Who doesn't love cowboys - and wolf shifters - so shifter cowboys? Definitely! A great series that will take you by surprise. Revenge, justice, finding trust, and yes finding your fated mate, although they may not always be immediately on board. Ballenger is always a good time - and this series hits the mark

Ballenger's writing is evocative and vivid, painting a rich and immersive picture of the Old West and the supernatural elements that infuse it. The blend of action, suspense, and romance keeps the reader engaged from the first page to the last. The chemistry between the main characters sizzles with intensity, adding a layer of passion to the story that's as hot as the desert sun. The love story that unfolds amidst the chaos and danger is both heartwarming and steamy.

In this book Kait bring romance and suspense to the sixth book in the series. Malcolm is our broody and withdrawn main character that is suffering from a grief event. His pack is facing vampires. He is also a shifter.

Malcolm and trixie are both somewhat torn characters. They have known each other for a year. This book builds up the suspense in a way that the reader will love.

I have been provided with a review copy of Cowboy Wolf Outlaw from NetGalley for an impartial review. This is the sixth book in the Seven Range Shifters series and I just loved getting to reenter this world. I was just drawn into this wonderful story and I just couldn’t get enough of it. It was just so easy to get lost in this great story. I just didn’t want it to end. I just lost myself in it and I just couldn’t get enough of these interesting characters. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.

We've reached the end of the series. Malcolm has lost his mate, and his pack is under threat. Trixie is an unlikely helper but is willing to do what is necessary to help him protect his family. A slow building romance with some twists and turns. This series will be one you read and reread often.

A bisexual wolf shifter?! 😯

That's new indeed. This last book from the Seven Range Shifters was so interesting that when I started reading, I was a bit taken aback that Malcom's mate was actually a guy.

His first love died. He knew he had to move on, but he needed to get revenge for his death.

So any distraction was not allowed, not even a sassy and sexy Veritas witch, who can see through him.

Malcolm was a very mysterious and dark character from the previous stories. That's why finding him as a mate for Bo was a surprise. It's also my first time reading about a bisexual wolf shifter. I was not fond of Trixie at the start, but after getting to know her nearing the end, I appreciated the persona that she created at the beginning.

Although I only read Books 5 to 7, I had a great time reading this cowboy shape-shifter series!

Thank you to Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley for the ARC.

I really love this author and this entire series!! I’m sad that this is the final one but looking forward to what’s next from Kait! This book was wonderful! It had a lot going on with the action and how the end was going to be completed. I’m happy that Malcom got an HEA. He’s quite grumpy but does have a soft side. I liked that he was Bi and how the pack accepted this! (Love) He rides a motorcycle and is known as the killer. Trixie is our sunshine heroine witch, who works at a bar to pay back a debt. She teases men and always had on lipstick and small outfits! She and Malcom have chemistry and a pull toward one another they can’t deny! Well these two really go through a lot with vampires and warlocks trying to kill and cause trouble. This book has great action, emotions, and steam! I couldn’t get enough!! Wonderful series and ending!

Somehow I guess I didn't know that this series was ending, but this is the last one in this part of the series. I am still hopeful for an offshoot of some kind. In this one we get Malcolm and Trixie's story. Malcolm is still grieving the loss of his mate and is set on revenge. No matter the cost to himself, but he will still keep his pack safe. Trixie knows more about Malcolm than he knows. She knows that he is a wolf shifter, she knows that his pack is in trouble, and she knows he is attracted to her. But Trixie knows better than to get mixed up with a wolf and has her problems to deal with. But even when it may be smarter for her to stay away, she has always been the one to find trouble.

I enjoyed this one although at times I wanted to smack Malcolm something fierce! Both Malcolm and Trixie have their own individual issues, and those issues seem to rule their actions. It's almost like they can't step away from their pasts. Malcolm seemed to resent being attracted to Trixie, which I get because he lost his mate. But at times it almost seemed like he was taking it out on her that he was attracted to her. And it wasn't her fault. But then they quickly get together, and I was expected that to take more time. I think I would have liked it more if Malcolm acted a little different, but honestly that is probably just something with my liking. It was still an enjoyable read, I just had to push myself past his attitude.

After part four (Fierce Cowboy Wolf) and part five (Wild Cowboy Wolf) of the seven Range shifters series, I was curious to read about the broody Malcolm in part six.

The story started out promising, with a very mouthy Trixie. However, about halfway of the book the story seemed to drag on a bit. I understand that Malcolm has a dark past, but come on… Keep the pace up please. The fact that I picked up several books before finishing this one, definitely is a sign that the story went a bit too slow for my liking.

At two thirds, the story fortunately went back uphill, so I did finish the story. I’m a bit hesitant though, to pick up the next part. But probably I’ll not be able to pass up a hot cowboy wolf story when offered. Three out of five stars and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

The sixth book in Seven Range Shifters, Cowboy Wolf Outlaw is an intriguing read. Secrets, deceit and resolutions, this story bring the series full circle to its conclusions. I enjoyed the characters and the series and would recommend if you like this genre to give this series a go.

Sadly, this one didn't quite work out for me. Probably didn't help that I'm not completely caught up on this series. This one definitely has a darker and more solemn tone to it. I want to catch up and then give this book another go.

If you love shifters, a steamy romance, good vs evil, a wolf and a witch who know how to stand with each other then you need to read COWBOY WOLF OUTLAW.

While I love this series, I was disappointed in the final book. I expected Malcom's story to put the final period in a "you don't mess with my family/pack" thriller. Instead, it is a very slow "poor me" kind of tale. Yes, there are a few action scenes, but that is really it. Maybe I built it up too much in my head. I hope you enjoy it more than I did.

While this one wasn't as good as the last two it was still really a good read. Bittersweet since it's the last in the series but I look forward to any thing this author writes.

I absolutely fell in live with this series. Cowboy and wolf combined. Yes please. Kait is an amazing author. I find I get so pulled into the story I don't want to put the book down. Rich characters and incredible world

When 1 sexy barmaid, and 1 brooding wolf become aware of each other sparks fly. Throw in some nasty bad guys , a jealous dog and you have a fun read.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

This book had a bit of everything in it - romance, intrigue, secrets, and betrayal. For the first part of the book, we see that Malcolm has been denying his attraction to Trixie. As the book goes along, we find out that most of what you see from Trixie is an act to cover who she really is underneath that false veneer.

The book wraps up the series bringing the battle between the vamps and the wolves to an end. The final chapter is kind of bittersweet as there is a HEA but not with the Grey Wolf pack. As this is the last book, there are no more books with Maverick or Blaze or their mates. Great wrap!

Witches, shifters, vampires and a rescue dog named Dumplin. Trixie uses her witchy powers to protect a coyote shifter and the powers that be are not pleased. Malcolm uses his skills as the shifter pack's enforcer to take out the bad guys. They ride off into the sunset on a restored vintage motorcycle.
