A nice addition to this contemporary adult romance series, but not the strongest in the series. Eliza is a therapist, but her own life is not what she imagined. Still hurting from her parents' death years earlier, Eliza is lonely and looking for love, family, and to settle down. When he meets Beck who works in the same building, a friendship grows quickly. After Eliza is humiliated on a date and the video goes viral, she decides to go offline. Beck helps her in seeing what she can experience without social media and dating sites. As Eliza searches for the perfect future, she begins to realize Beck just might be who she is looking for, but he is hiding something from his past.

Loren is great at writing a slowburn romance with chemistry that you can feel. This was a quick read that hits the itch for a fun contemporary read about 20/30-somethings, but also addresses dealing with the past, grief, and mental health. At times, the writing is a bit cringey, though, and a little cheesy. But sometimes, that is what you are looking for in a rom-com.

Eliza may work as a therapist and run a wellness YouTube channel on the side, but on the inside she’s just as much a mess as the rest of us. As busy as she is with her online presence, she resorts to dating apps to help her meet people. But after a date goes terribly wrong and she ends up going viral in an unflattering way, she turns to her computer savvy office neighbor, Beckham. Not only does he help her out of a difficult situation, but he poses an interesting challenge. Would Eliza have better luck meeting a partner if she put herself through a digital detox? No social media, no carefully curated image? What could go wrong?

I love this series so, so much and For You & No One Else is no exception. The premise of a digital detox and the plot that follows felt a little out there, but incredibly relevant for the social media based world we live in. It played with the power of perception and our curated performances for other people versus our messy authentic selves.

I also loved how much maturity and honest communication was shown, not only between the MCs, but between the ancillary characters as well. It felt so indulgent reading these healthy relationships play out on the page. But just because the communication was open, it didn’t mean the crisis was any less angsty. This book asked the question: how do two people with chemistry find their path to one another when they fundamentally want different things?

Thank you so much to @netgalley @soursebook for the eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Thank you Roni, NetGalley, and Sourcebooks for the eARC of "For You and No One Else"

From the outside, Eliza has the perfect life. But if you actually knew her, you'd know she's far from perfect. Insert co-worker Beck, who has his own secrets. The two start off keeping each other company on Christmas, but quickly become friends. When Eliza becomes viral for a date gone wrong, Beck puts his IT skills to use. If Eliza can stay off social media for 6 months, Beck will teach her how to date in the "real world". Seems like the perfect opportunity, until things between them become more. Beck's own secrets come to haunt him, forcing Eliza to look at her own life, and what she really can settle for.

First off, Roni Loren is CoHo 2.0. I've been saying this for awhile, and I just love Roni's writing style. She knows how to bring you in, destroy your emotions, and then bring you back up. I loved how Eliza and Beck came together under unconventional circumstances and that they both had things they needed to sort through. Two flawed people coming together to heal and grow is just a beautiful thing. I absolutely loved this book.

If you haven't read any of Roni Loren's books, you better get on it! I just finished the third book in her Say Anything series and it was so good!!

For You & No One Else follows Eliza's journey to love. I loved Eliza in the previous book and was so excited for her story! She is a therapist and Roni did a great job of giving a realistic view of what the job is like. I adored Beckham, her love interest. I'm a sucker for a tattooed MC. 🤷🏼‍♀️🔥 There is a lot of steam, Star Wars banter, and rescue animals in this book and I was here for it.
⭐⭐⭐⭐

All three in the series can be read as standalones but I recommend reading them all! ❤ My favorite is still What If You & Me. 💕

Eliza is struggling to carve the life she "vision-boarded" when she was younger. As a therapist who touts independence and self-reliance while portraying herself as a happy woman living her best life on her social media pages and YouTube channel, Eliza finds it difficult to take her own advice. So when she finally meets her office neighbor, hot-nerd Beckham, she decides to seize the opportunity to go where life takes her. Beckham is all to aware of Eliza's perfectly curated list for her future self -- and the fact that he doesn't fit into that picture -- but there's something about her that he feels drawn to. Having left a life of strict rules and moral guilt, Beckham has made it his life's mission to guard his privacy and never let anyone in too deep. That is, until Eliza. Both Eliza and Beckham forge a friendship based on the comfort that they don't have to put on a fake facade for one another, and realize that maybe all of their carefully made plans don't mean anything without that someone who makes those plans worth it.

