Accidentally Perfect follows Lillian, whose perfect job has gone up in flames and left her escaping to the small town of Blink, Maine. While attempting to figure out her next step, Lillian crosses paths with Caleb, and it doesn't start out on the right foot. But that doesn't last too long, and Lillian and Caleb soon find themselves wanting to be in each other's lives.

Accidentally Perfect is definitely my kind of book. Give me a good escape to a small town story with romance thrown in and I'm sold. I liked Lillian as a lead and enjoyed reading along with her story. The relationship between her and Caleb was fun, starting off in a cranky note and moving on to something better. Again, this one just couldn't lose. I would recommend Accidentally Perfect for romance fans looking for their next book.

Thanks to Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for this ARC; this is my honest and voluntary review.

Thank you NetGalley, Marissa Clarke and Entangled Publishing, LLC for the ARC of Accidentally Perfect. This is my personal review.
As I was reading, I wanted to know everyone in the story. Lillian was a go-getter and loves her job – well until an unfortunate incident with Nils during the taping of a show – they never do live taping but this time they did, and it did not go as planned.
Lillian ends up going to the small town of Blink Maine to stay at a property her sister owns. Once there she is immediately on the radar of Caleb who is the protector of all in Blink.
The chemistry between Lillian and Caleb jumps off the pages with a slow sizzle and this made me love this book so much. Thank you Marissa Clark for giving me the town of Blink Maine. This is the first book in the series Hideaway Harbor.

This was a well written romance novel. I enjoyed Lillian & Caleb's story. It was refreshing to read a romance that left things to the imagination & wasn't too explicit. I really want to visit a town like Blink, Maine now. Thanks to the publisher & NetGalley for advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

A type-A personality, a drama-filled TV star, and a scandal that could bring her entire life down around her feet. A dying town, a broken heart, a hot guy. This book has it all. Life reflection, romance, humor, saving a town. Well worth the read if you are in the mood for a sweet romance.

As Lillian angers a slew of fan of the lifestyle star SHE created, she needs to get out of dodge and let them all cool off. Because the star she created is basically a bratty frat boy that won't see anything her way.

Once she meets the hot single dad of Blink, Maine, her life starts to change and her brand seems to feel less important a priority. Lillian begins to realize she likes this small town and not living for others. As her frat boy employee begins to see that Lillian may not have been the problem, he actually wants her back when his new handlers seem more strict. I mean, why does a grown man child need handlers? Lillians romance begins to bloom with Caleb, but she eventually makes it home and is miserable. She needs to pull through for her love, for her company, for her sister, and even for her frat boy. Lucky for her, she has a team of people who wants to see it all succeed for her.

This was an easy, fun read. Would be perfect for a beach read this Spring.

I had not read any books by this author and decided to give this one a try. I am so glad I did.
The story of Lillian Mahoney and Caleb Wright is a sweet and touching one. These are seemingly opposites characters. One is the creator of a cooking enterprise ,living big in a NYC apartment as well as an estate outside the city. The other, a craftsman who builds exquisite boats and other woodwork, lives in a town of only 204. He’s been hurt once before and is not looking for love.
As Lillian spends time with the people of Blink and with Caleb, she finds that maybe she has been missing living a meaningful life. One with true friends, a community and a man that sees her for whom she really is .
But their time together has an expiration date. What will happen when it comes? Will they only be a memory ? Will they be left heartbroken?
The story is engaging and the main characters as well as the rest of the town are likable individuals.
The book is also a reminder that living is not about fancy and expensive things. Life is about the people you meet, the friends you make and giving love a chance.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Entangled Amara. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Lillian needs a break from her life and her work in New York. Can she find pace, happiness and love in Blink, a little town in Maine and also bring to life the town again?

This is a charming start to a small town romance series. Lillian Mahoney founded and runs Sharpe Lifestyles, think Martha Stewart, but fronted by a hot, vapid, Niles Sharpe. After a video of a fight between her and Niles goes viral, Lillian has the “Sharpies” out to cancel her. She decides to get out of Manhattan, to her sister’s cabin in Blink, Maine, population 204. Caleb Wright is a single dad of a teen, and is the grumpy love interest. Not only did I enjoy the relationship between Lillian and Caleb, I fell in love with all of the other characters from Blink. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

This was a sweet story. Lillian is an easy character to like. She is like the best friend you didn't know you were missing. Accidentally Perfect is actually the perfect book, take the day and relax with this book. You wont regret it.

