This was a fast-paced romance with great characters. I enjoyed it very much. I have a feeling I would like more from this author.

I thought that this book was very cute and a quick read. In the beginning it was hard for me to get into, but as I continued to read I was not able to put it down. The overall relationship between Vivi and Remy flowed very well and I loved seeing it develop throughout the book. It was interesting how the story was told in Remy's POV, but I think I would have preferred a dual POV. Overall, it was a good read!

I enjoyed being wrong about this book! I went in not really know what it would be like but then thinking it would just be another fluffy rom com but it came off more than that. Not so much heavy but not for the lighthearted either. I enjoyed the characters and their journeys. I didn't care too much for the cheating but I always applaud authors when they bring realness to a story no matter how right or wrong it is.

Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for providing a digital copy of the book for me to read in exchange for my honest opinion.

Synopsis: Remy Young touring with Vivi Swan means more money than he and his brother could ever earn on their own. And he's smart enough to keep himself far away from drama. Then a bus mix-up forces Remy and Vivi to spend hours together, and he's surprised to discover that she's nothing like the rumors said she'd be. When she asks for his help writing her next song, he's immediately on board—for professional reasons, of course. When Vivi's private life and public facade finally clash, a celebrity gossip blog threatens everything they've created together.

My Thoughts: The story is narrated by Remi, told in his POV. The author’s character development was amazing, they had a depth to them that I was able to connect with, especially Remy. I gravitate towards Rom-Com’s and one of the reasons I picked this book up, however, while it had some cute romantic moments, I think it was more of a romantic drama. The author’s writing was clear, creative, and authentic. I love how Pearce explored the music scene, speficially with the touring aspect and how hard it is on musicians, and then the cost of fame is explored a little. The book explores relationships, not only romantic but also the relationship of the brothers, which was nice to see. This was more of a slow burn, but still a good book overall that I enjoyed.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I had to kind of breeze through this one. Unfortunately, when I have to skip pages to finish a book in that way, I classify it as a DNF. I hate DNFing ARCs, but when I do once in a blue moon, I like to thoroughly explain why.

This book was all over the place. Let's all be honest to ourselves. If we read the book, it was because we were drawn to the fact that the main character is based off Taylor Swift. I mean, down to even the little details. This was really fun, but I also wish there were more original aspects to her character. I felt like I didn't know Vivi at all, and I found myself wishing we got dual POV to see her motivations and thought processes.

Unfortunately, I felt that the writing was juvenile. I didn't prefer that this was from Remy's POV. I didn't find his character particularly well constructed or interesting. More than anything, I hated the presence of the age-old misogynistic stereotype of the female pop star who dates a lot of men, traps them in her web of toxicity, gets too clingy, and cries when they leave in a marble bathtub surrounded by pearls with a waterproof notepad to jot down breakup lyrics (iykyk).

There were so many layers that were thrown into the plot that were not justly elaborated upon. The religious family background, the substance abuse, reputations and fame. Instead we got grand gestures (x2) with no communication follow-up, and a cheating plot line?

At first I wasn’t too into this book. It was far slower of a pace than I am used to. As time went on I became more invested in the characters and liked seeing the complexities and politics of the music industry and tours. I didn’t care for the flashbacks as they were disruptive and slowed the story even more. It wasn’t until the last third of the book that I really got into the story fully. I really liked the ending and felt things came together pretty well. I would recommend others check this book out.

Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for the ARC.

I thought that this book was a lot of fun overall.

Six Ways to Write a Love Letter didn't pull me in right away. It felt angsty and a little too youthful for me, but as the story went on - I grew to love the characters involved. You've got Remy, this grungy indie artist working in a studio as a junior producer/drummer - he wants something more. His brother, Val, is fighting his demons with his girlfriend Celeste. When Remy gets ask to jump in last minute as a drummer for a pop star -- his life changes dramatically.

I got T-Swift vibes from Vivi Swan. Country goes pop, cherry red lips - fans screaming her name as she sings breakup song after break up song. It was really cool to watch her character develop into something that wasn't just the pop star -- to watch her barriers come down.

This book is your typical happy ever after, fade to black romance. Its a perfect beach read for the summer.

Oh my goodness - I enjoyed this book so much more than I thought I was going to!

I always feel like that's maybe not necessarily a kind thing to say? But I mean it in the most delightful way that it can be taken. I had never read Jackson Pearce before. I was lured in by the blurb (because let's face it, I'm a sucker for a celebrity romance) but I knew I was still taking a chance.

