Poppy Harmon and the Backstabbing Bachelor is a charming mystery featuring a retired actress from the 1980s who now works as a private detective in Palm Springs. This is the fourth book in the Poppy Harmon series, but the first that I have read.

This is a fun cozy mystery that moves along at a brisk pace. Poppy and her cohorts Violet and Iris take down a ring of criminals who are bilking older individuals out of their money. This sets off a chain of events that leads to a murder, mayhem, and a reality dating show.

Poppy is an energetic and forceful character and she makes for a great point of view character for the mystery. She leads the reader through a tale full of twists, turns, and mistaken identities.

This was a fun read!

I loved reading this cozy mystery.

The fourth book, Poppy Harmon and the Backstabbing Bachelor has Poppy Harmon investigating another murder. It's a fun story and easy to follow. It had me guessing until the very end.

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, Kensington Books and by #NetGalley. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

The fourth Desert Flowers cozy mystery in the series. Poppy doesn’t fail to delight and entertain us again with her investigating and way with people.
