LOVE IT!!!!! Wine and cookies and the perfect meet cute--getting stuck in the elevator! Especially after singing the wrong words to Christmas carols. Yes, I laughed out loud to that one! Hannah and Gage are perfect for this pair. Both are not really looking forward to the season, both for different reasons but now that it is here they devise a plan to be fake boyfriend/girlfriend for the holidays to keep Gage's mom and sisters from setting him up with every single woman in their sights. What will happen with fake turns to more? I so loved this story and once I started it I could not put it down. Be prepared to settle in and finish this one with a smile on your face!

#HisForTheHolidays:
This was such a fun and sweet holiday romance. We get force proximity (stuck in an elevator), fake date, and a bit of grumpy sunshine. Sprinkle a little cookie decorating and the over 55 community living life. we get the most wonderful story.
His For The Holidays is fairly short, but hits the right amount in pacing. I finished this in one day and I really enjoyed Gage and Hannah’s chemistry. It seemed organic, and it was really fun watching them interact. I also enjoyed that we got interaction from both families so we could get a better picture of our characters.
Overall, a fun, low steam, but sweet, quick read. His for the Holidays is out today! This is my first @samanthachaseromance, but definitely not my last.

Chase knows how to make a heart smile. With a sprinkling of humor, a pinch of heart and some tempting romance. His for the Holidays delivers all three. Hannah and Gage bring delight to a not so delightful year. They are proof that love can prevail in any scenario, even the awkward ones. Brighten up the soul by adding more than a little love to your heart.

Thanks to Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for the audio ARC of this!
This was a cute, fun little holiday novel. I loved the setting - Gage's Mom's apartment in the 55+ community, where all the residents "compete" over the exciting news that they have to share about their families - weddings, babies, etc, was so cute. The ending felt a little bit rushed, and the grand gesture felt a little weird to me (and honestly, potentially dangerous to the other people in the complex?) but overall I enjoyed the experience and the narration was well done.

This audiobook was a sweet, cute story perfect for the holidays or anytime of the year.
Hannah Christy and Gage Lawson get stuck in their condo’s elevator. Trapped in close quarters gives them a chance to share a little of their lives and Hannah’s cookies and wine. When Gage concocts a plan of having Hannah act as his “pretend girlfriend”, Hannah is not in favor of it. But after meeting his family, she agrees.
What started as “make believe”, eventually seems to become real. But Hannah has yet to tell Gage she has a new job that will take her away.
Add Gage’s family, his Mom’s over 55 condo community and the Christmas festivities, and you end up with a very entertaining story.
