A delightful read featuring wedding dress stories., friendships and family dramas..
You really feel for Ella and Lucy with the bridesmaid dress their friend has selected.

I can't wait to read more in this series.

Ah this was just the book I needed after a crazily hectic time away and some dark thrillers!

After loving The Library and The Girls by Bella Osborne, I couldn’t resist this one! Women’s fiction is my favorite genre after all!

Fun, heartwarming and filled with some joyful moments of humor, the first installment of this story was brilliant! The next parts can’t come soon enough for me!

Synopsis –

Ella is a skilled seamstress at a bridal boutique shop. A simple and unassuming girl, she has always overly kind and accepting of everything that comes her way. Her best friend Brittany is soon getting married and she is going to be the bridesmaid for only the 8th time. When her blind date stands her up, she runs into the handsome and charming Kit O’Leary. Meeting him might change her life more than she ever expected.

Review –

The narrative alternates between Ella and her childhood bestie Lucy. I came to adore both of them and together with Brittany, these girls share a beautiful friendship. I enjoyed their witty banter and casual joviality.

Ella is such a wonderful character! Although she and Lucy have had different upbringings and share varied opinions about life, I love how they support each other emotionally. The way Lucy nudges Ella to stand up for herself and not get bossed around was so very well done. I really appreciated how Ella took it seriously and worked towards it.

Given that Ella is so organised, composed and watchful of her carefully planned life, it will be interesting to know what Kit’s intervention will bring in to her life.

Sensing the budding romance between them, as they’ve just begun to meet around some challenging circumstances, I really can’t wait to find out how it will all span out for them! Will it end Ella's streak as a bridesmaid?

Lucy’s end of the story is also equally intriguing and with how things have been left with her, I am really curious to find out more about her as well.

The ending has certainly left me in the lurch and I am so ready for the next part!

Thanks NetGalley and Avon Books UK for the ARC in exchange of an honest review!

I have loved all of Bella Osborne’s books and wasn’t surprised that I loved this one too. I sat and read the first part of Ella’s story in one sitting and didn’t want it to finish. Can’t wait for the next part.

Like Ella, I was a bridesmaid numerous times and never thought I would be a bride, but to work in the bridal industry must make that thought even harder. Love her cat and her friends, who can see her flaws but want the best for her.

Easy to read, easy to relate to, left me wanting more …

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

This is the first in a four part series.

We meet 29 year old Ella, she works as a seamstress in a bridal shop, which is owned by Wanda, her horrible boss. Ella doesn’t stand up for herself so people tend to take advantage of her.

Brittany and Lucy are Ella’s friends and soon Brittany is to get wed and it’ll be the eighth time Ella will be a bridesmaid, Lucy’s job is that of a divorce lawyer.

Whilst awaiting her blind date to turn up one evening, she sees her father, with someone who’s not her mother, and so does another person sitting at another table, at the same time, bringing something else that Ella now needs to think about.

I am eager to see what happens next.

Books about weddings are totally my jam. Especially if centered in a small town.
A Wedding at Sandy Cove was a quick, warm and comforting read.
I loved the vibes it gave. The cover is gorgeous which helped me picture the book that way throughout.

Such a fun summer reading. This is part one, so I’m looking forward to the rest of the series. I loved this cover, so I’m getting the hard copy of this one. The characters are relatable. It ends on a cliff-hanger so I’ll be counting down the days to grab part 2.

Thank you Netgalley and Avon book UK for my ARC.

This was just what I needed right now-light, summer fun read loaded with romance, friendships, and self discovery.
Ella works as a seamstress at a bridal store and her boss is a monster. Ella is very passive and non confrontational so people tend to take advantage of her, even her own friend who wants her to wear a hideous bridesmaid dress. So one day while they’re having a meeting about wedding details she happens to spy her father with someone who isn’t her mother, and a man at another table notices her noticing them and that sparks a whole different situation she needs to deal with. The bright side of it all is her rescue cat, Pirate, who is blind and three legged and adorable!
I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series.
Thanks to Avon Books UK and NetGalley for this eArc in exchange for my review.

