I like Sandra Sookoo and this series, and have read them all. But we are introduced to new family members in this book, where all the clan, plus a number of extras, get involved in the plot.
It was sad to hear that at this time dyslexia was considered to be a sign of mental weakness or disorder. Enough to confine someone to an asylum. And i would be extremely angry if that happened to me, so understand Caroline's feelings well.
It was also unusual to have so many young men shown with their disabilities from warfare in one party. But no doubt, quite realistic.
Overall, a nice, if uncomplicated shortish nove l, well written, and hopeful for the future of this family.3

Sandra Sookoo has written a great story about life, love. healing, and the importance of family. I enjoyed this story and seeing all the previous couples gathered together. I always love it when authors create stories that showcase the future of previous couples, its like visiting old friends.

The Storme Family is together for the first time in ten years. Now they have to each do their part in soothing previously estranged relationships. However nothing thats meaningful ever comes easy...

Secrets come out via mysterious letters will the family be able to heal....

Could Christmas Time Bring Healing?

The Storme Family is all in one place. As they search for clues to solve puzzles left for them by their feuding fathers, could they find a way to heal old wounds? It is possible to mend fences that have long been broken, but mending fences takes work. Could a night of playing games be enough? This is a novella that ties Storme family members introduced in prior novels with new ones that will be coming in the next set of stories. I look forward to reading about the new family members that were introduced in this novella.

Part of the Storme Brothers series, this short book introduces three siblings who are cousins of the Storme brothers. The cousins had all been the best of friends growing up, but differences had caused the families to become estranged over the years. Andrew, Earl of Hadleigh, decides it's time for the family to come back together again and they all gather for Christmastide. The book was short, but well-written and held my interest the whole time. A bit of mystery and a fun scavenger hunt will definitely have you turning the pages! The book is definitely meant to be read after reading the first three, as you get a bit of an epilogue of the three couples in this novella, so I definitely recommend you read those first. It was an entertaining, fun, and lighthearted read and I enjoyed it very much. I look forward to reading future books about the new Stormes!

What happens when you get a lot of Stormes together? Either a tornado, or taking a chance they begin working together, especially their wives!

Another great addition to this series and this time at Christmas, when anything can happen! Mysterious letters appear written by their father, revealing secrets and truth that ignites a scavenger hunt at Hadleigh Manor.

Will this bring them together or split them apart? Another great addition to this series by this talented author!

Now that he and his brothers are married and settled, Andrew Storme, Earl of Hadleigh, has decided that it is time to stop the feud and heal the rift in the Storme family. To accomplish this, he invites his brothers and cousins to Hadleigh Hall for a Christmas house party. It looks a little iffy until they find two mysterious letters one from each of their fathers. It appears the fathers have left advice for healing the family in the form of a scavenger hunt. It might help find and solve the clues if they, well, work together. Can they do it? Is it worth it?

This starts with a serious lean, but turns out to be a fun and heartwarming story. The men are still a bit standoffish and wary, but their wives are brilliant at bringing them back in line. The Stormes we know are all here along with some new faces. In addition to the cousins, including Caroline, a few friends have come to the party. This beautifully written novella begins to bring a broken family together and hints at additional stories. I look forward to more stories about the Storme family.

A CHRISTMAS PARTY OF STORMES
Clues to a treasure bring the Storme brothers and their cousins together for the first time in many years. Finding the treasure may be the answer to keeping a bond between them.

This is a short historical Christmas story that links two parts of the series. This is an important time of year for every family, and the Storme family has a lot of healing to do.

All the characters deserve a happy ending. One side of the family have, now it's their cousins turn.

I have enjoyed the previous books and am definitely going to read the rest.

Good fun.

It was great to have all the Storme's together. This book, as are the others in the series, an interesting read that puts forth mental and physical issues. I hope the Storme cousins each get a book as well.

