another….
I guessed the main antagonist but this did not take away from the enjoyment of this book… however I did not see the final twist which finished off the book brilliantly.

i absolutely loved this book, i loved the change in timelines and the narration was 5 star. felt like i was completely immersed in the story and listened to this in record time as was desperate to know what would happen,. i was completely gripped.

I loved this book! If you are someone who likes a twisty psychological thriller, I highly recommend this book! This audiobook sucked me in from the very beginning, and I could not stop listening until I was done. There was a twist that gave my chills, which means an automatic five star review from me! I loved how it hopped back and forth between the past and present of the main characters. There is not much more I can say without giving details away!

This story is comprised of present and past flashbacks. We learn fairly quickly about the ilves of Sarah and Emma-Jayne and the horrible events that transpired.

I didn't love the voice, but I did enjoy the ride. If you are interested in a past/present flashback for a twisty domestic thriller - this audiobook is for you #IllNeverTell #NetGalley

📚 Oh what a gripping read this is!!
I really enjoyed the fact that it’s written over two timelines and you kept delving into the past as you tried to work out what on Earth really had happened.
This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed how she managed to turn the story in different directions before leading you to the actual outcome….. which was great by the way, especially the very last bit when everything is revealed!
I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.
I have to mention the narrator on the audiobook as she really did a great job in retelling this stiry and really brought the tension and suspense of the story to life.

Alessia is a wife and the mother of a young boy. She is living a quiet life until one night a brick is thrown through her window with a sinister note attached that says FOUND YOU. It’s clear to Alessia that someone knows about a terrible crime she and her friend Sarah committed when they were girls. Alessia is convinced that Sarah is tormenting her, but things may not be what they seem. When the culprit turns their focus onto Alessia’s little boy, she is prepared to do whatever it takes to protect her son.

This book was a fun little surprise! I wasn’t prepared for it to be as complex and twisty as it was. The story is told through multiple POVs in both present and past tense. There was a lot of suspense and while I was able to see a few of the major turns coming, the ending was unexpected and satisfying. I can’t handle books with child abuse, but thankfully it never got graphic and I was able to get through it. I have never read anything by the author before this, but I will definitely be checking out her other books after this!

A dark look at child abuse and the misconceptions of the law. Young mother has changed her entire life because of the child abuse that she has experienced. After being abandoned by her mother, and given to foster care she changed her name to out live her past. The book also looks into misconceptions of mental health. The mystery of the story is drawn on this misconception, and misrepresentation of children and their treatment by the law.
The audible version draws out the reader into the story showing the nature of mental health problems and how they are misconceived.

Oh my goodness, this was a gooood book. I was gripped. I do a love a book where you aren’t sure who is crazy and who is telling the truth. Elessia (?) is definitely an unreliable narrator. Nobody even knows that that’s not even her real name but the reader. However you’ll have to read on to find out the true extent of her unreliability.
I don’t want to give anything away but if you love a good psychological thriller you must read this one.

Alicia (formerly Emma Jane) experienced a childhood trauma that has haunted her into adulthood involving a friend Sara. Is Sara real? Was she a figment of Alicia's imagination? This is a heavy book but twisted that touches upon association disorder. It was ok. Decent twist. Good narrator.

She’s changed her name, tried to put her nightmarish past behind her. She’s hidden the abuse and the murder. Her husband and child no nothing about that part of her life, but someone from her past has resurfaced and they are threatening to not only expose her lies, but also her life and that of her child. This is a brutal portrayal of abuse and the long lasting psychological trauma it leaves in its wake

Sarah and Imogen were very young when something terrible happened and one of them ended up being hospitalized and got charged for murder! It’s been 20 years and even with identity change someone has found her and she has started to receive threats.
Just when she and her husband decide to move on and consider ignoring, she gets dead wreath, a dead rat lying in a box which seems to have been hand delivered
Strange things continue to happen and then slowly truth gets revealed about the past.
This was an interesting, engaging read – started to confuse me a bit until everything falls in place after a few chapters in – this book is told in “Then” & “Now” style.

**** stars for such an intriguing book by Casey Kelleher - thanks to Bookouture Audio & Netgalley for the audio ARC - I devoured it, this was my first book by this author.

I love Casey's psychological thriller writing, it's not an easy leap into the genre from gangland but she does it seamlessly. All the elements are there, an intriguing story, a character that you grow to care for. I thought I might have had it figured out but the twists kept coming, right until the very last page. I rooted for Alessia and her childhood story broke me, all the way through I couldn't work out if she was still living her past or if she'd moved on. I sure Casey will have another big hit with this page turner. Thanks for the advance copy.

When we were young, Sarah and I spent all our time in a place we called the Doll House. It was just an old, abandoned cottage in the woods behind our house but it was heaven to us. Until one of our games went wrong. And someone ended up dead.

I was caught completely off guard by this book. The suspense will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat. Spread across two different timelines of now and then, with doubt about your ability to trust the narrator you will want to give this book a read.

There is so much I could say about this dark and twisty book but I really don't want to give away any spoilers. I was hooked from the beginning but when the story started to develop even further I was unable to walk away.

Despite the book having a good start, it becomes pretty repetitive and slow for the most part.
Maybe this book was not for me, since I seem to be in a minority with my opinion.

OK so this is actually my second time this month reading this book. First was on the kindle and now the audio version and I have to admit that I loved it even more the second time around.

Hearing the narrator re-tell it just gave it so much more emotion than my own mind was not able to do. I COULD NOT STOP LISTENING!! even though I knew what was going to happen I still found myself feeling the tension and suspense.

This is my first time experiencing this author but I certainly not my last as I've gone on a buying frenzy from audible as I need more of this talented writer in my life.

As soon as I hear Casey Kelleher has a new book out I don’t even need to read the blurb I just need to read the book. I’ll never tell is an excellent psychological thriller that had me on the edge of my seat right from the very beginning. Once I started reading this book I had to keep going as I couldn’t wait to figure out what was going on. There are lots of twists and turns throughout the story . I did figure out the outcome about 3/4 way through but that certainly didn’t take away from my enjoyment of this impossible to put down book. I cannot wait to read more psychological thrillers from this author.

If I could have given this more than 5 stars I would have - it was fantastic. I really did not know what was happening until right at the end, when I guessed the culprit and the why, but during 90% of the book it was so vague.

I kept making excuses to go and listen to the book.

I cannot recommend this book highly enough and the narration really suited it.

A new author to me with this psychological thriller.
I had the 🎧audiobook version narrated by Daphne Kumar who injects good emotion and adds a lot of interest. I think the audio version kept my interest more than the book would have done.

2 girls making one mistake, only one paying the price.
Then 20 years later with a new identity Alessia is getting in with her new life until she gets a malicious note saying ‘FOUND YOU’

It is easy listening and entertaining.
It kept my interest well, a little slow in places, and perhaps could have been condensed a little.
Some good twists.
Aleesia is a likeable character, I engaged with her well and was rooting for her.

I've read or listened and loved every book this author has written, she never let's me down.
As her usual books are more gangland/family crime stories, I was pleasantly surprised at how twisty and drama filled she could make a psychological thriller.

Really well done and also well narrated. Keep them coming CK!
