I listened to this one on audio and the narration was really good.
By the time I was finished with it, I needed a cigarette and I don't even smoke.
Dom is one of the filthiest talkers in all of the books that I have ever read. GOOD LORD.
I practically melted during the last sex scene. Whew! Get out the fans people.
The story was interesting in that I haven't read a book surrounding the not so pretty side of reality TV and Hollywood fame.
It was a good story and I enjoyed it, but kind of light on angst and emotional turmoil that I normally expect from an MM story.

Oh this book was deliciously steamy!

The spark that Dominick and Kendall have is straight up tangible. The plot surrounding by social media, reality TV and paparazzi made this story feel like it was ripped right out of the headlines. Getting a glimpse into the Dalton brothers makes me so excited for the other books. I listened to this audio and all I can say is wow…so hot! I am excited about the next book in the series as well as working through her agency back list.

Whew, I need a cold drink after listening to this book... it is definitely a 10 on the hotness scale!!!! 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥 And I loved every minute of it!!

This was a great book... I really enjoyed the storyline. Although I will say I wish it were that easy to be discovered in Hollywood!! Dominick is Kendall's sisters lawyer, but she didn't know that until walking into her sister's meeting late after spending an absolutely naughty night with him. He offers her a chance of a lifetime... be part of an upcoming reality show that will make her a star. Except her sister is extremely jealous... and if she takes the job, not only does she lose her sister but Dominick as well since he can't fraternize with her once she starts filming. But then again, how was Dominick to know just how addictive Kendall would be!!

Absolutely loved this! The narrators kept it fresh, authentic and hot!! And I can't wait to read the next book in this series!!

Wow. The Lawyer is the first time I’ve read a Marni Mann book, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s a celebrity romance, and Kendall and Dominick have some serious chemistry that the minute that shortly after they meet each other, they find themselves in the elevator heading up to Dominick’s room, where things get hot, heavy, and oh so s*xy. The next day they find themselves on the opposite side of the table as Dominick is the Lawyer for Kendall’s celebrity sister. Things only intensify from there.
There’s drama and suspense, and though loyalties are tested, Dominick manages to keep his cool throughout. I enjoyed this story and looked forward to reading the next. My only setback was I didn’t feel the male narrator was strong enough to portray Dominick. At times, his narration made him sound as if he was whining. I’m not sure if it’s the way he ends his sentences. On the other hand, the female narrator did a great job portraying the new to town and a naïve heroine.

This audiobook had me hooked from the beginning. Dominick and Kendall had a connection from the moment their eyes met and I loved their undeniable chemistry. Kendall was a relationship person and Dominick didn’t want to get attached. Watching the chemistry play out with Dominick trying to deny it kept me waiting for when he’d finally give in and he did not disappoint. With Kendall on a reality show and Dominick wanting to keep his life private it was another layer to try to stay apart and then to their relationship. And it worked out until Kendall’s jealous and drama queen sister Daisy came into the picture and Dominick helped protect her and then he again got to step it up when the paparazzi got ahold of private photos and it just made me fall for him a little more. I love Dominick in his protective mode. He did everything he could to make sure that Kendall was protected and happy. I just love him. I cannot wait to listen to Jenner’s and Ford’s books.

This is the first book in The Dalton Brothers series. Dominick and Kendall‘s story is sizzling hot. They are both interesting characters. I loved to hate Kendall’s sister Daisy. The characters are well developed, and the storyline is interesting. Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro (she is one of my favorite female narrators) did a good job with the narration. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Hot hot hot! A steamy listen that is not safe for public listening, must wear your headphone!!!
It wasn’t just steamy scenes, there is an enjoyable storyline that keeps the reader listening.

There is something about Marni Mann’s writing that just sucks me in! I literally could not get enough of Kendall & Dominick. I felt the electricity between them and it was so smoking hot 🥵 I absolutely loved Kendall’s fierceness. Dominick’s alpha but sweet personality was everything! I honestly didn’t want to finish reading. I wasn’t ready to let them go. And I’m still not! Amazing listen!! Great Narration by Tim Paige & Kelsey Navarro.

