The title and synopsis drew me in but the book was not a hit for me. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me the chance to read and review it.

This was an interesting book and well written. It shows the lengths that the main character would go to to avenge her rape. On the face of it right up my street but I struggled a bit connecting.

When I read the description of this book, I thought it was an interesting premise. A young woman suffers the most heartbreaking moment of her life (she got raped); the only thing she wants is for justice to be done, but she cannot trust the system. The first few pages were entertaining. Wyn was trying to get in touch with her rapist, using social media and other methods to do it. However, once she finds him, things start to go downhill.
Wyn's plan was to marry him and find a way to get revenge for what he did to her years ago. When she marries him and her initial plans don't work out, she looks for another way to carry out her mission. As the book progresses, things begin to make no sense.
Putting that important detail aside, I wish there was more tension in the story. Much of the story involves planning the wedding, reading her mom's diary, and other conversations that I still don't understand why they're even there.
I had a hard time connecting with Wyn, and with her way of seeing things; to the point that when the grand finale came, it gave me exactly the same. I think the development of her character needed more work. The writing also felt rushed.
In conclusion, I was expecting something different from this book. I hope other readers like it more.

Mmmmmmm this book was definitely different?! I'm just not sure about it?! The main female character made some really crazy off the wall decisions ! this book had some suspense, intrigue, and an interesting but crazy storyline! I will recommend reading this book, its worth reading but its definitely different! Lol thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

The story and characters had a lot more promise than actually developed. I felt it lacked overall.

A fascinating concept but not as well executed as it deserves. The characters are only lightly developed, where greater engagement and empathy would have added a lot to the reader’s experience. There are some important fundamental messages here about justice, misogyny and right but they are somewhat lost in superficial dialogue and a lack of credibility.
