Always love reading the newest Witch City Mystery, and this one is just as enjoyable as the others. It felt like their were two plots that were brewing the whole time - yet one of them goes nowhere. Once I got over expecting something else to happen, the book was fun to read and a bit more steeped in mystery than the previous installments. Worth picking up!

This IS the 12th book in the series, while it technically COULD be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading the others in the series first

Thank you Netgalley, for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are mine and mine alone.

Part of a series but works as a standalone. Enjoyable characters and setting. The first half of the book revolves around a wedding and the appearance of an ex-con which is a concern to all involved, but after the wedding, the plot heads in a different direction.

ARC via Net Galley. All opinions are my own.

A wedding, a new character, pirates and treasure, old hurts and mysteries await readers in the latest Witch City Mystery. After a beautiful and heartwarming wedding, Lee and Pete celebrate their honeymoon by taking a road trip through Maine. A haunting location, for Lee, is Pirate's Island where her parents died in a plane crash. Learning more about her parents last days and getting to the bottom of two mysteries on the island, with help from O'Ryan, may prove a threat to their "Happily Ever After"!

Reading Til'Death is like having three mysteries in one book! The wedding of Lee and Pete was so sweet and the questionable new boarder, at Aunt Ibby's new B&B, was perfect. Lastly, Lee and Pete's Pirate Island adventure kept the mystery going...I don't want to say too much but I couldn't put the book down! It was fun to see another side of Lee and Pete as a married couple and O'Ryan is his usual mysterious and charming self along with Aunt Ibby and the Angels. Not only was the mystery great, but the descriptions of coastal Maine were gorgeous! I felt like I was right there on a road trip and sleuthing. After reading the last few sentences, I can't wait for the next book!

I received an ARC from NetGalley and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Another fun Salem, Massachusetts psychic mystery, with Lee Barrett and her newlywed husband Pete off to Maine for their honeymoon. A mystery revolves around Lee's parents last days before their deaths and a pirate treasure. A fun cozy by Carol J Perry.

I discovered Carol Perry‘s “Witch City” cozy mystery series a couple years ago and now eagerly anticipate new entries in the series. This is the latest and it‘s just as much good cozy fun as her earlier books, if less “mysterious” than others, The first half of this book focuses on the personal life of main character Lee Barrett. The mystery being solved involves the deaths of her parents 30 years ago. A bit of a departure from previous series entries, but still enjoyable. If you enjoy cozies, give her a try. I recommend starting at the beginning and working your way through.

Through NetGalley, I received a free copy of ‘TIL DEATH (Book 12 of the Witch City Mysteries), by Carol J. Perry, in exchange for an honest review. Here comes the bride! Lee Barrett and Detective Sergeant Pete Mondello are on the count-down to their wedding. They’re packing up their belongings and hunting for a new place to live. Aunt Ibby even has a tenant signed up to move into Lee’s apartment! After the celebration, the Mondellos decide to check-in with relatives during their honeymoon driving tour of coastal New England. Even on vacation, the couple end up embroiled in a mystery.

I liked this book and enjoy the series. I’m interested in seeing what happens with the new character introduced in this book. I recommend this series to fans of supernatural and television themed cozy murder mysteries.

Continuing the adventures of Lee and Pete, this book is a more poignant story and just as interesting as her previous books have been. As cozy paranormal mysteries go, this series never disappoints. I received an e-book from NetGalley in return for an unbiased review.

'Til Death by Carol J. Perry (Witch City #12) 5 stars

Lee Barrett and her fiance Detective Sargent Pete Mondello are finally getting married. Wedding preparations abound and tying the knot goes without a hitch. Lee and Pete are going to be traveling in New England and one of the stops is an island off the coast of Maine. The island holds a special significance to Lee since her parents crashed on that island when she was a child. After her Aunt Libby gives her an emerald ring that belonged to her mother, it becomes imperative to find out what happened to her parents. Will her honeymoon trip bring closure and solve a historical mystery? You're going to have to read this book to find out.