It started a little slow for me. I wasn't very patient with it and I wasn't sure if I was going to connect with it. Then, suddenly - it all fell into place. Something clicked and once it clicked, I was all-in. It just worked for me. I was so intrigued by Vivi and so in love with Remy. I was so fascinated by the way they were drawn to each other and how achingly tender their relationship felt. It's such a fantasy, but it was written in a way that felt so authentic - it just pulled me in, held me in thrall, and left me with a giant smile and happy tears.

This story was beautifully written and I enjoyed it so much. It's a lovely romance, and a beautiful love story - yes, for Vivi and Remy, but also for Remy and Val (his brother). I didn't always connect with the flashbacks/brother's story but honestly their relationship evolution was almost more rewarding than the romance in the end.

If I have a complaint, it would be that I might have liked more of a resolution to the conflict for Vivi and Remy, and I think I needed to see a bit more of her walls come down and her fight for Remy with the same fire that she gave protecting her reputation. But even without those things I can appreciate the way it played out and honestly, it left me feeling completely heartwarmed and happy in the end.

I gobbled this story up voraciously and then was sad when I hit the end and it was time to leave them behind which I think means there's a bit of book magic in this book and I'm so so glad to have read it.

Thank you to NetGalley, Jackson Pearce, and Sourcebooks Casablanca for an electronic ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Six Ways to Write a Love Letter is a romantic comedy that follows two MCs on tour. I love music and find touring fascinating. It was cool to read more about that side of the industry.

I quite enjoyed this book. The pace was on point. The romance didn’t feel rushed and felt natural. Jackson’s writing made reading flow nicely and was easy to read. Overall, I would recommend others to check it out!

Thank you to @netgalley and @jacksonpearce for giving me the opportunity to read this fantastic book!!

This book was so romantic and heartwarming. Vivi gave me major Taylor Swift vibes no joke with the country -> pop and the songs being about heartbreak HAHA it was cute I love taylor swift. I’m someone who listens to a song for their lyrics first before the music so when Vivi and Remy spoke music and produced their song? So. Swoon.

The pace was just right, giving enough time to touch on the romance, the music, the brother and everything else just tied in really nicely in the story. Really made my heart so full and warm, a very lighthearted romance. Definitely my new comfort book.

Sweet, sensitive and so sincere, Six Ways to Write a Love Letter is a wonderful read.

With well thought out characters and beautiful writing, this book is a deep and sensitive story of
friendship, family, love and so much more. The author manages to capture the essence of opening up and forming a connection - through creation, music and passion within the whirlwind and plastic world of the music industry, giving us a magical glimpse behind the curtain, under the makeup and straight into the heart of these characters, in an almost cinematic way.

4.5 stars and a golden song

This book was a great little book. I really enjoyed the development of the relationship between Remy and Vivi. The relationship did not feel rushed and felt completely natural, with a level of predictability. I did not fully understand the flashbacks to Quiet Coyote. It didn't seem to add anything to the story. Overall a a great little read.

I read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I enjoyed this book. I felt like it was a small insight into Taylor Swift's life on the road.
I guess it was just a bit slow-paced compared to what I'm used to. They didn't show much angst or need with each other for a while. Even then, it was sort of lukewarm.
The writing was easy to read, and I enjoyed Val and Celeste's relationship.
I feel sad that Val and Remy couldn't share their lives with their parents or sister, but I suppose it does happen that way.

Six Ways to Write a Love Letter by Jackson Pearce is a romantic comedy with a little substance underneath the boy meets girl story. Remy Young is a drummer trying to break through as a producer after having once tasted the fame of having an album hit it big. Fate seems to offer him a once in a lifetime opportunity to tour with the larger than life pop-star Vivi Swan (insert Taylor Swift here). Fearful of leaving his brother who still feels vulnerable in his sobriety, Remy takes the chance to go on tour and finds himself in a situation he couldn't have imagined when it seems like Vivi and him actually start a friendship and maybe more.

This one took me just a little to find the rhythm, but once I did it was hard to set down. It was everything I hope for a in romantic comedy movie in a book type of read. For someone looking for a book of that genre and/or a fan of music, I'd highly recommend this one! An enjoyable 4.5 stars!

Thank you to NetGalley, Jackson Pearce, and Sourcebooks Casablanca for an electronic ARC in exchange for an honest review. I will definitely be looking to read more Jackson Pearce in the future!

I’m not sure what I was expecting when I started this book, but it wasn’t a surprisingly fun romantic drama. There were moments of drama, fluff and frivolity throughout and the protagonist, Remy, was an interesting POV character. Also, as an aside, if a certain pop star read this book, she would either be flattered or upset by Pearce’s depiction of Vivi Swan, singer extraordinaire. Thanks NetGalley for this ARC!