A Storme's Christmas Legacy by Sandra Sookoo is a Christmas novella featuring the Storme brothers and their mother and introducing their cousins and their aunt. It seems their fathers had had a falling out and had never been quite able to repair it. They wanted better for their children and so designed a treasure hunt, the first clue being discovered quite accidentally. They had to work together to discover the rest of the clues, which they did. It was reminiscent of the good times they had had as children, and possible began to heal the rift.

The new Stormes are all interesting: one son and two daughters, all promising to be interesting characters in the future. The treasure hunt was fun, but unlikely. If the brothers could work together on this, why not on repairing their differences? Sookoo is good with developing characters. They are interesting and different. It was a fun, light-hearted book to read, quick and enjoyable. Well worth the time. Love those Stormes.

It’s the Christmastide season, and the Storme family has gathered for the holiday in the Derbyshire countryside. Now that the brothers have ironed out personal problems and have ushered romance into their lives, they’re ready to mend fences with their estranged cousins. For the first time in ten years, they’ve come together with hopes of recapturing the happy times they knew as children. When two mysterious letters are found inside a writing desk, penned by their fathers before both men died, the visit takes on a more special meaning. Amidst long held secrets and horrible truths coming to light, there’s a scavenger hunt afoot at Hadleigh Hall. By the end, the Storme brothers, and their new brides, as well as the Storme cousins might just come to understand each other better in order to grasp a deeper meaning to the season, and a new appreciation of family.
A well written quick read which introduces the three Storme siblings who are cousins & also acts as an epilogue for the three Storme brothers who have all found love & put aside their differences. I loved this bridging novella, it left me satisfied for the first trilogy & excited for the second. A short read but packed with strong characters & a hunt to find 'a treasure'. I read it in a sitting & now eagerly await the next in the series
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

It’s Christmastide and the Storme brothers are planning to come together in their family manor in Derbyshire to celebrate the festivities. Now that they’ve overcome their personal problems and found happiness with their brides, they want to reunite all Stormes, inviting their estranged cousins to join them. The gathering is awkward at first, but then a hunt for a mysterious treasure enlightens the mood of the party and starts bringing the Storme family together…
This book is a must for those who are following the Storme Brothers series and want to go on reading these wonderful books by Sandra Sookoo, since it introduces the main characters of the new books. I, for one, am looking forward to them because I was intrigued by the Storme cousins as much as I was by the brothers. I also loved that this book gave me a glimpse of the new life of the brothers after their weddings… It’s always a pleasure to see if a beloved character is faring well after his or her HEA! As always, the author writes beautifully and is capable of fleshing out even the most problematic characters with grace, compassion and realism.

The Storme family all appear to have inherited their father and uncle's tempestuous natures, resulting in a devastating split in the family, leaving pain and unresolved issues. Andrew, Earl of Hadleigh decides it is time to mend bridges after all the brothers and cousins had been the best of friends in their childhood. Some things are harder to overcome than others, but when they discover that their fathers had already put in place the means by which they could recreate the past and set aside their differences, they enter into the spirit of the game and find new meaning to Christmas, despite some head-butting along the way. This is a fairly short read, but not low on content as the complicated Stormes start to break down the barriers between them. I received a copy of this well-written Christmas story as a gift through Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley and this is my honest and voluntary review.

I suspect this little Christmas novella ties the first trilogy with the next one to come, as it introduces the Storme cousins(William, Isobel and Caroline) with dramas and traumas of their own. I think Caroline's story is the one I'm most looking forward to, based on her brief intro in this book she has APD, dyslexia and expressive language disorder, I haven't seen a possibly autistic heroine in a historical before and I'm excited to read it.
Back to this story though, we have the entire extended family participating in a scavenger hunt created by their respective fathers before they died as a fun way to try and start healing the rift in the family that they never quite could.
You see all the original couples and their wives and get glimpses of how they are currently handling their various mental health issues and we get a brief glimpse of what's to come with the cousins(I hope I'm anticipating something that's actually going to happen lol).
This was fast, fun and still holds all the respect for mental health and it's challenges that the author brings to this series.