I really enjoyed this mystery, it was suspenseful and interesting. The interaction between all the familiar characters is key to this successful series and it also introduces a new mysterious character in the mix. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

Thank you Netgalley and Kensington Books for this ARC.

I really like this series a lot. I have read them all and I find the characters fresh and fun. This particular entry was especially enjoyable as it brought in the main characters past and the death of her parents. I would recommend this to cozy fans who enjoy a bit of the supernatural.

Reading this series, brings back so many memories of Salem trips, along with a coworker's trip there herself this year. Never disappointed in visiting Lee and the gang and whatever they end up in, and this installment is no exception. An interesting combination between the wedding, and her parent's death that you will want to know what happens. Hoping for more in the future.

I've loved this unique series since book one.
Lee and her Aunt Ibby are two of my favorite characters, and of course, O'Ryan is my favorite cat.
In 'Til Death, Lee and her beau Pete finally tie the knot, buy their first home, and honeymoon in Maine, where Lee is finally able to understand her parents death.
Not only was this my favorite book, I was so excited to meet Lee's extended family, even if they are quite odd, and possibly murderers.
I grew up in Massachusetts, and yearly day trips to Salem are a favorite memory.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for selecting me to read an advanced copy of this book. I highly recommend this series by the talented Carol J. Perry.

Carol J Perry's books are so vivid you feel as if you are right there in Salem MA. She does not disappoint in Til Death when we see Lee is excited about her honeymoon in Maine. The problem is the honeymoon is near the site where her parents were killed.

Follow the mystery to find out what happens to Lee as she investigates. A great cozy mystery!!

Lee and Pete's wedding day has arrived and everything goes off without a hitch. The only sad part for Lee is that her parents aren't there for her big day. For their honeymoon, the happy couple has decided to head North to Maine and even plan to stop and see her Paternal Aunt. Seeing that her Aunt and Uncle were the last people to see her parents alive, she hopes that it may bring her some closure to hear some stories about her parents and see the place where their plane crashed.

When Lee and Pete arrive on Pirate's Island, her uncle greets them, but the welcome is less than warm for a second and they can't help but wonder what is going on. Hearing the stories about pirate treasure, they just think her aunt and uncle are drumming up business to keep their business thriving. But there's that little thing about Lee's visions that seem to be making both of them wonder what's really going on with her Aunt and Uncle.

As Lee and Pete ask questions about her parents it seems one of the employees was also there the day her parents died. Can they figure out what happened over thirty years ago, or is Lee reaching and just needs to let the memory of her parents rest in peace after all this time?

A great series that is set in Salem Massachusetts and keeps me coming back with each and every new entry. A solid whodunit, with some witchy vibes, one cool cat, and a great setting...what more can you ask for?

Til Death by Carol J. Perry is the twelfth book in Ms. Perry's Witch City Mystery series. What an exciting and entertaining cozy mystery! Not only do readers get to enjoy the wedding of WICH-TV program manager Lee Barrett and Detective Sargeant Pete Mondello, they get to enjoy how they solve the latest mystery in the series. This time the mystery hits very close to home for Lee Barrett. There's lots of intrigue and suspense as Lee and Pete's honeymoon ends up being quite a bit more eventful than they anticipated.

I enjoyed this fairly fast pace for a cozy mystery. I finished it in a few hours simply because I just needed to know how it ended.

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, Kensington Books and by #NetGalley. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

Yet another enjoyable addition to this cozy mystery series. Lee and Pete don’t fail to delight once again.

This series remains a delight - Perry's straightforward style somehow makes all the tarot, visions and witchcraft seem normal! Lee and Pete finally get hitched, and of course hijinks ensue. Is there going to be a spin-off series with Aunt Ibby and the Angels, plus a newly introduced character? I will keep reading everything she puts out.
