Cinder-Nanny was a very sweet romance that made me feel like I was reading a Hallmark Channel inspired tale. I liked the characters and Diana definitely grew on me. I didn't relate to her at first, especially about her conning to get the nanny job, but I appreciated her noble intentions. The romance was very sweet with Griffin falling very fast for Diana. It was a bit of a slow burn, but I liked how nicely the ending came together.

Cinder-Nanny
by Sariah Wilson
Rating: 4.5/5

Wow. Sariah Wilson does it again with so many feel-good moments that make you squeal with delight at the romance of it all. Her stories are so fun, flirty and swoon worthy that you can't stop reading and laughing. Cinder-Nanny is brilliant and beautiful and you need to read it if you enjoy rom-coms.

First, the book cover is beautiful - I love the color scheme.
Second, the premise is not new but the writer keeps the story fresh and throws in some fun twists to the original Cinderella story. And who doesn't love a good modern-day Cinderella retelling?
Third, the main characters are relatable and interesting with their backgrounds and family dynamics. I really enjoyed their banter and chemistry. Diana's background was interesting to explore and I enjoyed the journey that she goes through. I loved how her background helped her do her job as a nanny.
Fourth, the romance and chemistry between the two of them are ridiculously cute, swoon worthy, and so satisfying (and clean).

PG-13 content.

Highly recommend if you enjoy romantic comedies with fairytale meet-cutes, flirty banter and a lot of heart.

Thanks to Montlake publishing, the author and Netgalley for an ARC of this book. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Diana takes a job as a nanny for an uber-rich family and meets a member of the Royal Family in Aspen, who she falls in love with. As she is there on false pretences, she needs to hide part of her true self from the person she most wants to be herself with. Complicated? Yes indeed!

This is a contemporary romance novel that I think would appeal to readers in their 20's or 30's. I liked Diana as a character, but I could not really identify with some of her choices - she has way more gumption than I would have! There's a sense of irresponsibility, despite her noble reasons, that I did not like.

Having said that, there are some fun moments in this book and overall, it was enjoyable. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4.

A classic Cinderella story set in the modern period--a love story between a nanny and a British earl.

Diana fakes her own way to becoming a nanny to a very wealthy family. While doing her job, she meets Griffin, an eligible British bachelor who is an earl. Griffin has to look after his niece Sophie while Diana is nannying Milo and while they were both looking after the children, soon, their relationship turns into romantic relationship. But Griffin has no idea about Diana's background and will Diana's happily ever after be ruined if she then tells him the truth?

I actually enjoyed reading this book, even though I am very skeptical on romance novels. Though this was very typical romance novels, nevertheless, I was hooked into the story and really rooted for the chemistry between Diana and Griffin that I actually wanted them to end up together. There were some funny parts in the book that will make you laugh out loud and the author did a good job of making the reader feel like they are part of the story. Overall, if you like a happily ever after themed story with a Cinderella theme, then this book might be the one for you--worth five stars!

Many thanks to Netgalley and Montlake for the ARC. The review is based on my honest opinion only.

Cinder-Nanny is a charming and delightful modern day fairytale! I loved getting to know Diana and Griffin, and bring along for the ride as they fell in love! Diana was a great character, and I really enjoyed watching her grow, to step away from her past, to embrace honesty and to trust Griffin with her truth and her heart. I’m sure that, like me, every one who reads this book will fall for the swoony Griffin! I look forward to every book that Sariah Wilson writes, and can’t wait for more!

