A very steamy erotic fantasy romance . The world building is really thought out and well done; it’s also impressive that the world building revolves around sex which makes the smutty romance plot lines easy to fit into the story OFTEN.

Overall, if you’re looking for a great high-fantasy story this may not be it but if you’re looking for a SPICY read pick it up now!

This was a great romance/fantasy story. It can be challenging to create a fantasy world that readers can still connect with and the author has absolutely done that here. There's action and suspense throughout and it keeps you turning the pages eager to see what's next!

Phenomenal read with well developed characters. A great balance between fantasy world-building and romance/smutty reading. A quick-paced read as well!

Ecstasy unbound by Setta Jay.
The Guardians of the Realms Volume 1.
As one of the twelve Guardians, Urian has spent the last several centuries in a constant battle to keep the inhabitants of Earth’s Realms under control. Humanity has to evolve, hell beasts need to die, and Immortals need mates. But lately, Uri's mind is overrun with thoughts of the sexy Demi-Goddess he’s forbidden contact with.
A really enjoyable read. Great story and characters. Alexandra was my favourite. I'm looking forward to the next book. 4*.

"You changed the rules Goddess, now you must pay the price."

I have a slight addiction to anything romance. May that be rom-coms, to full blown messed up, warning, not for the faint hearted, dark romance. It all depends on what type of mood I'm in (and I feel no shame)

I received an electronic ARC copy of Ecstasy Unbound by Satta Jay for an honest review. This is the first instalment of The Guardians of the Realm series. Ecstasy Unbound is a paranormal romance and comes with a warning page before you even hit chapter 1! If that doesn't intrigue you, I don't know what will.

Anyway, this book starts off by introducing us to Uri, one of the twelve most powerful immortals. He and is brothers who we later meet have been tasked to watch over the four realms of the world (hence the name of the series). Uri is guardian of the Earth Realm and his main duty is to hunt hell beasts and keep the humans under control. We however learn that he is keep one teeny tiny secret... he has a mild obsession with a human girl named Alex (mild might be putting it a bit lightly).

Alex, also known as Alexandra has the ability to transport into the minds of those who are in need of help. During a complicated mission Alex has to risk banishment by her own kind to seek out Uris help.

The one thing I really enjoyed about this book is the "mate bond" element. When Uri and Alex first meet, they don't fight the connection (like most PNRs). They instantly bond with a sizzling passion that required fireworks (yes, it is that good).

Overall, Satta Jay has done a brilliant job in creating a complex yet intriguing world with numerous paranormal characters and a consistent plot (which I know we all love). The only criticism I have is sometimes I forgot what certain words meant, BUT the glossary at the beginning really helped re-jog my memory.

I have rated this a solid 4/5 stars.

I highly recommend this for paranormal romance lovers, as this is one you will not be able to put down without swooning at least 1 million times
