Thank you to @netgalley for the eArc of this book. This is the first book that I have read by this author and it will not be the last. I completely devoured this book. It is part of the no more series, which I was unaware of. I will definitely go back and read the series!

This is the second book of the Carson siblings trilogy and much like Olivia’s story, Lily(Jenna)’s story did not disappoint. I generally gravitate towards romance, but all of Kerry’s books suck me in where I devour page after page and wonder where my time went because I get so engrossed in her stories. While we were told each of the first stories would be cliffhangers I feel they could be read separately. I had no issues picking up Lily’s story line after reading Olivia’s almost a year ago. And I’m ready to read Lucas to find out how this trilogy comes full circle in the end.

This is the second book in the series and just as gripping as the first. I enjoyed the alternating between the past and present bringing the story together nicely. We are reunited with some of the unsavoury characters from the first book as well as new friends that were fiercely loyal to Jenna and would do anything to keep her and Josh safe.

No More Lies is book 2 in this series.
We met the Carson family in book 1 and here we have story revolving around Lily’s point of view.

Engaging, entertaining,
...
A story of family, unanswered questions and others answered, uncertainty and forgiveness.
Can’t wait to see where book 3 takes me.

The story of Jenna Mason continues in the second book of the trilogy, and although it can be read as a standalone, my recommendation is to read the books in order. Jenna is a talented graphic novelist who has been running away from her past for over a decade, hiding from the truth and keeping the truth hidden from her teen son Josh. Josh wants to know why they constantly moved and who his father is, but Jenna doesn’t want to share a painful past with him. In hiding her past, she unwittingly endangers Josh and herself as she gets involved in a dangerous cat and mouse game with a predator determined to destroy her. In this book, Jenna has to face her past with courage and to depend on people other than herself for help, especially when Josh is targeted and disappears. The suspense increased tremendously once Jenna is injured and Josh gets away from her. I really enjoyed the way that Jenna has matured as a character, realizing that she cannot do everything alone and that she can’t hide from the truth forever. She even asks for help from Josh’s father Tyler, an unexpected source of strength and resources. I enjoyed the relationship that is developing in this book between Jenna and her friend Keely and between Jenna and her boyfriend Kavan. Kavan is a saint in my book because of his unwavering loyalty to Jenna and his patience with her as she has to find herself before she has anything to offer others. Jenna’s desperation to hide the truth is a central theme in the book, and I found myself giving her advice just to face the past and get things out in the open so she can live her life and so can Josh. I was totally engaged in the story, feeling so bad when Josh had difficulty communicating after an injury. His aphasia was heart-breaking and the frustrations that he faced because of his disability were well-portrayed by the author. The characters were realistic, with real struggles and decisions to make that were life-changing for all. The plot was layered with the revelations made by each character, especially Jenna and her past identity, Lily. I particularly enjoyed the interactions between Jenna and her sister Olivia, a relationship that had been broken but never totally severed or forgotten. The depth of this book and its characters will remain with me for a long time. It is a domestic drama with a lot of suspense and plenty of love and acceptance flowing between the characters as they discover truth for the first time.

What a suspenseful read! This is book 2 in a great series! Jenna Mason is a single mom to a 12 year old son named Josh. With a very abusive upbringing by her parents, she ran away at a young age and has moved several times over the years to protect her son. When her past starts to catch up with her, everything starts to unravel. Can Jenna stop this turmoil before she loses everything she tried so hard to protect?
This is a page turner you will not be able to put down! I was grateful for an advanced copy to read and review!

I honestly didn’t even realize this was the second book in a series. I am running to buy the first one so I can read more by Kerry Lonsdale. The writing is stellar and it’s easy to get lost in this story. Your heart gets pumping real fast and you ask yourself, how far is a mother willing to go to protect her child? This story is full of heartache, twists and turns, and unpredictable outcomes. Very fast paced and I immediately went to order the first to read more about this family of siblings.

Family dysfunction leads the way for another amazing story that showcases the resilience and determination it takes to break away from the past and move forward. How far would you go to protect yourself and your child? What lies would you tell? What happens when the past comes calling and threatens the present? Lily’s story will leave you breathless!! A definite MUST READ!

This book was fantastic, it lives up to the first book and makes you want to read the last in the series so bad! I thought "No more Words" was great but this one, wow! Jenna is such a strong woman and just surviving that family she grew up with, wow. I love Josh, and I think if anyone of us was in his shoes we would have acted the same, he just wanted to know what was going on in him mom's life and why they had to run all the time. I think this book will appeal to so many readers, it has suspense, love, family, and a woman who will do anything to protect what is hers. Looking forward to reading Lucas's story in the final book "No more Secrets" but then again I don't want the series to end. Thank you Kerry Lonsdale for feeding my love of reading!

I love when books make my heads spin with twists, turns, & lies. This book was very well written with the alternating timelines and how Jenna’s story unraveled. I really felt for Jenna and Josh as the story moved on and the tension built up between the characters.

I really enjoyed this one and will definitely be picking up more from Kerry Lonsdale! A huge thank you to Netgalley, the publisher, and Kerry Lonsdale for this e-arc in exchange for an honest review! 4 ⭐️s

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in return for an honest review.