Diana needs to come up with some money fast to pay for a transplant her sister desperately needs. She finds the perfect job as a nanny for a few months and the salary is beyond belief. But she doesn't even have half the requirements they're looking for. Surprisingly she gets hired and is off to Aspen. Milo is the perfect charge and she's actually enjoying her job, coming up with fun ideas to keep him entertained. One day at the park, Milo becomes friends with Sophie, whose uncle is none other than Griffin, the Earl of Strathmore. As they spend more time together taking the kids to different activities, Griffin pushes her for a date, but she's keeping him firmly in the friend zone, afraid of all the lies she's told to be here. Will he ever forgive her when he learns the truth?
This was a sweet Cinderella retelling with a twist. Griffin was the perfect prince of the story (even though he's 'just' an earl) and I was wishing for Diana to just get over herself and go out with the guy. I'm glad they finally got their HEA.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫 (4.5)
Steam Level: 🔥 (kissing only)
Trigger Warning: kidney failure, incarcerated parent, death of parents mentioned briefly

Diana Parker has just landed a three month long job as a nanny for the wealthy Crawford family which will help pay for her sister's kidney transplant. The only problem is that she lied about her qualifications, and she is worried about being caught and disappointing her new employers. As the daughter of a well known con artist, Diana has tried to live honestly and is now struggling with the guilt of her lies. Things only get more complicated when she meets the handsome Griffin Windsor, Earl of Strathorne and heir to a fortune. As she falls in love with Griffin, she struggles with whether or not he will accept her after learning about her upbringing and her lowly social status. Will being honest end up ruining her chances at love and her ability to help her sister?

I have had a few Sariah Wilson books on my TBR list and after this one I will definitely be bumping them up to read as soon as possible! I adored Diana's story. Not only did I get a swoony romance, but I also adored the relationship between Diana and her sister. And it was so sweet to see Diana become part of the Crawford family as she took care of their son Milo who was an adorable little hypochondriac. Griffin Windsor was the book boyfriend of my dreams, and he had the best chemistry and romance with Diana. This man was a deliciously sexy, kind, and patient cinnamon roll who had the best grand gestures! I did have to drop half a star just because Diana was so hot and cold for the majority of the book as she kept trying to keep Griffin in the friend zone due to her past and her fear that he'd break her heart. Otherwise this book was absolute perfection, and I couldn't put it down. This is the perfect book for anyone who loves closed door, slow burn romances with cute kids, found family, and a charming love interest!

Thank you Netgalley and Montlake Publishing for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This was such an adorable and sweet read.

Diana ,( our fmc) in desperation for money she needs to pay for her sister’s medical treatment, ,lies on a job application about her qualifications to get the job (a live in nanny for a five year old boy) . While working, she meets Griffin (mmc), an English Earl – a total charmer and ever so gentlemanly!
I also liked the relationship between Diana and Milo (the little boy she nannies)

Tropes included:
• Friends to lovers
• Hidden identities
• Slow burnnnn!!!
• Royalty

This book is for those lovers of Cinderella and Prince Charming, it it the remake/modern version of the fairytale and it has lots of similarities to the fairytale like Diana constantly losing her shoes.😂

The story
Diana Parker has got a job as a nanny to young Milo for a few months, and the pay will finally help her sister afford the kidney transplant that she needs. But Diana had to make up some facts to get the job, and she hates to lie. When she’s at a charity ball as a stand-in, she meets charming Griffin Windsor. He’s in Aspen looking after his niece and the two keep running into each other. Is this the making of a fairytale?

My thoughts
This remake / modern version of Cinderella has lots of similarities to the fairytale, but it had enough of its own story to carry it along. Diana’s constantly losing her shoes (borrowed and too big), a real hard luck story, and pretty penniless. Griffin is a total charmer and ever so gentlemanly. This is a sweet read, punctuated with a dose of navel-gazing about lying and worries about mismatched social station.

This book was a fun treat! I loved it! It was a good reset after I read a heavier book. It kept me flipping pages well past my bedtime!!

I just finished reading Cinder-Nanny by Sariah Wilson. I am a big fan of Ms Wilson’s and her Lovestruck novels are some of my favorites and on my read again list! I didn’t like this book as much as those or her Royal’s series, but it was still a good book. It follows the story of Diana, a down on her luck, high school dropout and Griffin, a playboy earl hiding out from the paparazzi. While I did like both of the main characters, I didn’t feel the chemistry between them as much as I would have liked. I also got kind of tired of all of Diana’s internal monologue. I know there was a point to it, but it was a lot. This book is only from Diana’s point of view, which I feel worked sometimes and didn’t work others. All that said, I did enjoy it a lot and give it 4 stars.

