Such an interesting book that takes a look at how people sometimes think of themselves in a different way than they are seeing. I really did enjoy the romance and a couple was one that I rooted for from start to finish.

I liked this, but definitely not as much as the previous two in the series. There was something just, unbelievable about this story? Eliza didn’t quite feel like a therapist and Beck had a storyline that didn’t quite ….fit? Or felt rushed? I don’t know.

But regardless, it was sweet, it was emotional, bits were relatable, and I definitely will always read what comes from Roni’s head. I also loved the cameos of our two previous heroines and spending time with them.

The audio was great, I flew through this quickly (minus that brief few weeks when Libby took it back from me) and this series (this book included) will always hold a special place in my heart.

What a great book! Roni Loren is an autobuy writer to me and this series is truly fantastic. This one has everything, it's funny, the MC are charming, there's some mental health issues that gives the book depth... And the love story is really cute. On top of it all, it's easy to read. I've love it.

This summary isn't really what I like to read, but the emotional turning point was definitely something I didn't see coming!

I have so ADORED this series by Roni Loren.

However, this one is probably my least favorite.

I had a difficult time connecting with the characters and the whole thing felt stilted and didn't flow as well as the other books in the series have.

*I volunteered to read this book for my honest feedback.

"For You and No One Else" by Roni Loren is the latest addition to the series, and while it may not be a favorite for some readers, it still delivers on the emotional depth and steamy romance that Roni Loren is known for.

One of the central themes in the book is the exploration of complicated characters going through challenging times, a hallmark of Loren's writing. Beckham, our hero, is grappling with religious trauma, a theme that some readers felt deserved more page time. It's true that this aspect of his character is resolved somewhat hastily, leaving a desire for more in-depth exploration. The arrival of someone from his past adds an interesting twist, though it's introduced towards the end of the story, leaving readers eager to see how it unfolds further, especially for Jess.

The age gap between the protagonists, Eliza and Beckham, is mentioned in the reviews, but some readers found it to be a minor issue as both characters are in their mid-20s and early 30s. Eliza's constant references to the age gap might have felt unnecessary to some, given their relative closeness in age and maturity. This is a minor point in the narrative but one that may stand out to readers.

Eliza, a therapist who initially appears as a "hot mess," is an intriguing character who undergoes significant development throughout the story. Some readers expressed concerns about her portrayal potentially discouraging those considering therapy, as they might expect a more composed therapist. However, Eliza's growth and personal journey are vital aspects of the story, showcasing that even therapists have their own battles to fight.

The "meet-cute" between Eliza and Beckham is described as cringey by some readers, but it sets the stage for an unexpected friendship that evolves into a friends-with-benefits situation and eventually into a heartfelt romance. While this trope may not be a favorite for all, it adds a layer of complexity to their relationship.

One critique mentioned by reviewers is the delayed reveal of crucial information about a character's past. This approach can be polarizing, and while it provides a significant plot twist, some readers may prefer to have had this revelation earlier in the narrative.

On a positive note, "For You and No One Else" is commended for its charm, humor, and the multi-layered depth of its characters. Roni Loren once again proves her talent for crafting stories with emotional depth and sizzling chemistry. Despite the minor issues some readers encountered, the story is engaging and offers a satisfying blend of humor and romance.

The reviews mention a combination of reading and listening to the book, with a nod to the talented narrator, Desiree Ketchum, who consistently delivers a top-notch performance throughout the series.

In conclusion, "For You and No One Else" by Roni Loren may not be the strongest installment in the series for some readers, but it still provides an emotionally charged and entertaining romance. The characters' growth and the author's ability to create depth in their interactions make this a book worth diving into, especially if you're a fan of Loren's signature blend of emotion and steamy scenes.

I really liked this book. It was sexy, sweet, touching. I loved that it was a younger man and an older woman. I loved the friendship they had and how they accepted each other for exactly how they are. I’m excited to read the others in the series.

Team 'Christmas Sucks'

Starring team members Eliza Catalano, therapist, and Beckham Carter, game designer, neighbours in a shared workspace who end up working in adjoining spaces on Christmas Day and, since they are alone, sharing more personal things than expected, such as that Eliza's parents died two years earlier in a car crash and that Beckham is estranged from his own parents. And now that they know intimate things about each other, Eliza's idea of adopting a puppy for her therapy and asking Beckham to join her just seems like a natural thing to do - I mean why not spend Christmas doing something completely different?

