I'm really cringing typing this review out right now because this book was just not for me. It's a great premise. The characters seemed fine (save Griffin . . . he was flat.) But . . . it was a little boring. It took me four days to get to 25% in a Sariah Wilson novel. That is like, unheard of. It wasn't exciting enough, flirty enough, enticing enough to grip me to want to read it. So it took me four days and a forcing of myself to read it one night when I couldn't fall asleep. And I still couldn't do it. I DNF'd this one, much to my heart's dismay.

Con artist's daughter? Love it. Retelling of Cinderella? Love it. No big twist at the end where her employers find out the truth and pull the rug? Love it. The rest? Griffin? Did not love. Very insta-love with not a ton of substance underneath. He was awkward to read because of his nobility and speech pattern. His insta-love and the fact that the reader knows he's the male lead felt a little creepy and forced. Their second chance meet cute at the ball lacked the normal Sariah Wilson pizzazz with witty banter and palpable chemistry. That was mostly the reason I couldn't bring myself to read more.

I will retry this book someday. Perhaps closer to publication since I'm planning on waiting to post my official review? And I will absolutely be back to read Ms. Wilson in the future. But for now, I will be curled up on this dreary, rainy day, rereading some of my favorites of hers.

I really enjoyed this book by Sariah Wilson. It was very well done and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

A cute rom-com that is a retelling of Cinderella. It is the typical rom-com plot line where there’s a lie and drama occurs when the truth comes out. But the execution makes the reader want to continue reading. Definitely a read for those who love fairytales and cheesy rom-com movies

Let me start off by saying that I'm a big fan of Sariah Wilson's books. I love a good romance and this was no exception! I was cheering for Diana (a nanny) and Griffin (an Earl) and their unlikely romance in this cute modern retelling of Cinderella. The only thing that I wish happened, was more time in the book where they were actually together as a couple! Too much time spent as friends. But all in all, a solid 4 star book!

I loved this book. It would be fun to discuss where a hole is good and where it isn’t. Cute story and fun illustrations.

Sariah Wilson has another winner in Cinder-Nanny. This book is truly a delightful story that checks all the boxes and leaves the reader with such a contented, happy feeling at the end of the book. Again, Sariah managed to create a unique and entertaining story with super fun, witty and lovable characters. Like any story, the characters are flawed and need to experience some sort of growth or change in order to achieve their happily ever after and I love that Diana chose that path herself. She had help, of course, but she owned her choices and chose to be honest because she wanted to be, and not from ultimatums or "being found out" first and that was refreshing. Griffin is totally and completely swoony and dreamy and I loved the nods to fairy tales and prince charming. Sariah writes really great banter between the characters and I appreciated that it wasn't overly snarky and rude, but there was just so much fun and flirting going on between them that it left me smiling. I loved this modern fairy tale and think that everyone deserves a support system like Alice, Griffin and the Crawfords. Cinder-Nanny is a wonderful read that I completely recommend.

Diana is a really likable character, to see her struggle with morality is worth reading. I enjoyed reading her journey throughout the book. Griffin, aka our prince charming; I didn't find him charming at all, it was insta-love for him. His personality as an earl was quite dull for me.

I had expected more from this book, but was bit of a let down. I rate it two stars only cause of the writing and Diana's character.

I was excited to get approved for this book. I've really enjoyed Sariahs books. This had an element of a grittier background with our main character and she had a lot of guilt and insecurities and it was nice to see her learn from that. Griffin was so sweet. His attempts at wooing Diana were super cute and swoony. Overall it was a cute clean romcom

What a sweet little read with an even sweeter Prince Charming. What’s a few white lies for a worthy cause? This book follows nanny Diana as she heads to Colorado to take care of a young boy, except she has no experience. She meets an almost-prince and gets herself into plenty of sticky situations. A fun read with nods to the original Cinderella story.

What a sweet, clean, happy read! Sometimes I like simple, feel-good stories that aren’t drenched in angst. This one fit the bill perfectly!

Diana is a girl with a past haunted by a con-artist mother. She tries to step out of her mother’s shadow and does quite well with that. While temporarily in a new city for a nanny job, she meets a man that she is instantly attracted to, and he to her, but she has never had luck in the love department and fears a heartbreak when their temporary visits to the same city end. Griffin is a British earl in hiding from his grandmother and the paparazzi. He instantly pursues Diana despite her mixed signals on wanting him yet wanting to protect her heart.

Diana is her own worst enemy in this story. Because of her past, she assumes that she is too tainted to have anyone actually love her and that everyone will eventually leave her. Griffin is a true gentleman who is willing to do whatever he needs to do to convince Diana to give him a chance.

The secondary characters are lovely. Diana’s sister, Alice, is her confidant and advice-giver. Despite her serious health issues, which gets this whole ball rolling, she is a strong and caring sister. Sheila, Diana’s nanny employer, is a kind soul. She is so understanding; almost too understanding. The kids, Milo and Sophie, were so cute! Milo, with his fascination with diseases and illnesses, and Sophie, with her knowledge of natural disasters, made the cutest little friend pairing! I truly enjoyed all of the characters!

