Boring and dull. I stopped and started so many times reading this book. I didn't want to DNF it. Part of the problem was that it's a sequel. Had I known that, I wouldn't have asked to read it, especially since I didn't read the first book. In the future, when providing a description of books, please note if it's part of a series and not the first book.

There's a lot of potential and I think this could become a good series. Unfortunately this book didn't keep my attention and the story fell flat.
Not my cup of tea.

Perhaps if I had read the first book in the series, I would have liked this a little. I wasn't attached to any characters. I wish there was more development for the main characters and fewer side characters. It ended up coming off more comical and cliché with little build-up.

There were a lot of filler chapters and it felt a little random at times.
My main issue was that I didn't like the plot points. Maybe if you are new to the genre and haven't read a lot, you would enjoy this.