4.25 scorching ⭐ and you don't have to wait too long for the action ~ slow burn this is not.

Kendall's sister, Daisy, is an actress and Kendall agreed to be her personal assistant even though she is a nightmare to work for and be around. I mean a NIGHTMARE! She's the most terribleist person eva.
Dominick is Daisy's lawyer and when they have a meeting he realizes the woman he met and had a one night stand with the night before is Daisy's sister. He thinks Kendall has star quality and helps get her career started as a reality actress.
He's hates being in the spotlight, but neither can deny their attraction to each other. Can they make it work? Spoiler alert ~ they can and they do! Yes, yes, yes they do.

I am so happy this was written in dual point of view. The narration was mostly good ~ I am just not a fan when a man narrates a woman's voice and vice versa. Tim Paige's dirty talking was on point though.

I'm excited to have found a new to me author to satisfy my sexy time listening needs. I need the rest of the series like NOW!

Dominick Dalton! Just Yum! I absolutely inhaled this book. Let’s start with the obvious, was it steamy? Yes ma’am! The steam was exhilarating. This story does follow that traditional “rich, cocky forever bachelor” stereotype, but I honestly I didn’t hate it being that the story is based in Los Angeles. I did enjoy the intimacy and romance between Dominick and Kendall, and it progressed at a natural rate. I absolutely swooned at Dominick with his niece, and I melted for pretty much every other scene Dominick was featured.

I will say that I did the audiobook for this story, and I’m torn on it. I really enjoyed the male narrator, but it was a hit and miss with the female narrator, and I think that’s because of her deeper voice felt so different from her counterpart.

This story might not hit with the ultra feminist crowd, but I think it struck a healthy balance between bedroom dominance and independent reality. I will emphasis that he has a learning curve in the beginning.

Can’t wait for the rest of this series, and I’m definitely picking up a few more books from this author now.

Spicy and fun! I loved this audio! I love a good smutty/spicy audio so this is one that I would recommend to anyone. I loved the characters and the tension. This is def one to read for all my Booktokers out there.

This one had steam, but I also enjoyed the storyline.

The Lawyer is a sizzlingly hot, low angst, swoon worthy, world building story with amazing characters, fantastic support characters and a villain you can’t help but love to hate. All of this is complemented by the perfect duo bringing these characters to life.
Dominick is an entertainment lawyer at the laws firm he has with his brothers. He values his privacy above anything so has a rule about not dating clients and famous people in general.
Kendall is a graphic artist who recently moved to Hollywood to be the personal assistant to her sister Daisy who is a reality television star and a total diva.
This romance gets off to a super lusty start that will not only entice and tease you but, as Dominick and Kendall build a deeper connection along the way will keep you enamoured to the end.
I loved the growth of these characters. How super protective, possessive and alpha Dominick is and the dirty talking, lord have mercy, the dirty talking is just…wow!
Kelsey and Tim are the perfect duo to bring Dominick and Kendall to life. Tim’s deep, commanding tone giving this dirty talking alpha a voice is simply incredible! Kelsey does an exceptional job depicting Kendall’s sweet and insatiable sides.
What a spectacular start to what is sure to be another phenomenal series. I cannot wait to get to know the remaining Dalton brothers and in true Marni style I’m sure the brothers will be just as hot, fiery, passionate and dirty talking as Dominick.

Dominick and his brothers are partners in a law firm, and he has created quite a niche for himself in the entertainment industry. He doesn’t have the time or patience for a relationship but when he meets Kendall at a social event, they share a steamy evening unlike anything you have ever seen before.

Kendall finds herself in town to be the assistant to her celebrity sister and her understanding and kindness is something you can only admire. When she shows up to a business meeting with her the last person she expected to see again was the man she shared an unforgettable night with. He now wants to make her a star which means that their night will only ever be a memory not be repeated, right?

The chemistry between these two radiates off the pages. Kendall is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet and so unprepared for what is about to happen to her life while Dominick is not about to let her flounder and is beside her every step of the way. The narrators did a great job of bring the characters and their story to life.

