5 star read.

I found this to be highly readable and applicable for a personal finance book. It has the standard background story of how the author got to be interested in / involved in personal finance (and I loved his wife chiming in). And his practical advice was doled out succinctly and with wisdom.

Highly highly recommend.

Make More, Save More, and Give More than Ever Before with Bob Lotich

In his early 20’s Bob found himself at his breaking point… Overwhelmed by debt and stranded 1,000 miles from home with only $7 to his name.

Fast forward to today, Bob’s reached a level of financial freedom he never dreamed possible: owning a paid off house by age 31 and even reaching his family’s personal goal of giving one million dollars by age 40.

Listen to learn how to start giving money to others and how Bob’s family is currently giving away over 40% of their income.

We also discussed how to evaluate risk, follow your passions, and how to start a business of your own.

You’ll learn why you should to stop comparing yourself to others, and how you should be playing in a completely different ball game all together. Also, why it’s important to say no to the flesh, and discover how to be successful in taking a full day of rest each week.

We discussed all of this and much, much more in this episode, so please enjoy!

Simple Money, Rich life is a Christian financial book written by Bob Lotich to help you find your passion and purpose in life through listening to and trusting God. I really liked this book. I picked it up because he’s a Christian author and I was curious about how to intertwine money and faith. This book is put together in quick, easy to understand chapters to help you figure out your financial plan/job purpose. Bob does include his wife in the book, but I skipped over her parts because they really didn’t add anything to the book, in my opinion. I do love that the book gives you ideas/steps to take for business owners, freelancers, and employees. Bob also had many tools throughout the book that are helpful and necessary for fighting your fears and figuring out your journey. I recommend buying the actual book versus a digital copy so you can highlight, tab, and take notes.

Thank you WaterBrook & Multnomah and NetGalley for the advanced copy of this book!

After following Bob & Linda Lotich's blog, SeedTime since 2021, I was very interested in reading their book "Simple Money, Rich Life.
This book did not disappoint! As a follower of Larry Burchett for many years, the practical, doable steps and refreshing Biblical perspective of this book, gave me a renewed zeal for making a difference in my family's finances. I also very much enjoyed that Bob & Linda both had input in the book. Their individual attitudes and solutions to accomplishing their collective goals in money management gave me hope that different "money" personalities CAN reach this desired outcome of giving, saving and investing. "Simple Money, Rich Life" is a must read for anyone who wants to secure their own financial future as well as be able to give and bless others as God leads them. Thank you NetGalley and WaterBrook & Multnomah for the opportunity to read this book and offer my review.

I am so glad I read this book! There are so many great takeaways and helpful tips in Simple Money, Rich Life. Bob Lotich has years of financial experience and breaks it down in a way the reader can easily understand. Bob goes over how to be a good steward of the money God has blessed us with. Bob Lotich changed the way I view giving. He states that there aren't any rules in giving and you can give as much as you feel called. There is no perfect amount to give and it is different for everyone. You're not limited to give 10%. I feel better about my financial future and feel motivated to earn, save, give, and enjoy money. I feel less stressed about money overall and am more grateful for what the Lord has blessed me with.