Thoughts: I absolutely loved Roni Loren's The Ones Who Got Away series -- she is able to dive deep into heavy themes and subjects while still creating a swoon-worthy romance. So I was excited to get a DRC for this book, the last in her newest series. (Full disclosure: I did not read the previous books in this series but that did not detract from this story.) I enjoy that Loren chooses to tackle heavy topics in the romance genre... There are only so many "fluffy" rom-coms I can read, you know? Loren has a knack for raising the steam level while also having complicated characters that readers will find themselves easily invested in. I love that she can bring the drama and the romance at the same time -- like Nicholas Sparks on steroids. For You & No One Else features two deeply scarred characters who are incredibly resilient yet find themselves weak for one another. Loren easily cuts to the chase of what love means and how to look past society's view of perfection and what a relationship should look like while also allowing her characters moments of introspection that continue to shape them throughout the story. I also really liked the chemistry between the two characters, both as friends and as lovers. My only issue is that, given the deep issues within this story, the ending was too neatly wrapped up for me. I enjoy a HEA but I think there were a few possibilities that could've been explored that still allowed for the HEA. But otherwise, this was a beautiful novel and I can't wait to go back and read the first two in the series.

**Thank you, NetGalley and publishers, for a DRC in exchange for an honest review.**

Alone on Christmas, Eliza and Beckham form an instant bond. Despite their attraction to each other, they decide they're better off as friends. But after a video of Eliza's disastrous date ends up online, Beckham convinces her to get rid of all social media distractions and live in the present. As the two spend more time together, the sparks are hard to ignore, so they decide to hook up, just to get it out of their systems. What neither counts on are real feelings forming that neither can ignore.

For You & No One Else is the perfect ending to the Say Everything series. I have loved being immersed in this world with the characters and it's so sad that the series is ending. This book gave me glimpses into previous characters and where they are now and the epilogue beautifully wrapped everything in the pretty bow that I knew I needed.

Author Roni Loren has a knack for writing real, relatable characters. I loved Eliza's character. Strong yet sensitive, she is a true believer in happily ever after and won't settle for less. As a therapist, she holds herself to a higher standard because of her profession, which was extremely relatable for me. After going on a social media hiatus, Eliza realizes she has a false sense of connection living life mainly online, instead of enjoying the present. She allows Beckham to push her outside of her comfort zone daily and I loved the personal growth journey she went on throughout the book.

Beckham is such a mystery for most of the book, and I loved how he hid behind hacking and his tattoos. Despite not wanting a real relationship, he can't hide his attraction for Eliza. Throughout the book, she pushes him to reconsider his stance of happily ever after, even despite his traumatic childhood. The pair have great banter and I loved how nerdy they were with each other, watching Star Wars. Trent the cat is my hero and I loved the addition of his comedic timing.

For You & No One Else is an age gap, friends to lovers steamy romance. While I am not normally a fan of friends to lovers, this book just works and I truly loved it. The book shows that anyone can find true love despite hardships and past trauma. There are some unexpected topics and themes that are brought up in the book. Please take care to read the content warnings if you are interested prior to reading. I don't want to give anything away!

When I say that I am blown away by a book, this book is at the top of the list, and it has to be the best Roni Loren book I have ever read. She manages to get a lot of important topics into a book that relates to a lot of women. Most of the time we have this picture in our head what we want our future to look like, we try to follow it, but something/someone gets put in our lives that realize that what we have now is fate. Eliza and Beck are that for each other.

Beck had a difficult childhood which he got out of but he left with a lot of emotional issues. He vowed to never get married or have any children. However, Eliza the therapist who works next door changes all of that. She even convinces him to adopt a cat, who essentially has adopted him.

