I listened to this book on audio, and it was a sweet little Christmas treat. The audio narrator was excellent, and it was a fun, short listen!

Bryan and Melanie’s romance is pretty straight forward - the story feels more like you’re enjoying the holiday season at the ranch, with the happy ending forthcoming. Honestly, in this busy season, I was completely okay with that! It was full of sweet moments and Christmas spirit… and sometimes we need an inevitable happy ending! Bryan and Melanie are both sweeties, and it’s easy to root for them.

It took me a bit to realize that it was actually a novella for a longer running series - so if you think she’s talking about extraneous characters a lot, it’s her checking in with characters longtime readers would recognize and enjoy.

Looking at it critically, I wish Amy was a bit more of an obstacle than she ended up being. And I was also a bit put off by the extreme emphasis in the beginning on Bryan’s need to diet. It felt a bit forced, and I didn’t love the diet push being so prominent in a Christmas story? That felt heavy handed. Personal preference, too, I wish there had been a touch more heat… but that’s just me lol!!

All in all, I marked this book initially 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4 for a great narrator for review purposes. I will likely pick up the first couple books in this series… I think it’s really fun that it’s a series written by multiple authors!

I’d recommend this as a sweet, short holiday read if you want to get into the holiday spirit!!!

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the sending me this audiobook in return for an honest review!

I received this book from Netgalley.

This was a very cute holiday romance. Perfect for this time of year. It was short and sweet. Would have loved the story to be a bit longer, but overall I really liked the characters. The only problem I had was that there were a lot of characters and this felt like it was a sequel. After looking I don't see a book before it, so it must have just been me. I just felt like there was a lot of back stories I was supposed to know. Other than that the story was good. Again, just would have liked a little more back story. If you are looking for a short holiday read, this book is for you.

Very cute, short and sweet story. Any hallmark lovers go to! Great read to break up some heavy books as well!

Pamela Kelley writes feel good, wholesome, clean books with everyday characters that you would like to have as your neighbor or friends. This story focuses on Bryan Baker who joins a gym to get in better shape and Melanie who works for the gym and is his personal trainer. The story itself if fine with likable characters but I knew from how many names were being mentioned that this was part of an ongoing series. It turns out it is #32 of 64 books in a series created by Kelley and a few other authors in a fictional Idaho setting. I've not read any of the others books to know how much the characters and stories overlap.

This is a shorter (170 page) Christmas story and I listened to the audio book. Leslie Howard does a great job with the narration and I've enjoyed her before with Kelley's Nantucket Beach series. I would have enjoyed this being a longer novel. It felt like I barely got going in the lives of the characters and it was over. Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for a audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Super cute but very short. Pamela Kelley is known for her romances set in idyllic towns and this is no exception. All of the snow made for a cozy setting for Bryan and Melanie and I enjoyed getting to know them. I just wish this had been longer as there was potential there to really build up their relationship and the ending was definitely rushed.

So this one was very cutesy. I requested it thinking it would be super Christmasy, and it wasn't. Which isn't a dealbreaker. But this was just so... cute. Not much else.

Aside from getting the twins confused, Melanie and Melissa, it was easy to follow and not much concentration to keep up. The only thing was that... nothing happened? I didn't know this was a book in a series of like 100 books! I wish I would have known that because it definitely felt like it was in the middle of a series, and this was a small puzzle piece in the giant puzzle.

Overall the ending was rushed, which was odd because this is a super short book. The author had room to continue and not make it feel forced or rushed, so that was a bit interesting.

This is what I call a "goal book". If you need a quick read that isn't completely terrible, this would be perfect for reaching your goal.

A cute and very sweet Christmas romance novella. Bryan loves to eat especially after his back injury, and Melanie runs a fitness studio at River's End Ranch (Ranch & Resort in Riston, Idaho) and is his personal trainer. They aren't supposed to date, but there's so much spark between the two! Ugh, small town and the ex, the ex is not very friendly.

"Jingle Bell Jam" is a clean holiday romance. I feel a bit overwhelmed with the ending. I don't want to spoil it, but maybe if the book was longer it wouldn't feel as rushed. Overall, a festive and happy little read!

