The best thing I like this books is that it's short, straightforward and simple. It's a compilations of Q&As for girls, and I liked that I could simply browse through the table of contents and find the answer that I may need. Currently at the age of 23, I'm a fresh graduated from university who's struggling to find my own directions, and although some answers in this book are kind of cliché and some others are vague, most of them are very true and practical. At first I considered simply scanning through it since not every topic fits my case or interest me, but later I decided to dig deep. I liked the simple and super straightfoward Q&A style and then I thought...why not? Experiences are priceless, and anxiety exists in every stage in life. Even if I don't need some advice in particular right now, I may need it at some stage. What I'm trying to say is, many advices are practical enough that they become reassuring for me, easing some of the anxiety and tension that I have been feeling lately during my current rollercoaster ride of job searching. Also, kudos to the layout design that makes this whole book so comfortable to read.

My sincerest gratitude goes to the author, the publisher and NetGalley for providing an opportunity to try this one out, and I'm definitely going to grab a physical copy once it's out.

This is an excellent book for young adults and I believe we need more like it! I wish its theme had been more centralized. There are a lot of great questions and answers very specific to one industry or job, which means the reader might have to do quite a bit of hopping around and skipping of pages to get the advice needed. I'm hoping the author comes out with more books soon, as strong mentors are so important!

Author Illana Raia, founder and CEO of Être - a mentorship platform for girls - brings us a collection of advice from boss ladies around the world. Illana was recently named one the first 250 entrepreneurs on the Forbes Next 1000 List. She believes that mentors matter early. She brings girls directly into companies they choose (Spotify, Google, YouTube, NYSE…) to meet female leaders face to face. This book is a collection of some of the advice from those forums (and others).

This is the book I wish I had as a teenager! The women in this book are Olympic athletes, entrepreneurs, engineers, CEO's and more.

Girls - raise your hands and ask some questions! I love that this book shows the questions and the answers. I think you can learn as much from what other people are asking, as you can the answers. What questions do other girls ask when they talk with powerful women? How are they thinking about their futures?

There is not a magic formula for success, nor does this book attempt to offer one. Rather, it gives girls access to a wide variety of viewpoints from successful ladies that are ahead of them on the path.

Buy this book for the young ladies in your life - show them that they can excel and start giving them the tools to do so! A book can't replace mentors that pour into a girl's life personally - but it can help!

I received an ARC of this book from #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
