This is an adorable little story that brings old cars back to life as Victoria goes on adventures. This was a great read and I think kids of all ages will really like reading it.

The art was cute, but the information on what a traction engine is could have come up front as it was a little confusing. It also ends on a slightly upsetting cliffhanger.

This really is a lovely story with themes of friendships, doing your best, helping others. The illustrations are beautiful and the whole story is totally charming.

I can see why children aged 3 to about 9 would love this story. You don't need to be interested in machinery of steam engines to enjoy this story, as the characters with the illustrations really come to life and children instantly love them.

I have read the other four books in the series, which is called "Victoria's Torton Tales", and they are all as charming and enjoyable. I simply have to recommend these stories to any parent or grandparent with young children, both girls and boys. They will love them.