This was a cute and easy read about a nanny who ends up unexpectedly meeting a Royal.. The children in this story are adorable and a bit quirky ( ie knowing much about disease and odd facts). I also enjoyed the fact that there was a bit in the plot about child development and how best to support children in their learning (which since being an ECE was nice to see that come up in it). I would have liked to seen a bit more build up of banter and experience between the two main characters as their relationship developed as it felt just a little flat as times.

After not enjoying The Paid Bridesmaid because of the constant lying, I thought I’d give Sariah’s books another chance since I loved her previous romcoms. However, what I found here was more lying. Really not my cup of tea.

The one thing I love about a Sariah Wilson novel is knowing I'll have genuine laugh-out-loud moments. So many books are labeled rom com these days that never make me laugh. I had so many lines I highlighted that made me chuckle and I look forward to rereading the novel and laughing when I need a break from life.
The other thing I like about her novels is the romance. There's something about the sparks that go off between Diana and her not-a-prince hero. I also loved the nanny side, the location, and secondary characters in this book.
Another great read from Ms. Wilson.

If you mention Cinderella, I'm there!!! I've loved this fairytale story since I was a little girl. I used to watch the Disney version over and over and over again! I couldn't get enough. And Sariah Wilson, yep, I'm there too when I see books by her! Combine the two together and I'm hooked!

Y'all, this book!!! It did not disappoint! I was hooked from the beginning. I absolutely adored it. I was all in and totally invested in Diana and *said in a British accent* Griffin. Yep. Totally loved these two. From the beginning. Just all the happy sighs.

I thought maybe I'd be cringing at Diana's lie (no spoiler here cause it's in the synopsis) in possessing all these skills for the nanny job she got. Especially since her mom was a con-artist. But nope! Her character was written so well. I loved reading further and learning more and more about her. I adored her character. I'm pretty sure you will too. I was holding my breath a little in waiting for the shoe to fall about her lies. But, again, I loved how the author wrote it. *Happy sigh*

And Griffin. Ummm, there's a lot I could say about this Prince Charming Earl, Griffin Windsor. Yup. Lots!!! But I'll just say this...swoon! Hahaha! Seriously, you're going to love his character just as much as you'll love Diana's character. These two together are seriously adorable. I know I keep saying adorable but it's true. This book and its adorableness had me grinning goofily and giggling and sighing and just absolutely loving it all! I loved it!!!! Especially the ending. But all the in-between as well. *Another Happy Sigh*

Content: Clean. Some kisses but nothing further than kisses. Talk about a child born out of wedlock to other characters but nothing graphic. Super cute!

I received a copy from the publisher, Montlake, via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

I have been a fan of Sariah's writing for many years after stumbling across one of her books. Her ability to write a clean romance that is still engaging and enjoyable is a definite talent. Cinder-Nanny is a cute, fun read.

This is a fun twist on Cinderella, with a woman, who although she was raised by a con artist, desperately wants to be on the straight and narrow. She bends the truth to take on a nanny position in order to raise much needed funds for her ailing sister; meets an earl; and falls in love.

This one is full of swoony moments and playful banter. I found myself grinning a lot while reading it. I adored the relationship between kids Sophie and Milo and the found family aspects of how the Crawfords embrace Diana.

I was apprehensive about how things would play out; I thought they would be much angstier than they are. Thankfully, this one didn’t batter my heart too much in the third act.

The villain grandmother comes across as one dimensional. At some points I became a little frustrated with what felt like the main character’s need to overexplain the motivations behind her actions.

Cinder- Nanny is a cutesy new age spin on the Cinderella story. Dianna takes on a job as a nanny to help pay for her sister to receive a new kidney. She meets charming Griffin who is actually an Earl in hiding. They become friends which then leads to more.
The story was cute and the characters were likeable.