The only critique I would make is that Diana’s coming-clean was almost too easy. Everyone was instantly ok with her confessions of lying. It wasn’t necessarily a surprise with Griffin, because, really, what she was hiding was really not a deal breaker. I expected a little more of an issue when Shiela, her employer, found out, but Shiela was cool with it, too, mostly because Diana’s accomplishments as Milo’s nanny outweighed her lies. Perhaps it just wrapped up so quickly that I wondered where the fallout was. But there doesn’t always have to be a fallout, I’ve found. And for an angst-free read, this ending was quite appropriate.

This book was all kinds of goodness: swoony, clean steamy, and full of main character chemistry. It’s a strong 4.5 stars for me!

What a cute story!!! Sariah has done it again! This story about Diana and Griffin. Diana has gone to work as a nanny to help earn money to help with her sister's medical bills. She meets Griffin who ends up being part of the Royal Family and their chemistry is immediate! The dialogue in this story is my favorite, so swoony and snarky at the same time. I love that she creates a wonderful and romantic story without all the garbage. This is another great book from Sariah!

Like the title implies, this is a Cinderella-type story about Diana who takes a nanny job in Aspen. Instead of a prince, we have Griffin who's a reluctant English earl watching his niece and trying to stay low.

As far as rom-coms go, this hits all the points like a Hallmark movie kind of story. I liked the children and how they were portrayed, and the ending was a nice touch.

It was a quick read and it kept me engaged, but it's not one of my favorites from the author.

Oy, that was so adorable!
Usually I don't like those books ... you know...the ones where we know from the beginning that it's all a lie and the truth will come out and there will be the fight and the break up and the make up. I hate those unnecessary drama moments.
BUT - I loved this story! Because all those things were done so beautifully undramatically that I don't have a thing to complain about!

Diana is so adorable - she talks a bit too much about all the criminal stuff her mother taught her and how she's such a bad person bla bla. But we still love her. And Griffin is just too sweet. All proper and British and hot and kind and funny.
And the kids - too adorable for words! Milo the hypochondriac! Hilarious!
I loved the whole cast - well, not the grandma - she's horrible!

This was such an adorable and sweet and funny and sparky romance. I didn't even miss the missing sexy moments. The sparks were enough!

I soo need to see this on TV one day!
The people, the location. This just needs to be on a screen!

I love love love anything that sariah Wilson writes. As usual, I could not put it down once I started it. I loved the genuine characters and story line

Great book. Of course it’s a work of fiction so the characters don’t always act like real life. It’s also a romance novel, so of course there’s relationship drama. The language was easy to understand. The pace of the plot was good. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I absolutely loved this book! I knew going in that I would because 1- it's by Sariah Wilson, who has yet to write anything I haven't loved, 2- it is a modern twist on all things fairytale, and 3- the leading man is a freaking British EARL! I mean, could a romance loving reader really ask for more??

I loved Diana, the leading lady and reluctant Cinderella, refusing to be swept up by the dashing Griffin. And let me say, she held out a lot longer than I thought she would, but it made the slow burn of their romance practically scorch the page by the time they finally got together. *SWOON* Diana was tough as nails, but so hilarious, sweet, kind and selfless. A heroine that I rooted for from beginning to end. And Griffin, well...let's just say he's my new book boyfriend.

I loved that while there was definitely conflict and the inevitable relationship hurdles that every romance book has, there wasn't a simple misunderstanding that led to hugely overdramatic reactions from the characters that could have just been solved with a 5 minute conversation. No, Griffin and Diana had actual obstacles to overcome, and because their characters were fleshed out so well, the reader could easily understand and relate to their hardships. None of the silly angst that leads to readers wanting to throw the book across the room. :) And because of that realness, the resolution is so much more satisfying. I love a happy ending, but even more than that, I LOVE an epilogue. That tiny peek into the "happily ever after"- it's like the cherry on top of the ice cream sundae!!

This book was just an all around fun and delightful way to spend a day, and it's a modern day fairytale that I know I'll come back to again and again. Thanks for yet another sweet treat, Sariah!! Keep 'em coming, please and thank you!! :)

This story had me crying at one point. And I don’t even know why. Hahahaha. But I love love love LOVE it so much. I love Diana. I love Griffin. Milo and Sophie are adorable.

There are parts that are oh so swoony. Some heat and steam. The chemistry was off the charts. There are witty lines that had me snort-laughing. Everything worked and clicked for me.

Sariah Wilson, you have another bestselling wonder of a book with Cinder Nanny!! Thank you so much for writing stories like this that make my heart sing. You freaking rock!

Lovely book!! I adored all that characters and the development was great throughout. Kept me wanting more. I would definitely recommend!
