Completely on the edge of my seat for the entire read. The characters were brilliant and it was an absolute thrill to read.

After being on the run for what seemed forever, Jenna has finally found a place and a man she wants to settle down with. However a pesky local journalist starts asking questions about Jenna's past she thought was so buried no one should find. This made it easy for dangerous people to find her and find her they did.

This book did not disappoint. Mysterious, intense, thrilling, actioned packed from start to finish, well developed characters and extremely well written. I was hooked from the start and ended up reading the whole book in one sitting. Great book, would definitely recommend.

This book is from one of my favourite authors so I was eagerly anticipating this one. This is the second book in a series but can be read as a standalone. This is Jenna’s story and is a great follow up to the first book. Jenna is a strong character and her independence and fortitude are remarkable. Her son Josh is as amazing in this book as he was in the first. This book is fast paced and the suspense was sustained throughout. There is a dual timeline which I always like. It was interesting to fill in some of the details that were left unsaid in the first book. This book is as good as the previous one and I am really looking forward to the next one which will be Lucas’s story. I definitely recommend you check this one out as well as the first book!!

Another edge-of-your-seat adventure ride from Kerry Lonsdale, No More Lies focuses on Jenna’s story. The second book in the No More series, the reader gets a closer look into what happened the night Jenna ran away as well as what happened in the years leading up to her reunion with her family.

Jenna/Lily may not broadcast her secrets, but she makes it clear that she has them. Those few people in her inner circle support her despite this knowledge, even when Jenna herself doesn’t find herself deserving of such understanding.

Just as in No More Words, this book doesn’t disappoint. With well-developed characters and a host of villains, the story drew me in as if I were experiencing the twists and turns alongside them.

If you’re looking for a fast-paced story that has you saying to yourself, “just one more chapter,” then I highly recommend No More Lies. I simply cannot wait for book 3!

Special thanks to NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for a free ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own.

On the surface Jenna seems to have it all. A lovely son, a very good career and her own house. She has
even found love again with a very nice man and a marriage is on the cards.

No one knows other than Josh, who has an inkling, that Jenna has secrets. Secrets that have made her run
change residences several times. The reason - she has killed a young man and someone out there has her
secret on a video tape. Now he has found her again and the threats are not just money - there is someone
out there who also wants to harm her son and the two are not by one and the same person. Jenna is not someone
who has told her secrets to anyone so it becomes harder and harder to conceal them from her only good friend
and from her fiancee who is hurt and puzzled by her inability to trust him.

The story goes on from there and is quite tense and very emotional as well when Josh goes missing.

The book is part two of a triology but it was very good as a stand alone.

This is the second novel in the Carson sibling trilogy. This novel follows youngest sibling Lily. It covers Lily and her son, Josh's story leading up to the first novel, what happens in the first novel from Lily's perspective and flashbacks to what lead Lily to runaway at 16.

I liked getting to know Lily instead of just seeing her from Olivia's perspective. She is also flawed and shares her family's habit of secret keeping. Which is not my favorite trope but does give the story a lot of conflict. Lily's relationship with Josh is important to the story and well developed. The love interest was again not the main focus of the story but there.

This novel was a fast paced story that still keeps your interest despite already knowing some of the larger plot points from the first novel. You can read this on it's own without feeling lost without reading the first book.

trigger warnings: child emotional abuse/neglect, stalking, violence

No More Lies, by Kerry Lonsdale, is a fast paced romantic suspense with family anchoring the storyline. I really liked the main character and most of the supporting characters. I thought that they were written well and well fleshed out. The romance was sweet but balanced and not overdone.
Jenna Mason is a famous animator. She's living the good life, living near the beach with her teenage son. Thanks to a lot of help from good friends, Jenna is hiding in plain sight. When she was younger she was Lily Carson but she was forced to go into hiding when she became pregnant at 16.
Now she's done with running so her son can have the consistency he deserves. He has friends that he wants to keep and wants to stay in his school. At first Jenna tells herself that they’re safe but then a reporter starts digging up her past Now the father that she's been hiding from threatening to expose her.
Just as she's ready to take her son and run, again, he disappears. Now she must go looking for his father and pray that he will help.

