This spicy paranormal pirate, a man a science and a psychic medium embark on a nautical adventure searching for a lost city. Is this spicy connection fast and fleeing or will it last for all eternity.

If you love pirates, paranormal romance and a bit of spice, give this a read.

While this book can be read as a standalone, it might be easier to navigate if you've read previous books in the series for more backround information. If you don't care to delve further into the backstory, you can still enjoy a quick read.

I enjoyed this one, I think I can truly say this is my first pirate romance, let alone immortal pirate romance! I loved branching out and I loved that the author is coming up with ideas outside of the regular box, she nailed it! I thoroughly enjoyed this one, My only real critique is that it says it can be a standalone, and while technically that's true, I felt really behind in several spots because I didn't fully know the backstory. I think if I had read the others and then this one, this would have been a 5 star for me.

Love these pirates. This is Caleb’s and Diana’s story. When dreams bring Caleb and Diana together, is that the only connection they have? How do their dreams connect to the change in the tides and the giant tidal wave headed for Savannah!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

***I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.***
The romance was good, both Caleb and Diana, had drastically different opinions, thoughts, and beliefs, yet both of them initially maintained respect for each other. This is one of the fundamental elements that I enjoy, when the characters develop and grow to accommodate and accept each other. This book showcased how an immortal scientist and intuitive psychic, manage to form and evolve together, in a romantic pirate fantasy.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I have loved all the books in this series. Each one can be read as a standalone but they are better read in order as a series. Caleb is the navigator for the crew and he has been having strange dreams of the lost city of Atlantis. When a woman shows up wanting to go to a certain set of coordinates in the ocean Caleb is not sure if it is a good idea. It could be the end of them all or the answer to what is going on in Savannah.

Insta-love, pirates, and a psychic. What's not to love about this paranormal romance? I absolutely adored this book. Highly recommend checking out Lisa Kessler's books!

While this wasn't my favorite Sentinels of Savannah book, I did still enjoy this!
However, I don't like insta-love and much prefer a slow burn, and this was definitely not it.
Caleb and Diana went from being strangers to making love and declaring their undying love for each other in a span of 2 weeks, and I just didn't buy it. They definitely had chemistry, but I preferred the romance in the other books in the series.
I loved both Caleb and Diana though. I also loved the aspect of science vs magic.

Characters
Diana is a psychic local to Savannah who’s helped the crew in the past, even if only a couple have met her before. She’s strong willed and refuses to let a man get in the way of what she wants from life, especially after the stunt her ex pulled on her in college.
Caleb is the Sea Dogs navigator and has his head 100% committed to science and the tangible world. With multiple doctorates in a range of fields, he considers himself an expert in many areas. Yet when he starts getting dreams he can’t explain, his answer is to stop sleeping to avoid the nightmares.
Storyline
Diana and Caleb are getting very similar dreams that are pushing them out to sea by some unknown force. Diana convinces the crew of the Sea Dog to go to some coordinates in the middle of the Atlantic telling them it’ll stop the tsunami that she believes is coming to Savanah.
From all the research they’re all doing to try and understand what’s out there, it looks more and more likely that Atlantis has something to do with it.
Overall Thoughts
I was a bit hesitant about how I felt about this in a few ways, but then in others I quite enjoyed it.
The hint of something to do with Atlantis had me suckered in, but then the development of Caleb and Diana’s relationship felt odd to me. That doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it. There was just something that kept niggling at the back of my mind that I couldn’t quite place.
In the end I think I enjoyed the Atlantis vibes more than the romance. That seemed to intrigue me so much more than the romance did. Or maybe I’d been on a binge of romances at the time and so the Atlantis stuff just caught my attention more coz it was a bit different. I’m not sure.
Still a great book, and it reminded me I still haven’t gone back to the start of the series to read those. Hopefully in 2022 I will get around to doing that.

This was a fun book. What's not to love about immortal pirates getting up to paranormal shenanigans... and sexy times? This would be a great beach read. Highly recommend for your next vacation.

This is the 6th book in Lisa Kessler's Sentinels of Savannah novels, which I didn't realize when I picked this up. I haven't read any of the other books so there were a few times I was a little lost when there were references or character names from prior books.

Pirate Caleb Graves is immortal and loves science. There are erratic tides threatening Savannah. He has a run in with local psychic Diana. Both of them have dreams that lead them to each other and into a mystery. But Caleb isn't exactly the willing ship captain she was hoping for.

It was a good, easy beach read with good steam and a solid plot line. It didn't wow me, but it was entertaining all the same. Romance readers who like pirate books will enjoy this. I actually would .like to go back and read the series from the beginning and really get to know Caleb better because I felt a little disconnected from him as a character.

Another fab addition to the series. Love these guys and can’t wait for our next trip aboard the Sea Dog.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is book 6 in a series, of which I have read none of the others. I was lost! So sad about it, as I really usually enjoy this author. I think that this is one that you need a bit more backstory. For me, it seemed very convoluted. This was a bit over the top for me and I almost stopped reading a couple of times. I did finish the book, but I didn't really enjoy it. 2.5 stars from me, but possibly if I had read the others it would have been higher.

