Until April by Aurora Rose Reynolds is the tenth novel in her Until Her/Him series. This novel has all of the hallmark traits of the series—including the instant attraction, possessive hero, sassy and sweet heroine, a little action, and a lot of heat. The audiobook performance was well done and completely engaging. With Until April, Aurora Rose Reynolds adds another solid addition to her popular series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a great read if you want a well balanced combination of steamy romance and fast paced adventure. The narrations for April and Maxim are great, though I wish there had been a bit more of the male narrator.

The narrator did a good job. Though some parts felt a little rushed. I still enjoyed the overall story and can’t wait for more in the future.

Bossy alpha and headstrong realtor meet and pretty much never part. There's OM drama and a serial-ish killer, oh my. It's sexy and hit some sort of weird compilation of my unexplainable "it" buttons, and I'm not mad at it.

April has decided to focus on her career and trying to live her best life. When she does a favor for a family friend, she ends up re-acquainting herself with a blast from her past. Little does she know exactly how much he is going to turn her life upside down. With her ex causing problems and a possible serial killer focusing on realtors in her area, April has to figure out if she can trust Maxim with more than her heart.

The connection between April and Maxim was pretty quick, I mean they ummm, "get together" pretty quickly and then they like never really part. Well, there is a small parting, but then it's back together again. I really wish we had more dual POV than just the scant 2-3 Maxim POV chapters. I want to know more about what's going on in his head. Why was he so sure, so obsessed? Where did it come from? What were his motivations? I did like that Maxim was a hot alpha male but also had manners and was a gentleman.

Laura Jennings and Sebastian Grove did a great job narrating. They (well mostly Laura- see above) did a great job with individual character voices and intonations.

The book is fairly fast-paced, there are a lot of subplots going on to drive the story. I don't think the ex storyline was 100% necessary but eh, I'm not a writer, I don't know everyone's motivations. Overall, it's sweet, steamy, and gives a good sigh-worthy conclusion.

I listened to the audiobook and it was perfection. I loved the narrators - they brought out the drama and intensity in this book so well! Even if you've previously read this book, the audiobook is well worth your time!!

Maxim and April are positively delightful together! His alpha tendencies will keep her safe when she needs it the most. The Until series has always been a favorite and Aurora delivers a tale that is not only romantic but adds suspense as well. The narrators bring the story to life!

I had no idea until I was finished reading that this is a series. Until April made me a fan and I will go back and read the other books. I liked the characters. I liked the insta-love. Maxim is so secretive that I was never sure of his motives with April. This kept me guessing and intrigued.

Until April is a truly fantastic book that has you on the edge of your seat and completely engrossed from beginning to end. April is an independent woman who has put all her efforts into becoming a successful real estate agent. Through her business she meets an old aquaintance (also her first and best kiss), who she has immediate off the charts chemistry with. Maxim feels so strongly for April that he has no intention of letting her get away and immediately insinuates himself into her life.

April has been burned by a famous singer and is leary of Maxim and very unsure of his intentions, she just knows she has strong feelings for him but doesn't want to ask him what his plans for her are. She just assumes they are temporary since Maxim lives in another state. As these two work to form a lasting relationship, April is also facing other life problems like her ex announcing to the world she is the one that got away and he wants her back and also someone killing women real estate agents which in turn makes selling homes a scary affair for her.

Until April had such an amazing storyline, with so much action, drama, angst, mystery, off the charts steam and so much more. I highly recommend this book and will definitely be listening to this again and again. The narrators Laura Jennings and Sebastian Grove both did wonderfully at portraying each character, I will definitely be looking for more books read by these two. I look forward to reading / listening to all the other books in this series and can't wait for stories for some of the side characters. This book was absolutely a MUST read / listen!!!!

Until April is a spicy and suspenseful story that reunites Maxim and April. This fast paced, second chance story has great dynamics between the characters and Maxim and April have a lot of chemistry. In fact, I could feel the intensity between them jumping off the pages as I read their story.

April and Maxim reconnect after not seeing each other since they were teenagers. Although Maxim and April get together very quickly in the beginning, their story is beautifully written. The character development is realistic and they each have layers and vulnerabilities.

This is the perfect combination of romance and suspense. Someone is killing real estate agents and April could be next. So, Maxim does everything within his power to keep April safe.

I loved Maxim. He doesn’t hesitate to let April know he wants a relationship with her. Yes, Maxim is a possessive, dominant alpha male, but he is also affectionate and caring and I loved how he treats April.

April is an independent and successful woman, who isn’t used to a man like Maxim.
He is protective and opinionated and expects April to follow his directions. Sparks fly as they disagree with each other because April doesn’t like to be told what to do.

I love everything Aurora Rose Reynolds writes. She knows how to write romance with alpha males who are demanding and protective, yet also sweet and willing to do anything for the woman they love. I also enjoyed the entertaining secondary characters, they add even more interest to the story. I listened to this story as an audiobook and I thought the narrators did a great job. Maxim and April are the perfect couple and I never wanted this story to end.

Until April is the tenth book in the Until Her/Him series by Aurora Rose Reynolds. This is the first book I've read in the series and found it easy to read as a standalone romance.