What a great read! Lillian has pretty much given up her life for the lifestyle conglomerate she actually runs but that is fronted by an egomaniac who’s great-looking but clueless. Until the day he turns against her and she’s forced to leave NYC for small town Blink, Maine. There, she not only meets gruff Caleb Martin, but a whole town of lovable characters. This well-written book was sweet, funny, and totally enjoyable. While Lillian and Caleb’s story was the focus, the secondary characters were also interesting and endearing. I hope the author returns to Blink for another book!

Small town grumpy sunshine for this book. I enjoyed this book. I like the secondary characters of the teenager daughter and list overall of the book. Caleb and Lillian are great as the main characters and the romance between them is great.

I received this ARC through #netgalley and I am voluntarily reviewing this book.

I really enjoyed the story of Lillian and Caleb. She's an overworked entrepreneur (something I can relate to) and he's a backwoods, single dad. They couldn't be more different from each other in so many ways.

Yet, they find common ground that leads to love, even though their "real lives" are worlds apart.

As others have noted, there were too many places the book became repetitive. But there was a lot that was good about the story as well. So I'm thankful to the author, NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the review copy. I could see myself returning to Blink if there are future stories set there.

While I didn't let this affect my rating of the story, I will add though that the cover is a complete mismatch for the story. It's as if the designer didn't even know the story setting. Based on the cover, which is beautiful, I would assume the story was set someplace warm and tropical. The beach umbrella and far-off shoreline imply a level location. Yet, the story is set in a steeply wooded and secluded harbor in Maine, not a tropical beach destination. So, it's like the cover was created for some other story, not this one.

I found myself quickly caught up in this story. It opens very well and moves quickly with Lillian shining as the wronged and put upon protagonist. The strange choice to have the characters clash seemed far too unnatural to me as did Lillian being over the top in doing good deeds for strangers but as a plot device I went with it. The overworked city girl falls for small town seems cliched as a description but it worked for the most part. Unfortunately I did find the latter half of the novel too repetitive with the constant rehashing of the reasons behind the characters motivations and it seemed to lose its way. The story lost the plot and what should have been the focus, the love interests. If you want a light read it’s fine, just more ok than great. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Accidentally Perfect introduces Lillian a workaholic who has created a cooking show with a huge following. But Lillian needs a break. Upon the urging of her sister, she goes to Blink on the Maine coast. There is quite a difference between the lifestyle that Lillian has lived in the city and the lifestyle of the residents of Blink. This is a funny, quirky rom-com. I enjoyed it.

A great story! Big city owner of a successful company, Lillian needs a break. Taking a trip up to Blink, Maine, she spends some time in her sister's cabin, trying to relax from the constant go,go,go of her life.

While understandably difficult at first, Lillian falls in the easy step of small town life.

Enter a handsome Blink resident who is suspicious of why Lillian is here. You can probably guess the ending :)

The author did such an amazing job with character development and describing this small town. Chocked full of amazing characters you will want as friends and an amazing small town, you will fall in love with!

A nice feel good romance. Though the meeting of Lillian and Caleb was little repetitive, the book was good overall. The town Blink really was well described and made to look touristy. Some of the places were touchy and well-writtten like conversations between Lillian and Bethany. A good read. Rating it 4 stars.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Marissa Clarke made an accidentally near perfect book for me. I loved reading this book; it was fun and easy to read. Lillian is the creator of a hugely successful business that she grew with her sister Erin’s help. She branded her company based around a man she discovered named Niles. Niles is the face of the business but the real work is done by Lillian and her sister and other employees of the company…Not Niles. Things come to a head when filming an episode Niles goes off on Lillian and it becomes a media storm. Erin talks Lillian into taking a vacation and getting some time and space away from Niles. Lillian sets off for a small beach community and there she starts to second guess her life and her life’s purpose.

Blink is a dying town. It has just over 200 people who live there and there is no business to support new residents coming into the area. Lillian is quickly enamored of the landscape and the town along with the people. She knows she is only there for a brief amount of time but wants to help her newly formed friends in any way she can. The bulk of the novel is relationship building between Lillian and many of the town’s residents (especially one hunky ship renovator, Caleb). As Lillian learns more about the town of Blink and its residents the more she learns about herself.

This novel is a delightful read that takes you to a place where you can view small town living at its finest. It makes the reader nostalgic for years past in which you knew your neighbor and they were always willing to lend a helping hand. I enjoyed reading about Lillian’s adventure and the ending left me with a smile on my face. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys chick lit, women’s fiction, small town love and the hopes of forever.

I consider Maine my second home and fell in love with Blink and everyone in it!! Lillian and Caleb are such great characters and I even liked Niles once I got to know him while he was in Blink. I also liked how Bethany and Lillian got along and that Caleb didn’t get all weird once he found out who had been giving his daughter advice. This was a fantastic book and I’d highly recommend it!