No More Lies by Kerry Lonsdale tells the story of Jenna Mason and her son Josh who have been moving constantly Josh's whole life. Finally settled in a small town, a reporter digs up a story on Jenna that threatens to bring her lies tumbling down around her. How far will she go to protect her son?

This book was very well written with the lies and Jenna's history slowly unravelling as the book moves along. You can really feel the tension and pressure build up as Jenna tries to keep her history quiet and keep her son safe from the man that is chasing them. You can really see how a young girl could end up in this situation and you really feel for Josh & Jenna throughout the story.

I definitely recommend this book!

I really like Kerry Lonsdale, and am so happy she has a new series. I liked the first in this trilogy.

NML follows Jenna Mason (Lily) and her journey to how she got where she is. My main struggle with this book was that it was basically the same spot as the first book in the series, just from Jenna's view. While obviously everything is different, I did not need a story from her viewpoint. I wanted the story to continue from where it left off at the first book. I felt like I got answers from the first book. It's a good story, but I wish the author had written it from the ending of the first book in the series. I'm struggling with where to rate this so I'll round up.

I am loving this series! The twists and turns in this book will have you turning pages all night. When a mother fears for her child’s life she will do whatever it takes to keep them safe even if that means picking up and leaving the perfect life behind. This was a great story filled with suspense, fear, and love, then finally learning to break free and face that fear. If you haven’t read this series, I highly recommend it. I can’t wait for the next one.

Wow! Wow!
This is book 2 in the “No More” series and again we are buckled in for a fantastic ride. This time we get deeper into Jenna/ Lilys story. The story goes that Lily 16 and pregnant, killed her friend, escaped an abusive father, left her boyfriend behind and has been on the move for the past decade. Her son Josh wants some normalcy so she promises no more running. However, the past just showed up and will not stop till not only her but Josh is punished also.
A pure edge of your seat read with such fantastic characters. I can’t wait for book 3!!!

I received a complimentary copy of this book "No More Lies" and all opinions expressed are my own. I have read the first book but it took a bit of time to remember what happened. I would rather read the series one after another. Anyway, this book was really good and I can't wait for the third in the series. A great story that you want to keep reading to find out more.

Wow! I think my pulse rate was racing along the entire time I read this fantastic book! The story grabbed me from the start and certainly never let me go. Definitely a 5 star book and wish I could rate it more than 5 stars!

This is the second in the No More series and while I do think you could read each book independently, I think you will be missing much needed background to fully enjoy the experience. This is an original plot and was totally believable to me.

I thought this series was two books, but I am thrilled to see that there will be a third book, No More Secrets to be released in 2023.

I want to thank Lake Union Publishing and NetGalley for giving me the immense pleasure of reading the advance reader copy, with no obligation to write a review. My review is written freely as a hobby, and is totally my own opinion, not influenced by receiving the ARC.

I'm so excited to have finished the second book in the No More series. This book had me on the edge of my seat just like the first one. So many questions were answered for me with this book, but I will be impatiently waiting for book #3 to find out more about this family and Lucas!

Three siblings, two very messed up parents and a LOT of lies.... The first book No More Words covers Olivia's story, No More Lies covers her sister Lily/Jenna's story and the third book will cover their brother Lucas's story. As I read this book, I could empathize with Jenna and the road she took to keep herself and her son safe. Sometimes people have to lie to stay alive, while other people lie to manipulate and get what they want. Kerry Lonsdale does such a fantastic job of keeping you on the edge of your seat and turning pages until the end. Don't hesitate to pick up a copy of this book. It could be read as a stand alone, but I recommend reading No More Words book 1 in the series first.

Thank you Kerry Lonsdale, Netgalley and Lake Union Publishing for an Advanced Reader Copy of this wonderful book! This is my honest review.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this ARC.
I love Kerry Lonsdale's books.
Excellent Book 2. This is book 2 of Kerry Lonsdale's newest trilogy. The timelines of both Book 1 (No More Words) and Book 2 overlap. I can't wait for Book 3.
Background info about the events that led to Lily running away from home as a pregnant teenager, changing her identity to Jenna Mason, and starting a career as an animator. This story focuses on Lily’s/Jenna’s son, Josh, who starts asking questions about the father he never knew. Suspenseful and keeps you on your toes.

The No More Series are the stories of three siblings, Olivia, Lily, and Lucas. Each book focuses on one sibling. This is Lily’s story. She has a new identity, Jenna, to try to escape her past. Even with the new identity she moves often along with her son, Josh. Lily/Jenna is terrified her past will catch up with her.

I’ve read the first book, which was Olivia’s story. These books can be read as standalone but you will get more out of the story if you read the series in order. There is crossover with parallel timelines you will recognize from the first book.

I love all of Kerry’s books and this was no exception. The story is gripping and reminds you not everyone has the perfect upbringing. I loved Jenna/Lily’s determination to protect her son. As a mother I can relate. She will do anything to protect Josh even if it means uncovering her past. This is a series you will want to read!