Jenna Mason’s life seems perfect: a successful career as an animator, a town house near the beach, and an adoring son, Josh, whose artistic talent looks as promising as his mother’s. But there’s something nobody realizes about Jenna. She used to be Lily Carson, a young mother on the run from a secret no one must ever know.
After years of constantly relocating, Jenna concedes to her son’s request to settle down. He wants to make friends. He wants some stability. He wants to feel normal. She convinces herself they’re safe. Until a reporter discovers who Jenna really is, bringing her estranged father to her doorstep. When he threatens to expose her carefully fabricated life for the lie that it is, Jenna has no choice but to run again.
But just as she’s about to go off the grid, Josh disappears, forcing Jenna to seek out the one person she never thought she’d see again: Josh’s father.

This is a wonderful addition to this gripping series!
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down.
Can't wait to read more of these.
Recommend reading.

I was provided an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher. This is my own honest voluntary

No More Lies is the second book in the No More trilogy about the Carson family: Olivia, Lily and Lucas. Book 1, No More Words, is Olivia's story and Book 2, No More Lies, is Lily aka Jenna's story. Book 3, No More Secrets, is Lucas’s Story (coming March 2023)

I loved the intensity of this family drama that was filled with suspense! There was more thriller action in this book that kept me on my toes!!

Jenna(Lily) hides and moves frequently since she ran away from her parents house at age 16, pregnant & afraid for her life and those she cares about. She killed her best friend and Dwight who she now knew was not her real Dad was threatening to kill Tyler the father of her child she must go into hiding to protect him. Josh, is almost 13 and has started to ask questions about about their past and his mother’s lies. When Jenna finds that they are in danger again, she is ready to move somewhere else. But Josh finally feels like they are in a safe place, he's made friends and doesn't want to move. Her agreement to stay where they are creates even more danger for Jenna and Josh and when Josh disappears, she is afraid that her worst nightmares have come true. Just when Jenna thought her life was getting a glimpse of happiness, find out how her past life and lies catch up to her in this amazing follow up book to No More Words! A must read!

It’s time for Lily’s story about what went down that dreaded night she ran away. She's on the run, but secrets can only stay buried for so long. Her lies are catching up to her.
And oh boy, what a ride! I was blown away by Book 1, #NoMoreWords, Olivia’s story. Then Lonsdale brings Lily’s story about and just wow! SO intense! Read this and don’t hesitate to start with Book 1!

No more words set the bar quite high for me in this trilogy.

No more lies lived up to every single expectation.

I loved the suspenseful moments and how so many secrets and truths are discovered in the end.

The characters are so well fleshed out that I felt like being next to them and even interacting with some of these fictional people. I think it's just a gift of the author to make you feel so intrigued and invested in a story that you forget about reality and immerse yourself in a great fictional world.

There are some quite unexpected twists that I haven't seen coming my way.

And the final chapter? That left me reeling from all the race pounding suspense. I can't wait to see where the author will take this story in the next and final instalment.

Suspenseful and intriguing from start to finish, No more lies is a must read story.

This series is Soo good it’s crazy! I can’t wait for the next one to come out!! It’s a must read! It will hook you from book 1 and get ready for a whirlwind of a story!

I loved the first book in this series, No More Words—the excitement and the suspense—and couldn't wait for book two, No More Lies. Well, it's here! And it's just as good as the first one.

No More Lies is full of even more excitement and suspense. Jenna and Josh are always on the move, staying just ahead of danger, until Josh convinces his mom to stay put and let him have a normal life. But nothing about their situation is normal and when the past catches up with them, Jenna wants to flee again.

When secrets and lies are revealed, life as Jenna knows it goes spirally out of control. And can I just go on the record here for noting that Jenna comes from a very messed up family? Wow, parents like hers shouldn't even be allowed to be parents.