I love Bella Osborne’s novels and I really enjoyed A Wedding at Sandy Cove, Part One: Always the Bridesmaid. There’s certainly a lot packed into this first part. We’re introduced to some great characters who I look forward to getting to know over the rest of the parts and seeing how the playoff resets, Thank you to NetGalley, Avon Books UK and the author for the chance to review.

Thank you NetGalley, Bella Osborne, and Avon Books for the ARC of A Wedding at Sandy Cove. This is my personal review.
This was part one of the book series and I can not wait to read the rest of it!
Part one is about Ella and her story. She is a woman who knows what she wants to do but just needs to find the way to it.
This is a wonderful start to the story. Without giving anything away I will just say you are going to want to read this book. You will be so glad you did.
Bella Osbourne has the magnificent skill of telling a story and drawing a reader in from the first page.

Im a great fan of Bella Osborne but not of the four part format of book release. I will gladly return to this story after the final instalment has been released.

This is Part 1 of a story. Here we are introduced to the various characters and get some insight into what they do and how they think .
Ella is a talented seamstress who has a horrible boss. Her BFF sets her up on a blind date, and while waiting for him to show up, she spots her father leaving the restaurant with a woman who is not her mother. This leads to a meeting with Kit, the son of the woman who was seen with Ella's dad. The two decide to work together to unravel the mystery behind their relationship, and end the affair.
This is a fast paced, great story. All the characters are relatable, and each so different. Really enjoyed this Part 1 and cannot wait for Part 2.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This is a review for part one. Wow . Wow . Wow.. I am going to pre order all the other parts. It is a story of 3 friends, a wedding shop, a father behaving strangely and a love element.. I was so sad it ended with a cliff hanger. Roll on part 2

First book of a serial.

In this episode, we meet Ella, a 29-year old single woman working as a seamstress in a bridal shop owned by Wanda, a terrible boss. We meet Ella's friends, Brittany and Lucy. Brittany is getting married soon (assume that's where the series title comes in), and Lucy is a divorce lawyer.

One evening while waiting on a blind date to show, Ella gets two huge surprises one after the other. The first surprise is a pivotal moment, and is pretty much the topic of the rest of the episode. Except for one more thing at the end.....

This is a quick read, funny and clean. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

Loved it!! As soon as I started reading this, I knew I would love it. I'm surprised Ella didn't kill Angel. I would have tied her up with some tulle and stuffed her in a dressing room. Her mom's bridal book of dresses was ridiculous. Ella needs to stand up to Wanda. She is the worst boss. I love Lucy and Ella. Everything that comes out of Lucy's mouth makes me laugh. It's clear that Brittany has no fashion style. There is nothing good about that hideous latte bridesmaid dress. Hopefully Ella can use her magic and turn them into something less ugly. Kit is perfect for Ella. Why don't they just confront them instead of concocting crazy stories to keep them apart. I can't wait to find out what is going on with the mom and dad. I'm guessing/hoping it's not what they think. Love Pirate. Who doesn't love a blind, three-legged cat missing part of a lip???

Definitely recommend the book. Loved the characters, writing style and story. I was smiling and laughing constantly while reading this. Can't wait to see what happens next!!!! Look forward to reading more books by the author.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Avon Books UK through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I have always been a fan of bellas books and part 1 of this new story did not disappoint.
Ella has a dream job as seamstress of wedding dresses, gaining huge satisfaction from making brides look amazing for their big day. The only snitch is her awful boss Wanda. Ella is considering setting up her own business and may be forced into a rapid decision after suddenly being fired.
To add complication further, it would appear that her beloved dad is having an affair, whilst her best friend is getting married, requiring Ella and her friend Lucy into wearing brown bridesmaid dresses...
A really easy, fun read. Cant wait to see how this story unfolds.

I already can’t wait for part 2! I got to the last page and kept pressing my kindle for more. Love following Ella’s story and what is happening with her dad resonates with me as I experienced the same with my parents when I was in my early twenties. I’m can’t wait to see what happens next and really hope Ella tells Wanda what she really thinks!