Eliza picks all the wrong guys, guys she thinks is going to fit the mold she thinks she wants. After a bad date and an embarrassing video later, she takes Beck's advice and disconnects from social media to meet a man the old fashion way. She isn't expecting for fate to step in and that man is already standing in front of her.

This book has so many twists and turns, ups and downs, emotions at every corner so be prepared for the roller coaster ride. But it is soo worth it.

The story of Eliza and Beck - opposites attract. I liked how it is told from both points of view.
A great read, can't wait for more from this author.

Loren really knocked it out of the park with the 3rd (and presumably final) book in her Say Everything series. Eliza is a marriage therapist and YouTube wellness guru at WorkAround, the shared office space where we first met her in Book 1. She’s best friends with Hollyn and Andi from the first two books, but it’s her budding relationship with Beckham, the hot, nerdy computer wizard in the office next door, that is the focus of For You and No One Else.

On the surface, they’re an odd pairing. She created her life plan at age 10 (including a husband and 2.5 kids) and is still mourning the loss of her parents who died in a car accident 2 years prior. Beckham, 7 years her junior, dresses in vintage t-shirts, is covered in tattoos, and is a hacker (usually on the legal side). However, after running into each other in the office on Christmas Day and him recognizing that she needs company more than he needs to work, they begin to see in each other a kindred spirit. Since he’s anti-marriage and kids, they both know their relationship will never go anywhere, but they agree to a friends with benefits arrangement after she has one last disastrous date arranged through an app. Of course, this trope plays out as you’d expect, but the emotional gut punch sets it apart from other similar scenarios.

In addition to her grief and unwavering commitment to stick to her plan, they’re also (mis)handling his baggage which includes childhood trauma that he thought he’d escaped. Ultimately, the question comes down how well you can know a person when they’re hiding a big part of themselves.

Loren writes romance laced with some heavy real-life challenges, but her characters are so warm and open that you can’t help but root for a happy ending. Although the themes in this book are heavy, there’s plenty of humor, a couple of really adorable pets, and the female friendship between the heroines of all three books that keep it from sinking into despair. I highly recommend the entire series.

A beautiful conclusion to the “Say Anything“ trilogy and a friends with benefits romance about an idealistic therapist named Eliza falling for her much younger co-worker Beckham. Swoony and crammed with issues on mental health awareness, this is an angsty love story that talks about cults, therapy, and finding happiness in unexpected places, an achingly good romance about two lonely souls finding their unlikely match.

Eliza just wants to fall in love and get married, but when she meets Beckham, Eliza decides to throw caution to the wind and have a “friends with benefits“ arrangement because Beck doesn’t beleive in marriage. The only problem is Eliza doesn’t want to go on dates with anyone else. Beckham is comforting and feels like home, but it’s just too bad he doesn’t believe in marriage.

The easy friendship between Eliza and Beck is believable and hard won. I adore the way Loren includes pets in a good portion of the book and spent a lot of time talking about “hangups“ and how our past can shape our future relationships. This whole series is a delight and if you’re looking for romance that pairs serious topics with funny moments this is the perfect series to binge.

I love this series overall, but I'll still consider this book 3.5 stars (after other reviews quantified my thoughts), rounded up to 4.
First, there was so little reference to Eliza's heritage, other than a potential date rapist--at the 15% mark, let's just get that out there now as a CW--referring her to as a "sexy Latina." I'm not looking for a stereotype of the huge Latin family that goes with said heritage, noisy, meddling and into food--but there's got to be something other than looks, otherwise there was no need to mention it.

As for Beck, let's just say that a strict family upbringing like the one he had may be good for setting up his whole analog life philosophy opposite Eliza's tech addiction, but beyond that it has to mess you up more than what we saw here--or rather, are allowed to see here. Perhaps Beck DID overcome a lot of it--although I still don't think it would be enough to feel comfortable with a "friends-with-benefits" lifestyle, but that's just me--but we're told his whole hidden history late in the game as an afterthought, thereby making his angry outburst at Eliza over something that really could divide them (the contrivance more than three-quarters into the book) look so hypocritical on his part. It was a needle scratch on the record that was hard to come back from fully.

