This book was helpful in selecting titles for upcoming orders but not something out library would purchase as it would be dated quickly.

Looks like a few good books coming our way, but most of these aren't up my alley. Thanks netgalley for the advanced look.

It’s always great to hear what new books/authors are coming our way!

This is a huge list of novels coming out in the next few months. There are quite a few authors I've never heard of that I want to check out. I've added a lot of books to my TBR. Great list!

This is the most fantastic way to help readers get to know upcoming books. This really helped me narrow down some of my picks for later this spring and summer. I can't wait to request some of these titles and begin reading them.

I've never read the Buzz Books before, but it helped me find books that I wouldn't normally have chosen. Unfortunately, some of them had already been published so I actually bought them. Booth is one example, of that.

This "book" is really a preview of titles being published in the upcoming months. It provides an excerpt of the book along with publication info. It's a handy preview of what to look forward to.

Exciting News Alert!
(or exciting-just-for-me news alert)

About – what else? – this most delightful and blissful afternoon spent leisurely – though with a palpitating heart – browsing through this Good-News-Bearer of a book. Wanting to take All Of It in, deliriously jumping from one-book-to-another, as it is reasonable to suppose that I will be doing in the coming months. Too much to be about excited about, for us Curious&Avid Readers!

Now for the sadder part: having to list some – only very-some – individual selections below, which I hope to work through, slowly but surely (fairly painful to have to choose, and therefore eliminate so many possibilities, but time doth make fools of us yet and always; and no measure of it could begin to be enough for any human being to hope to read all of the great writing out there).

FICTION (Notables-Highly Anticipated-Emerging Voices-Debuts)

Adam Langer, Cyclorama
Alexis Schaitkin, Elsewhere
Anne Tyler, French Braid
Douglas Stuart, Young Mungo
Elaine Hsieh Chou, Disorientation
Elif Batuman, Either/Or
Emily St John Mandel, Sea of Tranquility
Emma Straub, This Time Tomorrow
Francesca Giacco, Six Days in Rome
Hanna Bervoets, We Had To Remove This Post
Janelle Monáe, The Memory Librarian: And Other Stories of Dirty Computer
Jennifer Egan, The Candy House
Jo Harkin, Tell Me an Ending
Leesa Cross-Smith, Half-Blown Rose
Lidia Yuknavitch, Thrust
Ottessa Moshfegh, Lapvona
Sloane Crosley, Cult Classic
Tom Perrotta, Tracy Flick Can't Win
Tove Ditlevsen, The Trouble With Happiness: And Other Stories

(Got out of hand much?)

NON-FICTION

Azar Nafisi, Read Dangerously: The Subversive Power of Literature in Troubles Times
Elaine Castillo, How to Read Now: Essays
Max Fisher, The Chaos Machine: The Inside Story of How Social Media Rewired Our Minds and Our World

(Please do make sure to check out their lists more thoroughly. I am no non-fiction reader myself, but I could very well see that there was an interesting assortment to choose from, between Memoir, the latest in technology, Politics, and so on.)

Final Comment:
Not the healthiest of exercises if you ask me (it took so much mental energy to keep the list minimally – or laughably – contained), but something tells me I will be doing this again!

Thanks go to Net Galley and Buzz Books for allowing me access to this book. This is a thrilling project to say the least, and I look forward to browsing through the May edition (2022 Fall/Winter).

A great review of upcoming books. The excerpts provide me an opportunity to review books, which I will now purchase. Thank you #NetGalley and #PublishersLunch for the copy of #BuzzBooks2022:Spring/Summer.

Every six months I am always so excited to see the release of this publication. I’m such a book junkie that once it’s in my hands, I can’t wait to power through and see what’s new and interests me. With this current release I managed to keep it down and only requested 12!! I admit however I added 20 to my TBR list that forever keeps growing. The book introductions, excerpts and convenient links to request are awesome. I’m keeping my fingers crossed and as always have lots of new titles to look forward to this summer. It’s a perfect publication, don’t change anything! Ten stars!!!

Really excited for some of the books they previewed including Cult Classic and This Time Tomorrow. This is one of the best resources I have for highly anticipated releases and debut authors, keep it coming! I will never stop requesting this!

I absolutely look forward to these every change of the season. They're a great way to not only sample books you're looking forward to but it's also a great way to be exposed to other authors and other titles. The downside is having to wait for their release date!

I always look forward to Buzz Books coming out! Buzz Books are a great resource for anyone who wants to know what books are on the horizon.

Buzz Books offers a list of soon-to-be-published titles along with their authors, publishers, and planned publication dates. (I love looking up those whose titles catch my eye -- and learning of new books from familiar authors!) There also are excerpts from forthcoming books; these are categorized into fiction, debut, nonfiction, and young adult. (There is a linked table of contents, so one can go directly to a particular excerpt without needing to page through.)

There are so many books I'm excited about this spring/summer, I can't even list them all here. But, I'm grateful to Buzz Books specifically for putting several of them on my radar!

Buzz Books is available free from any major e-bookstore.

I love the Buzz Books issues! I appreciate the opportunity to preview lots of titles in one place, and the excerpts help me decide which titles to request and review. From this issue, I am most excited to read Two Nights in Lisbon, Shadows of Berlin and Take My Hand.

This is a wonderful idea to showcase up-and-coming books. I have found several books that I plan to add to my stack of reading. The addition of links is helpful and something that other previews should offer.

I thoroughly enjoy these “buzz book” lumps. I think sometimes the summary or small snippet don’t always sell it for me but when I get these packets that include chapter snippets it shows me so much more. It introduces me to how the author writes their books and how the characters behave. I found myself writing WAY more books down than I expected. I found myself requesting way too books from NetGalley and my library and then I also pre-ordered a lot of books based off these samples.

I loved this sampler and I added at least ten more books to my TBR!! I really appreciated being able to read a synopsis and excerpt from numerous fiction, non-fiction, debut, and YA books. It was organized very well.

I look forward to these preview books every year. Buzz Books does a great job putting what's most interesting about the books up front and introducing you to new authors along the way. I love the way the book is organized to get you hooked with highly anticipated features before introducing you to impressive new folks. I never would have picked up a book like "Sister Stardust" or "After Lives" because of the covers and genre, but with the summary up front, I was hooked. Thanks NetGalley for the free copy in exchange for an honest review!