Would you give up immortality for love? Caleb Graves might be immortal pirate that loves science but he is worried. Something is going on with the tides in Savannah and he fears that something awful is coming. He wasn't expecting Diana Williams to come marching onto his ship and the strong pull that he wou!d towards this captivating petite psychic. But can they find the answers in the dreams that they both are having?
But will this man of science be able to believe in magic even when Diana shows him the way? They are instantly attracted to each other but they know that they have to find the answers that they need to find the lost city of Atlantis but the journey won't be easy for anyone. Will they survive another day to explore their love for each other?
A great read full of adventure and twists. I was lucky enough to receive a copy in exchange for my honest review.

I love this book so much!!
Since the last installment in this series I was excited to get to know Caleb more, and we just got that!
I loved this couple's story and it is my favorite so far.
Can’t wait for the next one.

Thanks net galley and entangled teen for the eARC!

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

Yeah, the pirates are back! This time, Caleb meets Diana and does not believe in the importance of her dreams. She wants to go to a specific coordinate in the middle of the ocean and as a man of science, Caleb does not think her request has any merit.

The title of the book is pretty telling as this book was a paradox and Caleb, an immortal pirate who drank from the Holy Grail, does not think there is magic in the world!

Diana calls in a debt to get the crew to take the Sea Dog out and from there, the action is non-stop and the attraction between Diana and Caleb is not something they can fight or deny. The biggest question is how can they make a life when he is immortal and she has no desire to drink from the Holy Grail.??

Lots of action, twists, and secrets still to be revealed so looking forward to the next book!

What a paradox indeed! This is the 6th book in Lisa Kessler's Sentinels of Savannah novel and probably one of my favorites so far to date. This can be read alone, but I do recommend this series as a lot of characters make appearances in the next books.

Caleb is a Ship Navigator, attempting to figure out how to make his way through the Atlantic to Atlantis, his only lead? The knowledge of a mysterious storm.. He's immortal, but has some very mortal quirks which I really loved. Buying all the gadgets on infomercials, and shockingly, his disbelief in magic! Something hilarious to me, given that he is an immortal ship navigator. He was a little grumpy and set in his ways which I just love to see topple.

Diana is a psychic who starts having dreams about a location foreign to her. And what does any good psychic do? She starts searching for a ship to get her where she feels she needs to be. She is a capable woman who works hard to bring Caleb around to what she is and how magic plays a role in life.

I loved the chemistry between these two. It came on fast but didn't feel forced. They tried to set it aside several times as they discovered how their dreams might be connected. I enjoyed the read and seeing how they came together to discover their mysteries. I will say would have loved a little more backstory from both Caleb and Diana. They both seemed to have interesting origins and I feel that could have been fleshed out a bit more. Still a worthwhile read and I can't wait for the next installment!

The opinions shared are my own and freely given.

Book 6 in the series. But it can be read as a stand-alone. This story has so much going for it. Suspense, mystery lots of twists and turns Lisa wrote a very well detailed story. The word building is strong and flows easily.
Hero is Caleb. Heroine is Diana

Caleb is the ship’s navigator on a pirate ship And trying to find out why they can’t leave Atlantis It’s been happening round and round in Atlantis for two hundred years. He doesn’t believe in love. Caleb believes he meet his true love and he lost her . . He’s sworn off of women .

Diana keeps on having dreams for a while . She keeps on seeing a pirate . She doesn’t know why. But the dreams and urges are getting stronger. She finally acts on it she asks one of the pirates from a previous book to take her where she believes her dreams are building her

When I saw this one I said oh goody another gorgeous one in this series. Caleb is featured in this one with him being the ship's navigator. He also knows something terrible coming their way. Diana bursts into his world by needing a ship so there we go it began. Being this is paranormal we received a great adventure and romance. Turn the pages to see if the storm is conquered or not.

This is book 6 in the Sentinel's of Savannah, and while it could be read as a stand alone, I would read the previous books before this one as most of the characters are introduced previously. Along with a lot of back story is given previously. With that being said, in this installment we get Caleb Graves and Diana Williams's story. Caleb knows there is something happening in Savannah, he just doesn't know what it is. Nor can he explain the dreams he has been having about sailing into a storm. Diana is a psychic who has also been having dreams. Dreams that she knows she can't ignore, not anymore. She has the coordinates for a specific spot in the ocean, and she just needs the right ship to get her there. What neither realize is that their dreams may be what will help them save Savannah or it could bring them to their doom.

I am always sucked into the books in this series, and honestly this one was no different. Caleb is the navigator and I have always been curious about his story and how he got to where he is. And I was really hoping his story would give me more of his background. This is one of the reason's I knocked it down a star. I felt like that history of his was missing. Don't get me wrong, I really liked his character but I wanted to know more. Diana is a psychic, but again, I felt like there was something missing with her back story or history.

Other than that, I loved the story. These two connected really fast but it didn't seem forced. It almost seemed fated. Caleb is definitely awkward but in a cute way. Diana is strong but she isn't afraid to get help or ask for it if she needs to. Their chemistry was definitely there from the start but they also have this witty banter that I really liked. I also loved how their mutual dreams are woven into the story. It didn't feel weird or forced, it just felt like something that was meant. All in all, an enjoyable read that kept me engaged from the start and I didn't want it to end!
