Tough Justice is the first in a new series and it was a delight to read. Unlike other mystery thrillers, I didn't know who the bad guy was till it was revealed. Also reading Deck and Tori work through their differences was amazing. I will definitely be in the look out for more of this series.

A wooftastic five-star read. This is number one in the K-9 Special Ops series, and I am sure it will be just as good as the Federal K-9 series, this is hard hitting, the opioid crisis is real, and this story shines a light on it and shows us under the curtain. Decker is such a strong character that will keep your pulse thrumming strongly and fluttering lots and lots. As will his partner Thor, especially those ladder scenes, man they had my heart in my throat. Dr Tori is so passionate about what she believes in and her oath, she brings her passion to work and her history just makes her so much more passionate. This story has it all history, romance and drama. Do not miss this amazing author and this debut to the series that I am sure will bring so much joy and passion.

I love Thor, Deck, and Tori along with the other characters (well not the bad guys, but I guess we need them), and they were really good bad guys.

When Tori and Deck meet in the ER they surely don't thing much of each other at all. They are both holding on to some serious grudges.

Follow along in their story as they get to know one another while trying to work together on a very serious problem. But grab some tissues and be ready for some action. I enjoyed this one a lot!

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

DEA Agent Decker has no trust of Doctors since his sisters death. Tori and her family have no trust of the DEA Agency since her father tried to work with them and the outcome was bad. When Decks fellow DEA Agent is exposed to a fatal dose of a new drug he has to let Tori do her job but watches her every move. By circumstances and very little trust for each other they form a trurse and work together to try and get the new drug off the street and catch the dealer. As they work together and slowly start to trust each other things start to fall apart and trust is lost again. When Tori is taken Deck must rush to save her and rebuild the trust they have for each other.

DEA Agent Decker is hot on the trail for the drug dealer who has been selling a new drug on the Denver streets. Dr. Tori Sampson has been dealing with the constant borage of overdoses that have been pouring into her ER. These two collide when Deck rushes in his partner who is accidentally exposed to the drug during a raid. Both of them have past issues with each other’s professions. They will both have to find a way to work through them since they will need to work together to get this drug off the streets and deal with the passion that is simmering below the surface.

Great story from the start to finish, passionate, romantic and heartfelt. This is the first in a new series and I can’t wait for the next one.

What more can a dog loving romantic ask for in a novel? Oh yes, a hot cop AND lots of action. If that’s your jam, then this is the book for you. It was most definitely the book for me. The start of what I’m thinking is going to be another nail biting series from Tee O’fallen, K-9 Special Ops. Book 1, Tough Justice, has DEA Agent Adam ‘Deck’ Decker and his K-9 partner Thor racing against time to find the kingPin of a deadly new drug, Grey Death, as it works its way through the underbelly of Denver. Whilst investigating all the circumstances surrounding this drug, Deck ‘accidentally’ engages the assistance of sexy Doctor Victoria ‘Tori’ Sampson, putting both their lives in danger. Suspense - how come the bad guys always appear to be one step ahead of the good guys? Romance - is the pull between DEA hater Tori, and doc hater Deck, strong enough for them to overcome their differences? There wasn’t one thing about this book I didn’t like, except maybe when it ended. I was hooked from the very first page, what’s not to love about a cute dog that has only the best interests of his loved ones at heart? Wonderful characters and wonderful writing in this addictive and totally entertaining action romance.

Deck is with the K-9 unit of the DEA. The team was serving a search warrant when Deck’s partner ( Dan ) gets a little of a new drug on the streets. His buddy is taken to North Metro hospital. Deck doesn’t leave his partners side. He has a deep mistrust of doctors and their medicine. Tori is one of the doctors on call that night. She works hard to save Dan’s life and tries to get Deck to leave. Tori doesn’t like or trust DEA agents. When the DEA realize that hospital is ground zero, he must convince Tori in giving a class on what happens with this new drug. The closer they get to finding the dealer, the closer they become.

Suspense. Sex. Action. Two people that realize not all doctors or DEA agents are bad. I think this is my favorite of from this writer..

Action, romance, and dogs - the addition of a cast of talented working dogs adds definite spunk to the story. Adventure with drug dealers, DEA, and family drama - with of course heat brewing for the main characters. More fun than the average romance with a lot of adventure. I figured out the bad guy early on - but that didn't hurt anything.

LOVED this book! This is a quickly moving story that has Tori, and ER doc who hates the DEA, pitted against Deck, a DEA agent with a distrust of doctors. Despite that, their attraction practically sizzles - even as they are forced to confront a deadly opiate killing people. I loved the characters - the author made them almost come to life on the page and made me care about them and feel invested in their getting a HEA ending.

If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. While it is part of a series, this is a stand alone novel, however, its so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list.

Absolutely loved this book. Great subject to bring to light. The opioid drug problem and the drug dealers that no one would suspect. This was a very suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat to the very end. Tori, Deck and Thor were great. I received this arc for my honest review.

Tori is a wonderful ER doctor that is so tired of seeing so many people being brought in and passing away from overdoses. She gets a patient who is a DEA agent who during a bust inhaled a speck of the gray powder that is reading havoc in their area. He almost dies but Tori is able to save his life. His best friend Deck is there while he was admitted and being saved by Tori. Deck came up with a great idea to bring Tori in on his task force and let him know when patients are admitted that used the product. He wants to get the chance to talk to the ones that are surviving to help catch the people making and distributing it on the streets. They ends up catching some of the small people but they are having a hard time catching the Big D, who is the ring leader. Deck is having attempts on his life, when Tori is with him, due to them getting close to discovering who Big D is. Deck and Tori start to discover that they have feelings for each other. When Tori is right on the trail to solving it and letting Deck know it is, through a phone message, she gets taken. Deck has a short amount of time to find her and take down the drug network. This was an amazing story and I loved the characters! I was given an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.
