This book includes delightful illustrations with bright colors that will draw the eye.
The theme of this read is that child can grow up to be whatever they want! Written in prose and with the illustrations showing the different occupations.
What a great message for children!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Clavis, and was not required to give a positive review.

What an excellent message for young kids! It's great if you know what you want to be and it's great if you want to try on a lot of options and explore. A young boy admires his sister's dedication to her dreams, but wants to take his time and experience lots of different things. He affirms that he has lots of options and plenty of time to consider them.

The illustrations are tons of fun and have lots of neat details for kids to notice. The story is told in simple rhymes that flow nicely and there are lots of careers named to discuss with students. This would be a great circle time read and introduction to a career exploration unit. I would definitely get this for my school or classroom library for pre-K and early elementary!

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

Maybe I’ll Be by Adam Ciccio is a cute book about a young kid imagining all the things they could become when they grow up. It’s a great book for young dreamers, and the message of not being in a rush to pick a path in life is a valuable lesson for young audiences. The illustrations throughout the book are well-done and the art style is very cute, too! If you’re looking for a new book for your little one, definitely check this out!

Thanks to Netgalley and Clavis for a free digital copy.

A book about figuring out who you want to be and celebrating that that can be a process. It has a good message of some people know what they are destined for and some don't and that's okay.

Maybe I'll Be is a rhyming picture book with joyful illustrations that encourages children to dream big when imagining their future, but not compare themselves to others and their dreams.

Very welcome, this – I've seen no end of books that promise the youngster reading it that they can be whatever they want to be, but none that say 'there's no worry if you don't know yet, just carry on growing and making a better you; have no end of dreams but there's time to pick the right one'. Reading it at pace shows some flaws in the rhythm of the verse, and I just know the woke brigade will whinge about the lad thinking of wanting traditionally male careers, but I still appreciated this. The visuals are to a very fine and strong standard, as well.

The cutest storybook ever which I feel has the most important message of telling kids that it is okay to learn and explore first and think about what to choose as a career path in the future.

I just love the concept. The illustrations are playful and beautiful.

Thank you, Clavis Publishing, for the advance reading copy.

I love the message this book promotes: It's okay to dream and that no choices have to be made today. If you know what you want to be, we are sure you will achieve your dreams, but if you are still wondering what your dreams will be, do not rush and take your time. It is not a race and it is okay to just be.

I also enjoyed the variety of careers and trades showcased throughout the book and illustrations and it helps promote the very important idea that all jobs are meaningful and important.

The illustrations were also amazingly beautiful. Can't wait show this book to my little guy!
