If you want something that is easy to read and gripping then look no further than this book.

In this book we meet Hannah who is a 28 year old woman who wants nothing more than to change absolutely every single thing about her life.

We also meet Nathan Wild who is had just moved back to his home town of Vermont after having lived in the city for over ten years and he is very happy and content in his life and doesn't want to change a single thing.

Suddenly Hannah is laid off from her job and decides to head for Vermont for the summer to help take care of her nieces and nephews, time to find out what she wants out of life and the direction when wants her life to go next.

Can I just say that the back drop of Vermont is absolutely stunning and the author really does a great job at describing it so you really feel like you are right there in the beautiful mountains with the characters.

It is here that Hannah and Nathan meet and their love story unfolds.

it’s good, but not a favorite. i think hannah being responsible for nora and owen was great for comic relief, but i didn’t really like things overall. the characters seemed kinda flat to me. i did rip through the last 25% or so, though. way to hold the suspense!

A warm and witty story with little Nora definitely stealing the show! She has a vivid imagination and wants to be a princess in her kingdom.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: what about a bit more diversity, possibly even adding someone who is chronically ill :)

As a native Vermonter, this was such a fun read! I've only ever read a couple of books based in my home state and so I really enjoyed all the references to local businesses and places I love and enjoy myself.

The storyline of this book was sweet and I really enjoyed the characters, especially the relationship between the main character Hannah, and her sister and parents. I wonder if this may be a reflection of the author's family? If so, I really enjoyed it!

I did find that the conversation between Hannah and her neighbor/love interest throughout the book was a little awkward at times. The ending took me by surprise and I once again really enjoyed the references to Vermont history. The last part of the book was my favorite- it was intense and kept my attention to the very end.
