I read this for Christmas in July and I didn't enjoy it that much. I want to say that its because it wasn't during the actual holiday season but I don't think that's it either I would pass on this one.

This is fat phobic garbage. I made it 6% of the way through the audiobook, which is only 3 1/2 hours and decided I’m done. Our fat character is a guy and for the first however long I’ve listen to now 30 minutes 45 it’s just he’s so down on himself and his weight and he ends up twitching his back. his brothers a doctor. Who says the only way you’re going to get better is to lose weight. Physical therapy is fine but you have to lose 15 to 20 pounds. Go see this personal trainer. Our main character thinks how can I go see this personal trainer they’re just thin and beautiful and no one‘s gonna want to see me as I’m fat and ugly and I don’t wanna be seen in a gym like that and I just I’m done . I wanted to like this book because I was enjoying the narrator but as a fat individual I don’t need to hear a book with her down on themselves over and over and over again if it could’ve been hey you need to exercise for muscle, gain or tone but no you need to lose weight and I’m I’m done this is not a holiday book I feel like finishing.

This book wasn't for me. There was not much character development. The story was overly sweet. I just couldn't get into it.

Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book via audio format.

This book was as sweet as a Christmas sugar cookie and the perfect holiday listen. The narration was wonderful (which can really make or break audio listening experiences for me) and I enjoyed the setting of the book, the magical holiday atmosphere, and the lovable characters.

If you enjoy Hallmark movies this is the book/audiobook for you!

If you like cheesy hallmark movies, this is for you! If you enjoy the lifetime movies that spam you around Christmas, all the better!

Preditable, yes. Corny, absolutely. But it was still like a cozy and warm hug for the holidays. A pleasant palate cleanser to read with your (spiked) hot cocoa by the fire.

I listened to this audiobook, and enjoyed the narrator- a narrator can make or break a story for me. This book is part of a series, which I had not realized until after I read it, so it can definitely be a standalone book. It was a nice and easy read, but I didn’t feel like there was really much to the plot (I tend to enjoy plot driven books).

If you are looking for a light, clean holiday romance, you might enjoy this one.

I received a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

While I typically enjoy Kelley's books, especially in audiobooks, this one fell a little flat for me. The plot was rushed and the characters weren't as well developed as they could have been. This was not Kelley's best, but I still look forward to her future novels.

Jingle Bell Jam
By Pamela Kelley

This story I found to be a lighthearted holiday treat. Brian is directed by his doctor to go see a personal trainer after a back injury to lose a couple of pounds. He makes an appointment with Melanie a new to town trainer at a new club. The attraction is immediate but they both fight it off. Melanie hires Brian, who is an architect to build her a house. The fire intensified but they feel like they can not indulge. This is a great love story that may be a little predictable but a joyful read.

Thank you to NetGalley and Piping Plover Press for the advanced copy of the audiobook for my honest review.

I have read and enjoyed Pamela Kelley's Beach Plum Cover series. SO when I saw this cute book I thought it would make a great easy holiday read.

Jingle Bell Jam is a sweet, small town love story about Bryan and Melanie. Him a slightly teddy bear shaped guy in need of a personal trainer, and her the personal trainer. Upon meeting there are sparks between the two but company policy says no dating clients. Add in a jealous ex and things get a little complicated.

Partway through reading this I felt like the characters should be more familiar to me, Pamela writes about them and then town like old friends. It felt as though the book was a part of a series. Turns out I was right! Jingle Bell Jam is part of a long series (63 books) put out by multiple authors. However, I didn't need to read the other books to fall right in to small town life with Bryan and Melanie.

All and all a quick but fun, easy holiday read!

Was such a cute book. I listened to this was really fast done in a day. Love the storyline didn’t stray front it and break of into to many different story lines. Small group of characters loved that.

Jingle Bell Jam
By Pamela Kelly
Narrated by Leslie Howard

Bryan Baker is a nice man with a voracious sweet tooth, Melanie is the personal trainer that is supposed to help him lose a few pounds after he hurts his back. When Bryan meets Melanie he thinks that no personal trainer will want him in the shape he is in. They start out as friends since there is a rule in the gym that personal trainers can not date clients. As a blizzard hits and they are stranded together they get to know each other better and there may be some slight sparks there. Then Melanie hires Bryan to design her new house and he has a strict no dating clients rule as well, but they keep being thrown together in different ways. Serious sparks fly but how will they overcome their obstacles?

I would highly recommend this book in audio or book format. It is a quick easy read/listen for the holiday season and goes into the New Years so could be read at anytime not just specifically for Christmas.

Yikes! I finished this one a while ago and forgot to review it. It was very cute and sweet and perfect for the Christmas time which was when I listened to it. Bryan and Melanie are friends in town but when Bryan hurts his back his doctor prescribes exercises and so he goes to Melanie for help since she is a personal trainer. They really do have so many sparks and want to see where those sparks go but mean-girl ex gets involved...BOOO...and with Melanie asking Bryan to help with designing her home now they really are working together on two fronts. How long will they be able to not cross those lines from just friends to more?

I was unable to download this audiobook in time as I didn't realize it was on my shelf. It was archived too quickly.

This was a really cute quick read. It's a wonderful winter Hallmark movie style story and the audiobook was narrated by the author. I really enjoyed it.

Not my favorite book, but also got cut off since it left my tablet before I was finished. So I will give only three stars, it could have possibly been four if I was able to finish it.

I love a good Netflix / Hallmark challenge Christmas movie style books I love cute little towns and Jingle Bell Jam seemed cute. I love the small town friendship vibes.
The story itself was cute, but there were multiple times the pacing was so weird. It was slower in spots that could have been left out and rush through times that really made the meat of the story. Because of the pacing, I did have a hard time shipping the main characters. They were cute, and I enjoy the female lead forwardness for dating, but it felt insta love. While I realize that "of course" because of the length and style of the book, but none the less I didn't get the full effect of the relationship.
The rest of the book was enjoyable. I did not love the male voices in from the narrator, but it was bareable. Very cute PG Christmas romance with the holiday spirit I am sure, like yourself, am looking for during the holidays!

Jingle Bell Jam was a fun and quick winter read leading up to the holidays. I enjoyed the novel and my only complaint with the book is something that is common in the genre - the characters didn’t seem to have chemistry. The story was cute and fun, but felt forced at times. Overall a nice book though! Thank you NetGalley for giving me access to this book in return for an honest review.

This was a fun, wintery audiobook complimentary of @netgalley . I was able to listen to it yesterday on a drive and it was the perfect length to consume in a few hours. If you like Hallmark, this would be for you. It’s predictable and cheesy but of course you end up loving the characters! I was invested in this unrealistic friends to lovers trope just because I’m a sucker for it. Love blossoms after being snowed in. It is a little angsty : oh he can’t possibly be interested in me: I’m not sure she’s my type and I don’t know if she would be interested in me anyway… that sort of thing. That part didn’t last long so for me it was worth finishing. Gotta love small towns! If you want to squeeze in one more Christmas season read , this is a quick one to enjoy! #netgalley #jinglebelljam #christmasread

I enjoyed this quick read, but wish that it had more themes of Christmas. The characters were engaging and I was able to listen to it in less than a day.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for a copy to honestly review.
