Christmas in July.... I'm there!

Ivy who is an LA screenwriter who is finally behind the scenes on her first successful Christmas film. She loves the magic, of making a Christmas movie and something extra special about making one in the summer.
The film is actually based on her and her high school sweetheart, Nick.
And its being filmed in her hometown.
When she stumbles upon her first love, who broke up with her five years ago.
On Christmas!
Nick honestly isn't happy to see Ivy either after all these year's.
And he's extra salty because in her movie she kills his character off.
To make matters worse the actress playing Ivy starts getting a crush a on the real Nick!

Ivy is mixed with all these crazy emotions. And as she continues being around Nick she hell bent on seeing if there are any feeling left between them.

Will Ivy have to rewrite her life script to finally get it right this time?

What an amazing romcom!
This book was incredible and I had the best time reading it.
Both characters are fabulous.
They are smart, funny, caring and a little bit flawed just like all of us.
Juliet and Keith's incredible writing shows throughout the story.
An incredibly well-written romcom with fully developed characters and a likable, smart protagonist to boot. This was my first Giglio novel but I have no doubt I’ll be reading more because this author can write.

I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars, but I’m going to be honest and say “it’s not the book, it’s me”. I loved the characters, the story line was fun and engaging, and the writing flowed. So why only 4 stars? COVID and the pandemic are mentioned occasionally, and it feels like it’s set a couple years from now. So the COVID references in the past tense while it still feels very real in my life was hard for me. So… it’s not the book, it’s me.

I mainly picked this up for the book cover but god DANG this was such a fun ride! It was great curling up in my bed while doing online school and just getting sucked into the characters’ world and their relationships
