This was an interesting read and an as easy one as well. While I couldn't connect to the characters, I still liked the story. There were some slow moments in the story, mostly at the beginning which made me be in a slight slump.

Regardless, I liked the showdown between the killer and Dan.

I really enjoyed this book it was well written with a engaging plot and well developed characters. It was twisty and unpredictable with a dark and chilling undertone while at the same time providing uplifting moments with the romantic parts of the book. One minute on the edge of my seat and the next making me awww out loud. A really good read.

Thank you NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the copy of One Moonlit Night. I wish I had liked this book more, but it just was not for me. I never connected with the characters or the story. I think better editing would have helped immensely as well as more research into police procedures. If you are willing to overlook some procedural issues, you would like this book.

This book is not what it seems - yes, it is a mystery but it also takes the reader down the path of horror and even romance. The characters are unusual and fascinating and readers will enjoy the gradual building of the main character as they come to know him.