That's how this romance starts and it's a roller coaster ride of emotions, an older woman (early thirties) / younger man (mid-twenties) , opposites attract story that deals with grief (especially around the holidays) and mental health and family issues. It's a sexy, thought-provoking, thoroughly enjoyable read and a reminder of what a powerful writer Roni Loren is. Highly recommended.

I admit I hadn't ready the two previous books in this series (although I'm not sure my opinion would change), but I found the characters, especially the therapist very unbelievable. I did finish this one but it was a struggle and just not for me.

I adore this series. This is book 3 and may have been my favorite. The characters were all so great. I loved that the author brings characters from previous books into the new book. It adds an extra layer.

Also the spice level is high but tastefully done.

This is the third book in the series, and it was so good! If you haven’t read this series yet, you need to. This can be read as a stand-alone, but is better as part of the series. There is workplace romance, friends to lovers, funny animals, and so much more! I highly recommend checking it out!

This book was just sadly not for me! I was hoping for something different but it turned out to be something I was not expecting, which is okay and I'm sure someone else would love it!

This is my third Roni Loren books and I haven't been disappointed yet. Her books have a way of being steamy but also the plot doesn't get lost. I love recognizing characters from her other books so I can keep tabs on them as well :D. Her books are so quick and entertaining to read and For You & No One Else was no exception!

This is probably my least favorite of the series but I still really enjoyed it. I like how Roni Loren writes complicated characters going through difficult times but Beckham’s story felt like it needed more. When someone from his past arrives, it’s near the end of the story and wrapped up nicely (god, I hope Jess gets a HEA!). Religious trauma is worth a lot more pages in my opinion. I suppose he “dealt with” it off page, before he met Eliza, but I would have liked him to talk to her about it sooner.

The age gap in this story was quite small (mid 20s & early 30s), I don’t know why Eliza kept bringing it up as if he was just a baby and she was a great grandma when they were pretty close in age and maturity. I didn’t think Eliza really gave her no phone experiment a real chance because she folded into Beckham so easily, what about just doing activities on your own? As a therapist who brings up her age as “old” all the time, I’d think she’d have more ideas for how to spend time away from social media.

I’ll be looking for another Roni Loren book to devour soon, an author really good at delivering a story with both emotional depth AND great smut.

Both alone on Christmas, Eliza and Beck strike up a friendship while neither was looking for it. I liked how a reluctant friendship turned into them being able to do and say things around each other they may not have with other people. They had wonderful chemistry as friends, so it was easy to root for them to turn it into more.

As much as I liked Beck, it was difficult for me to read about Eliza’s struggles and have him push her to meet his needs rather than meeting somewhere they could both be happy. His complicated past meant she needed to settle for less than she deserved, and I did not want her to. Just as I was starting to settle into the book and their relationship, Eliza and Beck hit a predictable bump and then it wrapped up almost too neatly. It was a somewhat abrupt ending.

While there were moments that made me laugh and those that were heartfelt, I needed a more solid ending to give it the 4 stars I was hoping it would be. (3.5 stars rounded to 4 stars)

Roni Loren's "For You & No One Else" is a heartwarming and engaging romance novel that will resonate with readers who are looking to find their true selves. Eliza's character is relatable and realistic, and readers will root for her as she confronts her fears and learns to embrace the imperfections that make her who she is. Beck's character is equally compelling, and the chemistry between the two leads is electric.

Loren's writing style is engaging and easy to read, and she does an excellent job of weaving together the various elements of the story. The themes of self-discovery and authenticity are explored in a way that feels organic and genuine, and the romance is sweet and satisfying.

Overall, "For You & No One Else" is a delightful and uplifting romance novel that will leave readers feeling happy and hopeful. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a feel-good read that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.

Ich fand es okay. Es konnte mich leider weniger begeistern. Vielleicht war ich einfach nicht in der richtigen Stimmung.

Roni Loren has a knack for writing real, relatable characters with issues to work through. While there are some issues, there is also growth, healing, and a strong connection formed between the main characters.

Eliza and Beck had so much chemistry even when they were professing they just wanted to be friends. It was easy to see their connection went far past just physical attraction, though. I loved how they opened up to one another and how straightforward their communication often was.

For You & No One Else and the entire Say Everything series are wonderful reads. I can't recommend this series enough!

Perfect addition to the series!

Roni creates such endearing characters everything about them is so well done. The relationship between the two MCs may be the strongest of the series which is saying something. Their communication style is something rarely seen in romance these days and it was beyond refreshing. More open communication please!

The depth and humour was also fantastically balanced.

The rep in general was out of this world and I cannot wait to read what Loren does next!