Still, the story was engaging enough to hold my attention, and I love Loren's talent for tackling troubling topics as part of a romantic story. And I liked the epilogue that brought closure to this series.

It had been awhile since reading the first two books in this series, so I honestly forgot who Eliza was. That really didn't matter, I was fully sucked into the story even without the memory of her character. Beck was a great character -- my only complaint was that I wish there was more time spent on his background. It was such an interesting life he had, I feel like we barely got a taste of the trauma he went through. My other complaint is that their issue was resolved in about 2 seconds. It just didn't feel like a realistic turn around time for the betrayal and angst they were both feeling. Otherwise, this was a very solid read. I enjoyed their relationship and how it grew. I don't think Roni Loren has put out a bad book!

Thank you to the author, Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is the third in a series, of which I read the first and somehow missed the second book, but this can easily be read as a stand-alone. As in the other book I have read by this author, she again does a fantastic job of introducing us to two characters with real-life issues, and getting the reader invested in their stories. Mental health is at the center of the story, and the author has a deft, sensitive and at the same time matter-of-fact way of approaching the topic -without using it as a crutch for character development. Very much recommend - now I must be off to track down the second book in the series!

Slow burn romance with a lot of spice. I loved the dynamic between both Beck and Eli and really enjoyed watching their love grow throughout the book.

Roni Loren…I LOVE this series!! You are an autobuy author for me now 💜

This is book three of the Say Everything series and I have torn through all three of them each time I picked one up.

The characters are all very real and believable. I have become so invested in the outcome of their stories and wish they would never end. The women are strong and brilliant, and the men are caring and supportive.

The writing itself is full of the perfect amount of humor and depth. It made me laugh and cry, and that’s really all I can ask for in a novel.

Roni, I know this is a three book series, but I wouldn’t be mad if a certain ex wife and a character whose name rhymes with Bill maybe had a story 🤷🏻‍♀️😍 because I would read that in one sitting as well!

Thank you to @sourcebookscasa and @netgalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review!

Roni Loren’s books have a unique feel that’s completely “hers.” Her books just hit my heart in a particular way, and I walk away with my spirit a little lighter and my eyes a little brighter. I thought after What If You & Me, she’d arrived. It was perfect. Where could she go from there? But then I picked up For You & No One Else, and I have it admit—Roni Loren has done it again.

Eliza is a successful therapist and an up and coming social media influencer, focusing on heath and wellness. In theory, she should have her life together. She does not, in fact, have her life together. Online dating has only led to bad dates and embarrassing anecdotes, and she’s trying really hard not to have inappropriate feelings for Beck Carter who rents the office next to hers—the much younger, tattooed, tech guy next door.

Alone on Christmas, she heads to the office to discover she isn’t the only one who didn’t have plans. She and Beck head to the animal shelter on a complete whim and each head home with a new friend—Eliza with Mabel, a sweet older dog, and Beck with Trent, a cantankerous cat overlord. After a few fits and starts, they solidify their friendship. After a viral video threatened to tank her career, Beck saves the day with his tech genius. He encourages her to go analog—to get off social media and focus on meeting people in real life. In fact, he offers to be her guide. They like hanging out, talking, watching movies—you know, friend stuff, but then they veer over the line into “friends with benefits” territory, despite the age gap and their very different life goals.

This book hit me in the feels. I could relate to Eliza’s journey as a therapist figuring out her life. I’ve spent the past several years on the opposite side of the therapy couch, and I benefited so much from my therapist’s wisdom. I could also relate to Beck and his conservative upbringing and subsequent rebellion. I wasn’t in quite the same position, but I understand how shedding those old beliefs come with a cost—and in his case, the cost was his entire family. Loren handles all these emotionally fraught subjects with tenderness and care. Both Beck and Eliza grow and change, and their relationship left me smiling. i love that they didn’t let petty things like age get in the way of their friendship and love, and that they pushed through the misunderstandings to fight for love. And I’m a sucker for books with cranky cats. Not gonna lie.

