Fun, sizzling sweet romance. There are obstacles for Diana and Griffin to overcome in this Cinderella inspired romance but they aren't exactly what you might expect. Refreshing.

I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately, it wasn't my cup of tea.

It was a sweet romance about Diana, who really needs a job to help her sister out of a tough health situation, and lies about her qualifications to be a nanny. and Griffin, England’s most eligible bachelor.

As the title says, this is a Cinderella story, that had all the elements to be a sweet Hallmark-style romance.

However, the oversimplified plot, the extremely PG rating and the excruciating slow burn, dampened the experience.

This is the fourth or fifth book I have read by this author. While I have greatly enjoyed the other books I have read (all 5 star ratings!), this one wasn't as great in my opinion. The romance and comedy just didn't make me swoon or laugh out loud. It was an entertaining story, but one I would only rate 3 stars.

If you’re a fan of Sariah Wilson’s you’ll enjoy this book. Diana takes a Nanny job for a rich family under the pretense that she has all the extra qualifications, she in fact does not. While playing Nanny she meets a young Earl, Cinderella style.

It’s a cute story, with fun and funny banter between the main characters. There is also a lot of interaction with the little boy, who Diana is the Nanny for. He definitely brings something extra to the story, and a lot of Griffey and Diana’s interactions happen with him around.

I really enjoyed how the story evolved and Giffin is just the sweetest kindness hero. Super swoon worthy. Overall a great, quick, feel good read.

What a fabulous book, wonderful characters and a bit of fairytale magic.

Diana is at a dead end, her sister needs money for a kidney transplant and Diana is willing to do anything to raise the money to make it happen, even apply for a job for a French speaking, skiing nanny for a precocious 5 year old called Milo living in a ski resort in Aspen.

Griffin is the Earl of Strathhorne and he would do anything for his brother even hide his neice Sophie in a ski resort in Aspen from his grandmother who doesn't even know she exists.

I loved this bookl, it had tags back to cinderella but also felt really modern,

I loved the fact that all the characters were flawed but that the flaws became their strengths, You get your HEA but its an enjoyable journey to get there.

Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Sariah Wilson has created another laugh-out-loud story with tons of heart. I loved Diana and her self-talk that was so honest, as far as she was able to be, and how she progressed. Ms Wilson has a talent for dialog that's both flirty and snarky at the same time and characters that I want to be friends with, just to talk to whenever I need a laugh. Griffin and Diana both were where they were due to loyalty to a sibling. After the initial attraction, they had much in common.
I loved this book. If you like strong characters with quirky humor, cute kids and a strong supporting cast, this will be fun for you, too.

This is a hard book for me to review. I have read and loved many of Sariah Wilson's books. I didn't love this one as much as I was hoping to. Cinder-Nanny had many of the things I have loved in Wilson's past books. The writing was great, the characters were very lovable, the romance was sweet, the side characters were so much fun, the whole Cinderella vibe was cute, and it was low on drama. What didn't work for me for the nature of the plot. This is totally a me thing and would probably not cause other people problems. I have a hard time when a romance is started based on a character's lies and Diana had some big lies going on. All those lies made me uncomfortable. I appreciated the moments she came clean and how it all worked out, but it made this story more stressful for me than I liked. If I hadn't been stressed by the lying, I probably would have given it a higher rating. It was still a good read, and I am sure many other readers are going to LOVE it.

This book had all of the elements it needed for the BEST clean romance! Such good chemistry between the two main characters! Their backstory was interesting, and I love that they both gave each other grace when it came to their faults!

Does anyone else remember watching a chick flick (back when they were still major motion pictures and not just Netflix originals) and getting completely swept up in the magic of a charming hero and sassy heroine? The same magic that prompts us to turn on our favorite romcom when we need a pick me up or we’re going through a bad break up or maybe we just need a night with the girls indulging in cheesy romance. Ladies and gents, Sariah Wilson has managed to completely capture the enchantment of a classic romcom in her new book, Cinder-Nanny.
Wilson weaves a spellbinding story of Diana Parker, a troubled heroine who just lied through her teeth to get a job as a nanny for the Crawfords, an affluent family living in Aspen for a few months before moving on to their new home in France. Diana is desperate for the salary to help her very sick sister. She’s an incredibly realistic character who is both flawed and loveable, and also guilt-ridden over lying to the family she’s come to work for. And when she meets the dashing and charming Griffin Windsor, Earl of Strathorne, she certainly isn’t willing to entertain entering a relationship with him.
Griffin is everything you could ever want in a hero or book boyfriend. Besides being tall, devastatingly handsome, charming, clever and a little cheesy, he’s also a member of the British peerage. His efforts at tempting Diana into a relationship are witty and endearing. His relationship with his niece is enough to send any reader's ovaries up in flames and he is the embodiment of everything you want in a romcom hero. From his conscientious treatment of Diana to the adorable nicknames that will leave your own heart pounding, Griffin proves himself to be the top tier of the romance hero pedestal. Seriously, you will fall in love with him.
While we enjoy Griffin and Diana navigating their growing feelings for one another, we can’t ignore the gems of the book: Diana’s new charge, Milo, a precocious five year old who might have a little bit of hypochondriasis; and Sophie, Griffin’s niece, who is obsessed with all the different ways the world could end. The two make an adorable pair of sidekicks who give Griffin and Diana more opportunities to see each other while also making sure that there is never a dull moment.
Wilson has brought to life a brilliant retelling of an old favorite full of heart pounding romantic tension between the love interests and rounding it out with wonderfully developed supporting characters. You will wish that you were being swept off your feet by a dashing English earl while cheering for the resilient heroine as she struggles, as so many of us do, with the residual trauma of her past. It is a page turner from start to finish and has effortlessly taken the place of Wilson’s other books on my favorites list. I guarantee that I will come back to this book again and again, reveling in the delightful and captivating characters and wishing that it will never end.

