*I had the absolute privilege of getting an audio ARC from Dreamscape Media and Netgalley and I could not be more grateful. All thoughts and comments are my own.*

I love audiobooks, let alone spicy romances with firefighters, so Hot for You was a win for me.

Maggie is a single mom just trying to make it for her and her daughter. One day her daughter gets her to pull the car over to save an abandoned puppy. The puppy getss saved, but Maggie is hit by a car shortly after. She's not seriously injured but does need emergency care. Enter the hot firefighter. (insert maniacal smiley face here)

Reggie, said rescuing hot firefighter, visits Maggie in the hospital, which is not in the normal firefighter capacity and the two, plus dog and kid become closer when he offers to help out with the pupper until Maggie fully recovers. What starts as helping another human being out, turns into something much hotter.

I always enjoy Marie Harte's writing. She blends happy romance with spicy smexy times. I am not a huge fan of drama, which makes Marie a good fit for me.

The narrator, Tatiana Sokolov, did a great job. Her intonations and character vices were spot on. She was easy to understand and her pacing was on point.

I look forward to more in the series.

I am a sucker for spicy books and even better when they are on audio. It makes it easier to clean my house when I've got a great narrator telling a good story in my ear. Thanks for the chance to review.

Olivia and Aaron were married and into some sexy business… Marie Harte gave us a firefighting sexy character and a surprisingly sweet second-chance story. Crazy sexy, definitely mature themes.

Meh. Not a fan of dirty talk. 🤢 It just always sounds gross. And there ended up being a bit of it after someone came out of their shell! lol. I did like the story, the romance, but I did not like how dumb Reggie was when it came to women. I didn't like the chapters in Emily's perspective, that was odd and
I didn't feel like they belonged. But Emily did remind me of my niece, Olivia, who is younger but just as precocious and smart and sassy as Emily is!

This was such a good steamy read. I needed something to play while working that entertained me but wants too distracting and this was just the right amount of romance and spice

I can see why people like this book but it just didn't work for me. There was a cute overload with the young daughter Emily. Every time Emily had a chapter it took me out of the romance. I just don't need to read about kids in a romance.

I finished this yesterday, and it’s still a bit steamy in here from listening to the hot chemistry between Reggie and Maggie! Gorgeous firefighter Reggie rescues schoolteacher and single mom, Maggie when she is in a car accident that leaves her with a broken arm. The attraction is instant and on fire. But when Reggie’s ex-girlfriend appears needing his help yet again, will he risk his new love for her? I loved listening, but I’d make sure you use headphones - I blushed quite a few times at the sex scenes!

This is the first book I've read in the series and I promise you, I WILL be going back and reading every single one. Maggie is my favorite kind of heroine, shes a strong independent woman who always puts her child before anything else. Her character is a force to be wreckoned with. Reggie just wants to save the world, including helping Maggie. The chemistry between the two is undeniable.

Hopefully we'll see more of them in the next book in the series!

Hot For You was a 2.75/3.0 star read for me. This book was just OK.

To be completely honest I had a hard time connecting with the characters. I didn't personally like how much the daughter was a part of the storyline. I know the intention was for her to be funny but to me, she just started to get on my nerves. There was also not enough conflict in this book to keep me interested and I felt like there was a ton of fluff that just made the book feel like it was dragging on. I was not excited to keep playing the audiobook. I will give another book by Marie Harte a shot in hopes it hooks me more.

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC. All reviews are my own.

Hot for You, written by Marie Harte and narrated by Tatiana Sokolov , is a contemporary romance. Firefighter Reggie Morgan is done with love, done with relationships, and done with complications. But when he's called to the scene of a hit-and-run, he finds a scared little girl, a butt-ugly stray puppy, and an unconscious woman he can't get out of his mind. The girl and the puppy are a handful, but the girl's mother, Maggie, might just be the woman to melt his icy heart. He’s loved and lost before, and the pain nearly broke him. But when they can't ignore their unquenchable desire for each other, Maggie, a teacher by trade, is confident she can show him all about falling—and staying—in love.

Hot for You gave me exactly what I expect from this author. The characters are complex, each with flaws and an openness about them that I love. The secondary characters were just as complex and interesting as Maggie and Reggie. I thought the journey to HEA for Maggie and Reggie was well done, and I liked the frank and honest way they discussed problems, the past, and the work that could be involved in creating a future. I could tell that the book is part of or at least related to a series or maybe two- but while I have read several books by the author none of the characters were ones I remember. Newcomers to Harte will not miss anything by not knowing the characters either. I think fans of Harte and and new readers alike can really enjoy this read in their preferred format. The narrator did a great job and I enjoyed her tone and inflections. My only issue with the audio edition comes down to editing. I found the pauses between chapters to be slightly too long. I checked my phone and connection several times thinking something had gone wrong when it was simply a long pause.

Hot for You is a solid romance with great characters and a high heat factor.

This book was an easy read and I liked the narrator, but overall the book was just okay. I didn't hate it, but I didn't really like it either and won't be reading more in this series.

Hot for You is the third book in Marie Harte's steamy firefighter series Turn up the Heat. The romance stands alone, so feel free to dive right in as you won't be lost in the least. I listened to the audiobook version which was decently narrated by Tatiana Sokolov. It was a fun and sweet romance with an overload of intimate scenes.

Firefighter Reggie Morgan was burned in love before, and now he's gun shy. He was in love with a woman with a child Reggie absolutely adored, but she suddenly left him without him getting even a goodbye from the little girl. He's sworn off love, but then he's called to the scene of a hit-and-run accident. There he finds scared little Emily, (who he previously met when giving a talk about his job to a group of kids), a hurt stray puppy and an unconscious woman. The woman is teacher Maggie Swanson, the divorced single mother of Emily. Reggie visits Maggie while she's in the hospital, and the the two can't help but be drawn to each other. Is Reggie following old patterns and trying to be a saviour, or has he finally found his perfect partner?

