This book really was written very well. The story does start a little slow, but it gets very interesting to the point that I could not stop reading.
The world in this story is unique and full of magic. The settings and scenarios all well writtenand fascinating. The characters are interesting and good described. I liked that there was some turns that I didn't expect and made the story even better.

Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book!

I struggled a lot with Myracles in the Void and only managed to get through chapter 8 before I had to set it down. Jumped ahead to a few pages later in the book to see if it had improved, and found the writing relatively unchanged.

The story's narration and dialogue are done in a very distinct dialect for the first few chapters, which made it difficult to become immersed in the plot. The author uses "Apparently, __" constantly as an exposition device, and character behavior and dialogue feels exaggerated to the point of caricature. The two siblings, Gai and Lynd, act several years younger than their respective ages.

From what I saw the magic system seems fairly unique, but didn't get far enough to understand the mechanics.

NetGalley has this rated as a teen/YA title, but would definitely consider this written for a much younger audience, possibly middle grade.

I loved this book. The plot keeps you guessing with a nice time twist at the end. Its a story of acceptance, hope and love for everyone that all of us should read and remember. The characters are well written and keep you cheering for them till the end.

Thanks, Netgalley and publisher for the opportunity to read and review!
It was emotional and touching story that clearly shows that no matter what happened to us in the past, it shouldn't define who we are, it shouldn't deprive us from the wish to live our lives to the fullest. The main characters are siblings (which makes the story even more special to me) Both possess two types of magic and I feel like it represents their own state of mind and their emotional state - one with destructive magic, because being broken from the loss of a loved one, and one with bonding magic who follows his only wish to unite his family. The setting and magical world are also very intriguing, but I feel the focus is mainly on that inner journey that both brother and sister have to go through to find each other and themselves. It's an amazing novel I recommend to everyone!

"We each define ourselves"

I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy this book at the start but was I wrong!! What a fun adventure this was with great characters and a twist I somehow never saw coming to the point where I actually said out loud "OMG what!!" and then had to go back to an earlier chapter to reread a section where I can't believe I had no clue what was going to happen, I'm usually pretty good at working out plot twists and what's going to happen before it does.

Characters and the world were written well and could clearly picture everything.

Loved the way the Ruin and Elix magic aspect was handled.

Did struggle at the start with how the Hop characters accent is written but once I got used to that it was an easy fun read.

Would 100% recommend.

Thanks to Netgalley and Smith Publicity for the ARC copy.

Thank you Netgally for an ARC to review!

The cover for this story is so beautiful!

Myracles in the Void proposes an intriguing question; Create or Destroy?

This book admittedly took me a few chapters to be engaged in wanting to see the book through. Part of this stems from a developed dialect within the book took a handful of chapters to get used to. Plus it took me a while to place characters and remember who was who.

The unique magic system had me intrigued and wanting to know more; however, there needed to be some other reason for me to continue. I felt no attachment to the characters at 15% into this novel.