Omg, I didn't know this is a part of a very long series (63 books), and "Jingle Bell Jam" is #32. There are a total of 8 authors, interesting! This is available on KU.

Thank you Piping Plover Press and Netgalley for an audio copy for review.

I struggled with this one, honestly. The ending felt rushed, unnecessary, and unrealistic. The characters went from 0 to 100 in the span of a few weeks and I couldn't get behind it. I also didn't like how often Bryan's weight was brought up. We get it. You mentioned in the beginning that he was a little overweight. I don't need to be reminded 17 more times. I also felt there were unnecessary characters thrown in, but I had no idea before I read it that it is part of a long-standing series, so that's my fault there. Another thing that bothered me was that I didn't really feel the passion between Bryan and Amy. It felt more like they should be close friends. Overall, this will be a good read for people who like lighter reads that are more wholesome than passionate.

This was a great book!!! My heart felt so warm as I read this book and I really felt as though I was in the middle of a Hallmark movie. Melanie and Bryan’s relationship was admirable and I rooted for them!

This is the sweet Christmas romance that you didn't know you were waiting for! Excellent narration helps bring the characters to life enhancing their well-written personalities as well as the well-crafted plot. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this one was picked up to be a Hallmark movie soon as it fits perfectly for readers (watchers) that love a Merry Happily Ever After! In a way it's the under-dog gets the girl type of story, when in reality he was the perfect guy all along. I really love the characters and will be heading off to read more books or rather listen to more books by this author soon!

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. I usually enjoy Pamela Kelley's books but I found this book to wrap up a little too neatly for me. I love the narrator for her books though

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the audio version. Meh... Not sure how I feel about this book. It is a very fast easy read or listen to. The story is just okay, if you are into cheesy Hallmark type books this is perfect for you.

A fun, quick holiday read with the makings of a Hallmark movie. Bryan, a contractor, needed to lose a few lbs an hired Melanie, a personal trainer to help. She in turn hired him to design a d build a home for her. A wonderful love story develops with a happy ever after.

It is my first by Pamela Kelly but I will be reading more!

The narration by Leslie Howard was great! She really brought the story to life.

This is a cute story that really got me into the holiday spirit!

It had a good wholesome feel and the characters were very likeable. The added "complications" of not dating clients added a bit of a challenge for the romance between Melanie and Bryan. The issues of sabotaging the gym made for a mini mystery of sorts as well.

I know that it was a short book, but would have loved the romance to not be so quick at the end. The build up to the romance was great though.

This was a fun cozy audiobook that I could totally see being made into a Christmas movie.

Cute and sweet holiday story about Brian, who is in need of a personal trainer after injuring his back and comfort eating after a breakup, and Melanie, said personal trainer who is new in town and someone Brian thinks is out of his league. When they start working out together, the sparks fly and they want to be together, except his ex is doing all she can to sabotage it after seeing how good he looks now. Can Melanie and Brian overcome all the obstacles in their way and find true love and a happily ever after?
This was fairly short (I listened to it in under 2 hours) and super Hallmark movie-ish and just right for a holiday read.
Thanks to Piping Plover Press and Netgalley for this Arc in exchange for my review.

This is a lifetime holiday movie in book form. She's a personal trainer, and she can't date clients. He's in construction, and he can't date clients. He becomes her client and he becomes hers. Romance sparks fly....but they can't act on them. It was simple and fairly short, but enjoyable. I enjoyed the narration and feel like the tone and rhythm of the audiobook was nice. A fairly straightforward and predictable tale, but a pleasant holiday romance.

Cute Little holiday read, but not a lot of individual character development. Moved very fast from the beginning of the relationship to where the book needed (no spoilers).

This was my first book by this author. It was just okay. It was extra super sweet. Maybe a little sweeter than I like my romances. It was well written with just enough conflict to help the story along. It was a fast read--just a few hours. Huge thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review this book.

Overall a very enjoyable holiday romance! I think the main characters had a great relationship which it made it easy to root for them. I do wish the plot didn’t tie up so quickly at the end.