I really enjoyed this romance! The characters were engaging and likable. The story was fascinating and I was really drawn into it.

The romance is steamy and definitely NSFW!

The narration by Laura Jennings & Sebastian Grove was great! They were both engaging storytellers and I enjoyed listening to them!

I look forward to reading the other books in the series and can't wait to see what comes next! I definitely recommend this one!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I even loved the nonsense that a spiteful person pulled because the way it wound up being handled was gold. We aren’t playing with little boys here, folks. These are men who know how to get results without causing drama for those they love, and boy were there results! And yet, even with two different sources of danger and drama, this didn’t feel OTT at all. It felt more like life. Because let’s face it, problems don’t wait in line for their turn in reality. They pop up and cause chaos whenever they feel like doing so, which is exactly what happened here. But Maxim and April made it through everything thrown at them. They even managed to cause some chaos of their own (the felony!) and left me wishing for more time with them by the end of this book.

I loved the narrator and the audio book was SO good!

Give me alllll the smut! I’ve been on a deep dive for these high spice books and this one gave me everything I wanted and more. A sweet romance with plenty of spice. Not for the faint of heart but highly recommend

If you like short and sweet romances, this is the book for you. There was hardly any tension built up between the leads and to remedy that it seems like the author panicked and threw in a half-baked murder mystery subplot.
2/5 for the spicy scenes. They were very vanilla. If that's what you like, then good on you! However I'm more for a little more adventurous stuff (nudge nudge wink wink).
This book has taught me that if I read romance it has to be dark or taboo romance!
Worst part about this book was that the author blamed attempted murder on mental illness. The felony was just brushed off as "well she forgot to take her pills and her crazy just came out". Unimpressed.

UNTIL APRIL by Aurora Rose Reynolds is the latest book in the Until Series. I've read this series sporadically and I was excited to not only get back to this world but also to have the opportunity to try out a new audiobook. I'm happy to say that this story didn't disappoint and was engaging from beginning to end!

April Mayson has seen everyone around her get their happily ever afters and she doesn't think that will happen for her. She decided to stay clear of men after her last relationship with a rockstar ended when he wanted to focus all his time on his band.

She gets a surprise when she helps out a family friend looking to buy a house, and Maxim Kauwe turns her life upside down from the start. As a realtor, she knows how to handle tough clients, but Maxim is something else altogether.

Add to that her rockstar ex is telling anyone that will listen that he wants her back, a crazy person is killing realtors in the area, and Maxim just might be the man who's able to give her that HEA she's been longing for all this time.

So this one packed a punch. There was so much going on. But, it was handled well. I loved that April and Maxim had a bit of history although things never went far.

I wasn't fond of the serial killer angle and how that ended up and hated April's ex!

I enjoyed listening to this one audio. I preferred the male narrator but really thought both narrators did a great job of bringing the story to life.

UNTIL APRIL is book #10 in the Until Him/Her series and although I know there were lots of intricacies of family relations and backstory, I didn't feel like it detracted from the story. I can say that it made me want to get caught up with the other stories!

Really enjoyed this book. There is romance right from the start which surprised me. Even though their relationship was fast, they were committed to each other. The story was interesting and had elements of suspense throughout. Was a fun listen!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the audiobook. I voluntarily listened and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Until April is book 10 in the Until Her/Him series, which is the spinoff series of Aurora Rose Reynolds’ Until series. The only one I read is Until November (from the Until series) and I didn't read any other books in both series. Still, I didn’t feel lost but the other characters do appear so you might want to read the other books but I was okay reading it as a standalone.

This book is about April Mayson who worked hard to become a successful realtor and to live her best life. Until her first kiss and childhood friend, Maxim Kauwe, comes back into her life. She now has to deal with Maxim, her ex, and a potential serial killer on realtors on the loose.

Similar to Until November, the hero in that one was a bit problematic because of his extreme caveman behaviours. Now that I read this one as well, it seems like the author’s MO. Don’t get me wrong, I love alpha heroes and when they get obsessive and possessive with the heroine. However, the romance happened so randomly and right off the bat. Adding to Maxim’s alphaness/actions, it just rubbed me the wrong way and not to mention April is basically a doormat (she kept saying that she doesn’t like taking orders but then when the hero does, she kept using “following the flow” as excuses). The scene with Maxim and his brother is so childish and stupid (sorry not sorry).

The audiobook was good and the narrators did a good job!

Unfortunately I did not mesh well with the female narrators voice so I had to DNF this audiobook pretty quickly. The male’s was decent, but I did not click with the females and it felt very odd.

I really enjoy Aurora Rose Reynolds books and her “until” books especially. I will probably end up reading it on my own instead of the audiobook.

Until April (Until Her/Him #10) was a good read by Aurora Rose Reynolds.April Mayson has decided to put all her energy into her career and living her best life, and things are now better than ever. She’s asked to help out a family friend, Maxim Kauwe, and everything is about to change. She is now dealing with her ex, a famous musician who now decided he wants her back. She is also facing a potential serial killer. I really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.
