A lengthy novel that likes to hear itself talk, with a touch of hysteria that tends to counter-act the social commentary re political corruption and power grabbing as well as sexism (hello, Rodrigo Duterte).

A fun concept that wears out its welcome by the end. I loved the faux-reality that this book sets up and the verbatim transcript idea is a neat one... but it wears on the reader after a while, just like reading actual unedited transcripts might. If this had been half the length, it might've been perfect; as it was, it was enjoyable but ultimately disappointing.