Cinder-Nanny was definitely a cute and cheesy romance with the right amount of comedic moments.

Griffin was charming, and funny in the most sarcastic way (which I love). Diana’s love and loyalty to her sister was heartwarming and I understood why she had these walls she refused to let Griffin knock down. But sometimes the inner dialogue became too much, and it took away a bit of the flow of the story. It would become too repetitive to the point where I found myself losing focus of the book.

Other than that, the plot itself was entertaining and it was cute to see how Griffin and Diana were like a breath of fresh air for each other. She needed him just as much as he needed her.

And I cant forget about all the other characters I loved! Milo and Sophie were precious. Sheila was incredibly kind and easy to love. Alice was just a great sister. Overall it was a very wholesome and sweet book.

Well-known romance author has written another delightful romance novel with her latest release, "Cinder-Nanny." In her newest book, Diana Parker is a young lady who is desperate to find the money to help her sister pay her overwhelming medical bills. Determined not to follow in her con-artist mother's footsteps, Diana tries to find a job that will pay enough, but all she can find is a job being a nanny for a wealthy family in Aspen. Diana is overwhelmed, but does her best to meet their requirements and even begins to love this family and sweet little Milo. Along the way, she meets Griffin, an earl who is hiding out in the US because of his overbearing family matriarch, his grandmother. When Griffin and Diana meet, sparks fly and a sweet, flirty relationship slowly develops.

I enjoyed the honesty between Griffin and Diana, as well as the way they allowed things to develop naturally. This was a really cute book, and I really enjoyed it! Thanks to Net Galley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

A dreamy five-star read. As you read this story you will feel for Diana Parker, she struggles every day, and when you read her story, you understand why she struggles. Watching her realise what’s important in life and that important things mean that white lies can be okay, and its Griffin Windsor that shows her how true that can be. Its sweet and romantic, it will warm you up like a roaring fire. Milo will just make you chuckle and when you add Sophie to the mix, well they just make your smile so much bigger. This is a great story and it will keep you smiling all of the way through.

Brief Synopsis: Diana takes a job as a nanny for a rich family in Aspen Colorado. She lies on her application about her qualifications but needs the large amount of money she will get to pay for her sister’s medical bills. Diana Mets Griffin who is an Earl is rich, handsome and so charming… definitely fits a fairy tale but will Griffin be able to accept Diana’s past? Will a nanny be good enough for an Earl?

My thoughts
-I loved Diana and Milo ( the boy she nannies for) relationship. They bond right away and help each other learn and try new things. They both help each other grow so much.
- Griffin a true Prince Charming in every way!
-I love princesses and fairy tales and this was a modern day fairy tale!

Overall this book was so adorable! I highly recommend it if you like a Prince Charming, you love fairy tales and you enjoy cheesy romances that will make you smile!

Cinder-Nanny

Sariah Wilson

Publication: June 21, 2022

Cinder-Nanny is a contemporary tale of the Cinderella story with a unique twist. Diana, raised by a con artist mother, is afraid to follow in her footsteps. Diana, however, has pure intentions and even though she is in a situation where she has to lie, she still manages to be selfless. Griffin is an Earl taking care of his niece who fate keeps crossing his path with Diana. While it is easy to see a happily ever after is in the making, there is plenty of in between moments to get to that end. The romance was sweet, but oh my…Milo and Sophie were even sweeter (the hypochondriac and the dooms day girl!) so much about those two just cracked me up!
This is a nice, clean rom-com story with some deeper topics lightly mixed in.

Diana would do anything for her older sister, Alice, In desperate need of a kidney transplant Diana is pleased that she is a match, however, due to Alice's ex-husband taking her off his health insurance (despite the courts ordering him to put her back on), they need $40k in order for the operation to go ahead. This is why Diana is leaving her flatshare in Maine behind to head to Aspen for three months to become a nanny. A role she has bluffed her way into but hopes she can pull it off.

Starting to find her feet in Aspen she attends a charity dinner on behalf of the Crawfords where she meets Griffin, an English Earl. Whilst she would love to have a little romance, there are bigger things at play have so she needs to concentrate on her job. Realising that they are both staying in the same hotel, their paths keep crossing which is good in a way as Milo is able to make friends with Griffin's niece Sophie - drawing them closer together.

With her sister and her boss telling her to live a little Diana relaxes around Griffin and confesses some truths about how she got this job and her past. Coming from two different worlds there is no way that they can ever have a future? Diana always opts to run rather than face the consequences.

This book gave me butterflies from the moment Diana and Griffin met! The flirtatious comments and the chemistry between the characters kept me from wanting to put the book down. This is a clean romance novel.

Cinder-Nanny is a sweet romantic comedy that features appealing characters and explores the Cinderella trope in an engaging way. The story is a fun escapist read, but even in my willing state of suspended disbelief, there were a few things that just didn't ring true for me. For one thing, I found Diana's character to be a little too naive and innocent for someone with her backstory--it seems to me that she would necessarily have a harder shell, considering her childhood traumas. The relationship with Griffin is touching and tender, and his devotion and trustworthy character make it seem unlikely that he would fail to stand up to his grandmother at the climax of the story in the way he did. Even though he clearly had the tendency to panic at the unexpected, knowing his grandmother as he did, wouldn't he be a bit more ready for her machinations and a bit more determined to resist? It didn't seem likely that he would have been as unprepared as he apparently was. I'd like to rate the book as 3.5 or 3.75 stars since the writing was good and I enjoyed the story and the characters, but that's not an option and I couldn't quite rate it as a four-star.
