This is great book and educational for all kids and adults who read it. It must be very hard for children with celiac disease to feel normal but reading this book makes them seem powerful!

This was a cute story about a girl struggling with Celiac and how she learns to live with it despite all the struggles it comes along with.
The characters were charming and Lila me and the illustrations are adorable.
I’ve got a couple friends whose children also struggle with Celiac and it’ll make the perfect gift for them once it is published!

Summary: "Violet used to love birthday parties, but now that she has celiac disease, she's not allowed to eat pizza, cake, or anything else with gluten. Violet feels alone until she discovers that some animals have dietary restrictions as well. While standing up for her animal friends, she realizes she can do the same for herself. And when it's time to celebrate Violet's birthday, there isn't a single gluten-containing crumb in sight! Filled with pluck and humor, this informative story provides a great opportunity to discuss this increasingly common condition with children who have celiac disease and gluten intolerance as well as those who know people who have it and are seeking to learn more about it."
Violet and the Crumbs: A Gluten-Free Adventure is a wonderful and essential children's book and brings awareness to celiac disease. Violet deals with her diagnosis but shows perseverance in creating a "new normal" for herself and those around her.
It's uplifting, hopeful, and embodies a more profound message of self-acceptance and health.
Every child should read this, and it should be in schools to bring awareness to learn more about celiac disease and gluten intolerance.

This is a book that would be really good to start a discussion with children. It explains so simply about what gluten intolerance is, and the challenges for children who have to be careful not to eat gluten. It's really relatable in the way that they start from the point of view of animals. Although it is written as a short story, much of the book is a collection of facts and information that is presented in a very clear way.

A must read and a must have to make ourselves more aware and informed about Celiac Disease.
The storybook gives a complete representation of a girl having the said condition and how she struggles each day when it comes to her strict diet without gluten. It also focuses on how people react and misunderstanding the condition.
I love how action oriented the book is. I love the illustrations as well.
A must read I repeat.
Thank you, North South Books Inc and the author/artist, for the advance reading copy.