I’ve wandered into plain old-fashioned rambling now, but let me just say, if you love steamy romances with a lot of heart, you need Roni Loren’s Say Anything books in your life and on your shelf.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for my advance review copy in exchange for my honest review.

I've loved this trilogy from Roni Loren from the very first book, but this third one really takes the cake, easily claiming its spot as my favorite in the series--and making me even sadder that it's all over. With the perfect mix of sweet, steamy, and real, these books all manage to capture people who are struggling in some ways and thriving in other, while finding their HEA.

In this book, we see therapist and aspiring mental health influencer Eliza take a break from social media after a video of a horrible date she was on gets posted on the internet. Her work collogue, Beck, is there to help her disconnect from technology, but maybe connect in other ways... friends-with-benefits ways... but will their baggage prevent them from finding happiness?

I cannot recommend this book, and this series, enough. I wish the covers were cuter, because I'd jump at the chance to own them, but they're cementing a spot on my Kindle! Thanks to Sourcebooks for my eARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

5 stars - 10/10

“We can make all these plans, but all we get is today. That’s the only thing we can count on.”

Another steamy romcom-slash-contemporary romance from Roni Loren that I enjoyed reading from beginning to end. For You & No One Else is the third book from the author’s Say Everything series which can be read as a stand-alone.

This book was an interesting read for me because I’ve never read anything like it in other romance books. I found the storyline unique and one of the characters’ background story, though quite unbelievable, was fairly amusing.

The story was well-written. The chemistry of our main characters, Eli & Beck, was established excellently — I lost count of how many times I blurted “aww” and gushed about their exchange of lines. I also found the story unpredictable, I honestly didn’t know where their relationship was headed, but I was lowkey wishing that they’d get a happy ending (no spoilers here, go figure if their relationship headed that way ◡̈).

For You & No One Else is an enjoyable and interesting read. Grab this book if you want to spice up your romance reading journey!

This is my first book by and I was super excited because the MC shares my name! 🤣

Eliza is a therapist and a wellness channel YouTuber. She’s going through some dating woes and went on a suuuuper shitastic date that blew up in her face the next day. Enter her younger hot quiet and moody (at first glance) neighbor at work. Beckham is a cybersecurity genius but also does gaming design on the side. He helps Eliza with her problem but also along the way forms this friends-with-benefits relationship with her. I LOVE friends to lovers romances. I’m not sure if they were ever truly just friends, since they both admit to some level of attraction, but CLOSE ENOUGH. ahhh the angst. I love it.

The conflict near the end had me lost a little bit. Like why?! But as I read on I understood more why it happened. I also felt like the ending happened too easily. Minor complaints! Cause overall I really enjoyed this book. I saw some people say this was their least favorite and that makes me sad cause ELIZA! But also makes me excited for her other books since I really enjoyed this one 🤗

Thank you so much to NetGalley and sourcebooks for an advanced readers copy in exchange for an honest review!! 🌸

I’m genuinely sad that this book is over. It was alarmingly amazing. The writing, the characters, the friendships, the witty banter, the sexy times, and the love of animals. I would give this book ten stars if I could! Roni Loren has always been a favorite of mine, but she just keeps upping my love for her words. Beckham and Eliza’s friendship is definitely one for the books. Beckham is completely book boyfriend material and I would like to request him in real life.

I am a sucker for witty banter between the two main characters. Roni Loren delivered that all throughout the book and I couldn’t get enough of it. I loved the overall love of friendship throughout the book! I craved their interactions because I knew they were witty, lovable, and you could feel the chemistry floating off the pages. Not to mention, the sister love from Andi and Hollyn :)

As a reader of romance, this is one of my top reads of 2022 so far! I want to hug this book and serenade it. This book will definitely be one that I think about for ages.
