This was such a cute holiday romance! And while it definitely encompassed the spirit of the holidays, it didn't read like a cookie-cutter Christmas romance. I enjoyed the banter between Cozette and Nico, I loved watching Cozette grow and realize her mistakes in the past and how she had no intention of repeating them.

I'm not typically a fan of the insta-love trope. Where a couple meets and then within the span of a single week knows they've found something truly special and are willing to make drastic life choices to secure a relationship. But honestly, it worked here.

This was a quick, sweet and spicy, holiday read. I recommend this to anyone looking to escape the cold of winter and infuse a little warmth into their lives. The tropical setting didn't deter from the holidays in the least and truthfully as someone living through an 80 degree December at the moment it was refreshing to read a Christmas story that wasn't doused in snow.

I am a holiday romance story lover! This one was a fantastic combination of everything that makes a book one in a new series that you cannot put down once you pick it up to read.
The chemistry jumped off the page and grabbed me as I was reading.
The location was perfect and so fun! I am so looking forward to the next book in this series. Simona Island series is one that should be on everyone’s’ list of books to read.

“Cozi, whatever this is between us needs more time. When you left, all the color drained out of Simona Island, and it left me stumbling through a gray world.”

After trying to spice up her relationship and failing, Cozette breaks up with her boyfriend of 2 years who has zero interest in her, and entrusts her travel agent friend to book her a tropical vacation. She quickly packs up her belongings and escapes to Simona Island to spend the holiday season. When she arrives at the island, she meets Nico, one of the hotel worker.

They instantly become friends especially with their witty and teasing banters. Nico is very secretive and closed off, but decides to make Cozette’s vacation a memorable and adventurous experience by becoming her own personal tour guide of the island. Cozi finds out that Nico is actually the owner of the hotel, as well as a billionaire, but kept it to herself so she wouldn’t ruin things between them.

As much as they flirt with each other, Nico puts a stop to it especially with a “no fraternization policy” between a staff and guest. However, the more time that the spend together, the more that the chemistry gets stronger. Will Nico be able to let his guard down to Cozi? Will Cozi be able to walk away from their vacation fling?

Fun and quick read, perfect for the holiday season. Can't wait for the rest of the series. Hallmark movie with just a little bit of extra spice

This book starts out with a bang and a very likable female lead! HOLIDAY HOTEL begins as Cozette is dressed in a skimpy santa-themed teddy fir her boyfriend and when he doesn't react as she had hoped she storms out and jumps on a plane to paradise...in the teddy. 🤣 I loved it!

Cozette is a fun and funny lead female. I loved how her character knows her flaws and is working in changing them. She is smart and hard working and passionate! And, good Lord, Nico is sexy as hell. Smart and confident and dreamy.

HOLIDAY HOTEL had a fantastic second half, but I struggled to connect with the romance in the first half. I can't even pinpoint exactly why it wasn't great for me, so maybe I'm losing my mind...? I didn't feel much chemistry or something. But the second half SIZZLES.

There is also a wild over-reaction that feels very out of character as the main conflict. I wish something more seriously offensive had happened between these two, rather than an emotional-baggage-fueled miscommunication.

HOLIDAY HOTEL has a lot of great parts and some great steam. If you like a holiday romance in the tropics and don't mind a slightly mild conflict then you'll probably LOVE this book!

Thank you City Owl Press for providing me an ARC in return for an honest review.

First off, I will say that this is a super easy to read holiday romance novel. It was a quick read for me - maybe about 4 hours total.
Pros:

The holiday jokes were cute and really festive, even though it dealt with a woman breaking up with her long term boyfriend right before the holiday. The characters were all likable and it was easy to see why she would fall for Nico.

I seriously loved Cozette's relationship with her parents. It's great to read about a good relationship like that.

Cons:

I really hated the whole lip biting thing with Nico. Once or twice was cute - but it kept popping up and it was just hard for me to imagine. It became annoying to me towards the end.

Seemed like the end was pretty quick to wrap up - But if you're in the mood for a quick holiday romance then this book absolutely hits all the marks.

4 stars overall due to the cons above and the really quick wrap up. I am looking forward to the next two books.

This was such a great read! When I first read the synopsis I thought this might be super fun or it might not be for me...Only this story was so much fun right from the very beginning! I adored Cozette and how much of a goofball she could be at times. She loves celebrating holidays, but this Christmas isn't shaping up to be that great. She is not going to be able to do all of her traditions since she just broke up with her boyfriend and escaped to a tropical island to regroup. Oh, she was so fun! I loved all of her holiday-inspired curses and how she made everything magical. She is one of those people that everyone loves because she is a sweetheart and just wonderful.

Nico was also great, even if he has some issues to work on. These two were so perfect for each other right from the moment they met. Once I started reading this was one I couldn't put down. So sweet, so fun, such a wonderful read. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for a copy of this book

This book is pure fun. The main character, Cozi, is vibrant and witty and charming from the jump. It's impossible not to fall in love with her, with the love interest, Nico, with the island itself, with Christmas curses in general.

I highly recommend this book as kick off for the holiday season.

I absolutely loved this book. I'm a sucker for holiday romances and this one has topped all I've read this year. Nico and Cozettes relationship is amazing. She meets Nico during a hard time. she just left her boyfriend of two years… it's Christmas and she is alone. She decides to take a blind trip to an island getaway where she meets Nico. Not only does he bring out the person Cozette use to be but he always gives her an amazing Christmas.I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

I loved reading Colette & Nicos story. It was fun interesting and sexy. Perfect for an escapist Read.

Sometimes, it takes a corset and an island getaway to bounce back from a disastrous breakup.

In the winter chill of New York City, Cozette Fay attempts to turn up the heat with a fun and sexy Ms. Claus roleplay. Unfortunately, her aloof boyfriend is more confused than aroused.

She says fa-la-la to her fizzled relationship and escapes to the tropics for Christmas where she meets Nico, a van-driving beach-hunk who secretly owns the hotel on private Simona Island. He upgrades her room, takes her on adventures, and can't seem to keep his eyes or his hands off of her despite claiming there's a non-fraternization policy.

It shouldn't matter that Nico won't share anything about himself outside of their tropical snow globe—she's there to reunite with herself, after all—but the closer they get, the more it seems he may be the Santa to her Mrs. Clause all year round.
