I have seen this going around booksta and gave it a go.

I think books like this are fun and necessary reads but not because they teach you anything new.
On the contrary - it's because they remind you of things you ALREADY knew but just needed to remember

Thanks for a copy of the ARC in return for my honest review.
The Lost Art of Dating falls under the self help category. It provided some helpful advice for relationships.

This dating “self-help” book was a bit refreshing and the author definitely had some good tips and tricks aside from the usual pointers that most authors write.

I was actually looking for advice for someone who was in a relationship and wanted to go back through the dating stage. We both had a rough year due to an illness I endured and I wanted to see if there were ideas that I could glean from this book in order to do so. There were a few things that stick out, but overall this book is for those that are single and need a little boost to get out there and in front of other single folks. Well-written and charming ideas!

Thank you Netgalley for this ARC for an exchange for an honest review.

Loved it, A must read. Helpful.

The title of the book suggested it would have more content about how to behave on dates, but it was really more a plea to the persistently single to broaden their horizons (and lower their expectations to a realistic level!) while in search of a date, as well as etiquette surrounding setting up dates. It was quite readable although very short. I would have liked to see more detail about how to set up an online dating profile, or questions to ask on a date.

The majority of the book was nothing new but there were some lovely little gems and it was a nice and timely reminder. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Most of these dating advice books, all kind of say the same thing, but there would some good little nuggets throughout that made it a worthwhile read. On a Saturday night. Ahem.