After reading these two books, I'm totally invested in these characters and I found myself wrapped up in the drama and danger that they were going through. I couldn't put this page-turner down until I got to the exciting ending, and then I was left wanting more! Luckily the final book in this amazing trilogy will be out in March 2023. I can't wait to hear Lucas' story.

This fabulous 2nd book in the No More Series is just as great as the first, No More Words.
You definitely want to read them in order so you have the backstory of the characters and know what is completely going on with the story. .
You will instantly be enthralled in Lily's story from the first page.
Kerry Lonsdale is a phenomenal author who continues to pull me right into the novels that she has written.
Anxiously awaiting the third book in this series.

I received a copy of this from the author in exchange for fair and honest review.

Lonsdale continues to impress her suspense game with the next No More book!

Jenna Mason has a past that she would rather forget, but it always seems to follow her where she goes. She and her young son Josh have constantly moved from place to place to stay one step ahead of anyone who might be after her or him. For years they barely got by on the charity of strangers, but when she starts making a little money from some of her drawings and cartoons she has developed, she begins to get tired of running and she and Josh decide to settle down in one place for a little longer. Jenna even manages to fall in love with someone and Josh is thriving at this new school. Then one day her past remerges when a reporter shows up asking questions and dredging up a murder that happened when she was sixteen. Is it time to run again?

If you enjoyed No More Words, then you will love this book even more. I was initially expecting a continuation, but this is a retelling of the same time period from Jenna and Josh’s perspective. So, readers now the elements of what happened to Lily, but now get to read about it firsthand and understand how the characters became who they are today. Needless to say, Lonsdale placed plenty of intrigue throughout the pages to keep her readers hooked through the full story. There are references to events in the first book that readers may need to go back and enjoy again to get the full effect. Either one can be read as a standalone, but the true masterpiece is reading them together. And it doesn’t matter in which order. And there are three sides to every story, so be sure to grab Lucas’s version next year!

Lonsdale continues to shine a light on the condition of aphasia that can occur after a brain bleed. She manages to bring much more than just a fictional tale in each one of her books and this is no different. There is a bit of foul language throughout (to be expected with the characters) as well as a couple of sex scenes, but nothing overly graphic in this one. I would still recommend this book for mature readers.

I received a complimentary copy of this title from the publisher. The views and opinions expressed within are my own.

No More Lies (Book 2 of Kerry Lonsdale’s No More Series) continues the Carson family story we were introduced to in Book 1 ( No More Words). Bringing enough twists and turns to keep you turning pages late into the night, alternating past and present storylines peal back layers of information with each transition.

Ms. Lonsdale continues to write books that take the reader on an eventful journey. Check out all of her books.

Thank you NetGalley, Kerry Lonsdale and Lake Union Publishing for the ARC.

No More Lies is the second book in the No More series. This books tells Lily Carson's story; now known as the famous children's author Jenna Mason. In this book we get to see how things unfolded for Lily/Jenna and her 13 year old son Josh when Jenna's past comes to light because of a nosy journalist digging deep into the past Jenna's worked so hard to hide from. All the lies Jenna has told to protect her and her son come crashing towards then and ghosts from the past comes forward. I loved this book and anxiously await the third book in the series.

Kerry did not disappoint with the second installment in this trilogy! Every book Kerry writes hooks me right from the start. As each secret came out I just needed to know more! I can’t wait for the 3rd installment, Lucas’ story!! I recommend all of Kerry’s books to my friends and family!

Kerry Lonsdale has hit another home run! I loved this second installment in the No More trilogy just as much as the first, if not more!

After reading No More Words last year, I was eager to get my hands on Lily Carson’s story, aka Jenna Mason.

Lonsdale has a way of creating characters that leap off the page and work their way into your heart. You’re rooting for them from page one and the suspense in this story kept me turning the pages late into the night.

Do yourself a favor and add No More Lies (and No More Words) to your TBR list and grab yourself a copy of both! Then you can join me as I not so patiently wait for No More Secrets, the final book in the trilogy and Lucas Carson’s story.