I really enjoyed the story and characters in this audiobook. Emily was an endearing "Ninja Warrior Princess", puppy Frank (short for Frankenstein) was simply adorable, and Reggie and Maggie were genuinely likeable people. Maggie was now friends with her former husband, was self-sufficient and had wonderful friends. She didn't " need" a man, but she wanted Reggie. Reggie had a loving and teasing family, and he had great friends in his brother firefighters. He loved to help people, but he allowed himself to be used by others, such as his former girlfriend Amy who played him like a fiddle. He would clash with Maggie when he tried to pay for dinners, etc. because she didn't want to be taken care of, just loved. The attraction between these two was incendiary, and steamy times were had frequently. Rather graphic intimate relations were lovingly detailed. I must admit there were times that I wish they would take a break going at it like bunnies and return to the basically sweet storyline. There were some great supporting characters, most notably Reggie's charming father who tries to give his son relationship advice, his firefighter buddy Mack, and married couple Benny and Doug, who are Maggie's best friends and Emily's "uncles". Narrator Tatiana Sokolov did an excellent job voicing Maggie and Emily, but she didn't have much range with the male characters. I'm looking forward to Mack's story, which we get a hint of at the end of this one. Keep the ice water close at hand!

I received an ARC of this audiobook courtesy of the publisher and NetGalley. I received no compensation for my review, and all thoughts and opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Great audiobook! So charming and funny! Narrator did an amazing job. I smiled so hard listening to this.

What did I like? Reggie was hesitant to love again but with a heart so big it was impossible for him not fall for Emily and Maggie. The little girl was so much fun with her exuberant questions and Maggie’s bedroom voice made me laugh so hard. Fantastic narration!

Would I recommend or buy? If you love audiobooks then this one was amazeballs! Hot for you was so HAWT! Love a great fireman’s romance!

I received a complimentary audiobook and voluntarily left this review!

This is definitely a steamy romance, with a little humor and a lot of romance mixed in. From the beginning of the story, it sucked you in with humor. As the book progressed, it turns to romance, with steamy scenes mixed in. Strong characters and a solid story line keep this book going! Good read if you are looking for a steamy firefighter/teacher romance!

Hot for You, Turn Up the Heat #3, written by Marie Harte and narrated by Tatianna Sokolov is a steamy, sexy, sweet, funny, and entertaining book that draws you in from the very first scene with laugh-out-loud humor, making you laugh and keeping you listening with interesting, well-drawn characters, vivid description, and a thoughtful and emotional story that sneaks up on you. Harte deftly balances off-beat humor with smoking hot (porntastic) sex and serious, intense, and emotional content. One of my favorite things about her novel is how the hero and heroine take the time to get to know each other, talk, and hang out. While their sexual attraction is strong and the relationship may initially be primarily sexual, they develop a solid foundation for a genuine friendship that leads to a deeper connection. I love steamy romances where the characters form a deeper connection on other levels too—emotional, mental, friendship.

Still hurting from a bad breakup, firefighter/EMT Reggie Morgan thought he was over love, relationships, and complications. All of that didn’t take into consideration a precocious little genius named Emily who he meets during a firefighter presentation at the library. Surprisingly, when he’s called to the scene of a hit-and-run, he finds a frightened Emily holding onto a butt-ugly stray puppy and her unconscious mom, Maggie, who makes an even bigger impression on him. He can't get her out of his mind. Though he’s determined not to repeat his past mistakes that lead to his broken heart, Reggie can’t stay away from Maggie, who captures his imagination, enflaming his desire, and Emily, who easily works her way into his heart. Maggie is just as into Reggie as he is into her. But since her divorce, her life has been focused solely on raising her incorrigible daughter.

I love Hot for You’s original, quirky, and very real characters, especially Maggie’s genius, six-year-old with her hilarious preoccupations. She’s my favorite character because she’s one of a kind and just so adorably funny. Emily’s a scene-stealer, but not the only one. I liked that Reggie’s race is brought up in positive, descriptive ways and neither disregarded/avoided nor does it become the source of conflict in this romance featuring an African American man and a white single mom. Instead, the novel is all about the connections between Reggie and Maggie and Reggie and Emily. I also love that Reggie is a brain genius too and a pop culture nerd. Reggie’s a sweet man with a generous, kind and loving heart, but he’s also kind of a hot mess! It’s a nice change of pace for the heroine to have her stuff together and the hero to be the messy one. I won’t go into details, but he went into full-on tripping mode, which really tried my patience. Maggie’s response only enhanced my respect and appreciation for her character. These two really are made for each other in all the ways.

Narrator Sokolov nicely voices the characters for this novel, male and female, from different regions of the country, using different accents, dialects, pitches, and tones, capturing their quirks, emotions, and personalities with ease. She brings this story brilliantly to life.

Romance readers looking for a spicy, hilarious, erotic romance with a sweet, emotional love story that will reaffirm their belief in happily-ever-afters should give this engaging audiobook a listen.

Thank you Net Galley for an audio copy of Hot For You by Marie Harte. Who doesn't love a good fireman romance. Not me! This was a hot romance with a his storyline.

This was an entertaining, well-written book. It was heartwarming, steamy, clever and I didn't want to put it down. This book can be read as a standalone story, though it is #3 in the Turn Up the Heat series. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books in this series as well as others by this author.

A fun and sexy escape, this story revolves around single mother hit by a car and a super sexy firefighter called to the scene. This was a steamy story about finding love and happiness. I haven't read the others books in the series, but the teaser at the end is making me grab for the next one.
