This cute devotional for boys ages five to eight includes twenty-six boy-sized “blessings”. Older readers may be able to manage the text on their own while the littlest of the crowd will need a parent to read the blessing, scripture, and “brave choice”. Each read-aloud includes an adorable illustration. Of course, this book is best enjoyed while cuddling. It would be a perfect Valentine’s Day or Easter gift.

I can't wait to share this book with my son and nephews. These are short and sweet, with a brief message about who God is and what He does, a short prayer (like one or two sentences), and a Bible verse. The devotionals are easy to digest for young readers. I like that it's specifically written for bedtime. Mornings are busy, and I have a hard time finding time for my own devotion. Bedtime has a built-in time for reading and praying, so it fits great.