Back to the book. The Lawyer by Marni Mann was fun! Not your typical romance, but still hot, and a great HEA. I enjoyed the main characters, and especially how much love Dominick had for Kendall. The Hollywood location made for all the drama and gossip. This is the 1st book in The Dalton Brothers series and I can’t wait to read, or listen, to the next one. I have never read anything by Mann, but have been on a huge romance kick, and look forward to reading more of her work!!

Oh goodness, gracious, this book is STEAMY. Like S.T.E.A.M.Y! This book did not have to go this hard. Marni Mann did not have to go this hard, but here we are. From what seems like a pretty straightforward premise, a one-night stand buds into something more between a green reality TV star and her lawyer. But this book goes all the way in. The dual POVs allow for readers to get a look into both love interests' heads and enjoy the ride from both sides. To be completely honest, there were times that the male POV bordered on too much on misogyny for me (specifically at the beginning of the book), but this definitely got better as the novel progressed.

Will I be reading this next book in this series? Oh heck yes. Do I need it like yesterday? Oh HECK yes.

The Lawyer is the first book in Marni Mann’s The Dalton Brothers series. It was also my first Marni Mann novel. Ohhh my🥵. This was STEAMY STEAMY!

Kendall moved to Hollywood to work as an assistant for her sister, Daisy, who’s a famous reality star! From the start we see that Kendall is so wholesome, selfless, kind and just very down to earth! She goes to a party and meets Dominick. Dominick Dalton, the sexy bachelor who enjoys having his one night stands, who also happens to be a very successful Entertainment Lawyer in Hollywood. *swoon* Kendall and Dominick’s connection is instantaneous and they end up leaving the party together. And can I just say that I love and appreciate the spice starting verryyy early in the book! The morning after, Kendall is late to a meeting with her sister and her Lawyer!! Then starts the drama! I loved it.

I love Kendall and Dominicks relationship. It was so nice to see that he’s so successful, alpha and possessive, but when it comes down to it, he prioritizes Kendall! He is always there for her, however she needs him, and that made me love Dominick even more.

I really enjoyed listening to The Lawyer. The audiobook was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone who loves steamy audiobooks with lots of good drama that kept me on the edge of my seat! I definitely cannot wait for the second book in this series, can’t wait for the steam!🥵

I listened to this book as an audiobook. This was my first time listening to a “spicy” book via an audiobook. I love listening to audiobooks but I have purposefully avoided listening to spicy books because of the voices are not spot on with the description of the book, it can be difficult to get invested in the characters.

With that being said, I loved the person who voiced Kendall. She got the exact image I thought Kendall would have. It was important for her to come across strong, smart and humble. All of these were portrayed which made the book easy to read and exciting to listen to. I really liked the person who voiced Dominick was a really good choice as well. He sounded serious and intriguing. The only complaint I had was that some of the voices the person voicing Dominick made were a little forced. Other than that I was happy with the audiobook.

Now to the actual book. This book follows Kendall, the assistant to her famous sister,
and Dominick, a high powered entertainment lawyer, who meet one night at a party and expect to never see each other again. The meet unexpectedly the next day during a business meeting. Following this meeting Kendall finds herself thrown into the spotlight while trying to navigate her relationship with her sister and Dominick. On the other hand, bad boy Dominick doesn’t do long term flings. The book details both of these characters’ lives as they adjust to things outside their comfort zones.

This was a good book. It started off extremely fast and did not have any build up. I like Dominick’s character a lot. I think he’s the typical bad guy but without being mean. Kendall bordered on too passive for most of the book which frustrated me but the intention behind her character flowed well with the story. I would have liked to have seen a stronger ending but I won’t hold it against anyone since this is not a standalone. I will definitely be reading the next books in this series!

I was drawn to this book because I recognized the author’s name, loved the cover and the description seemed to be something that I would love. Although I loved the narrator and how much spice the book had, I found myself speeding up the book to just get through it. I didn’t find the storyline or characters developed enough. I didn’t believe in their relationship to be anything serious and the sister was overly annoying.
