This book was not for me. It did not meet my expectations so I did not finish reading it. I know ARCs are not always edited but this was terrible to read and awfully confusing at times.

The timing was off, the sentences were so dull, without inspiration or creativity, it didn't flow very well and it just didn't add up.

This fun, frothy holiday themed romance was just the trick to get me in the holiday mood.

Molly McKenna has been in love with her boss, Sebastian, for the entire three years she’s worked for him. He’s charming, good looking and has a sexy Australian accent. When he still can’t remember her name and looks at her like she’s a piece of random office furniture, she teams up with her work bestie Hunter to turn her plain-Jane work look into a sexy alter ego “Elizabeth James” to serve as Sebastian’s blind date to a work gala. When he doesn’t even recognize Molly but falls in love with “Elizabeth”, Molly needs to come up with a scheme to make him fall in love with the real her. Bringing him home for Christmas as her fake date in exchange for helping Seb track down Elizabeth, she ends up being caught in the middle between Hunter, Seb and her cheating ex Thomas who’s determined to win her back. Adding to the drama is her sisters with their own personal crises, and her truly awful human being of a mother Sylvia.

The book itself isn’t a masterclass in writing - it could use some editing and grammar corrections - but it was a quick fun read. You know where it’s heading (read: predictable and unrealistic) but you just don’t quite know the journey. Definitely worth a few laughs.

A cute Christmas story.... Goes to show us that our true love can be right under our noses the whole time...

I couldn’t get into this at all, and I thought the characters were very flat and annoying.
I couldn’t find the romance, and a lot of it made me cringe.
And in the end it seemed too fast written, to get all the things to end right.

Firstly, I couldn’t finish this book. I read about a quarter of it and just couldn’t stand it any longer. The prologue was promising, but the following chapters went downhill. The main character comes off as starry-eyed and naive. The Thanksgiving dinner at her parents home was ridiculous. We didn’t need to know how every McKenna woman as a teenager decorated their bedroom. Her mom has no substance, very 2D character that’s just mean. Hunter, the “bestie”, seems to only exist to cheer Molly on. No character there either.
Basically, this book sucks. I know ARCs aren’t always thoroughly edited, but this looks like it hasn’t even been reread for basic errors yet. I will not be finishing this book or interested in anything else by this author ever again.

This book was really cute like Christmas read , and I read it in one sitting ! It’s easy to be swept away in Molly McKenna’s crazy, romcom world. Set a course for adventure as you experience all the hi-jinks, gorgeous men, NYC Christmas magic, and down home goodwill of Molly’s life. This story kept a smile on my face from start to finish!

This was such a cute Christmas read. It was my first of this author and I really enjoyed this book and the characters. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Molly loves Christmas and everything about the holiday, her dream is to create a Christmas Village but for now, she is working at a firm, and she is completely in love with her boss. Her best friend Hunter is in love with her but doesn't know it yet and she doesn't realize what's in front of her. This is all madness there is a family drama, not realizing what's in front of you, and just a lot of uh moments. It is a cute holiday read but makes you want to yell and scream the whole-time cause molly is completely in love with her boss, but he doesn't know she is alive or even her name which if someone is working for you for three years you should at least know their name like come on now. Then she has a best friend that seems to bend over backward to help her and enjoys being around her all the time yet neither of them realizes they are perfect for each other. This book took me way too long to read but that's because I kept wanting to yell at them. I will say at the end when they do realize it and they find their way to each other it is so beautiful but till then maddening and molly's mom is frustrating too.

I loved the fact that it had great characters, funny moments and a great setting. I read this entire book in one sitting because it was extremely captivating. This book was my first book read by Raylee Ridolfi and I will definitely continue to support her work. Thank you NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read an amazing story.

A fun, easy to read, short book that I enjoyed while n a little holiday away from home.

I love Christmas and this book had that, I enjoy a tiny bit of romance, and this book has that and a few laughs. It is not a full on, full of history, intrigue, thrills type of book, it is just a fun, easy, relaxing type of book.

Some readers may not like this but for me it is a great distraction between those harder to read, full on books which I do love. Have a bit of light-hearted fun and you will enjoy it.

I struggled to get into this book, which made me sad as it should have been perfect. The holiday vibe was amazing and there were moments I enjoyed, as well as times where I did laugh out loud. Worth a read on a quiet wintery day, for the romance and Christmas cheer.

This is a cute Christmas rom-com. I thought I was going to hate the ending because of the way it was going but the story changed gear and I was a little surprised by it but I liked the ending after that. This is a cute cozy story to read by the fireplace.

This is my first experience reading something by this author and I really enjoyed it. It was a delightful read and the story drew me in right away and kept me interested till the end. A charming and cozy romance to enjoy during the holidays. This is a fun and charming rom com that will have you smiling all the way through. This is a cute and heartwarming romance that shows you can find love in the most unexpected places. While Molly has her heart set on a certain Mr. Right, who barely even acknowledges her, what she doesn't realize is that her Prince Charming has been right in front of her the whole time. There were of course some ups and downs which adds to the drama, and plenty of humor and laughs. The story flowed nicely and the characters were interesting and fun. Overall, a really nice and relaxing read. If you're looking for a fun and cute escape, you definitely will want to pick this up!
I would definitely like to read more by this author.
