The lovely illustrations will be able to captivate children, and they will enjoy following along on Sruff’s adventure to discover if he will be able to sniff out his lost blanket.

What an adorable book! A rambunctious doggo is on the hunt (sniff sniff) for his precious quilted blanket. He finds some snacks and makes a few other discoveries along the way ❤️

The story of a dog who lost his favorite blanket. Dogs' sense of smell is amazing, and this one use it to the full extent to find his beloved belonging. This is an easy read for kids, an entertaining one, and a good book to have for the new readers.

I swear this is my dog. It is. Scruffy is missing his blanket, and he decides to follow his nose to find it. He finds many fun things, and eventually even his blanket. But his blanket no longer smells like him. Time to fix that. This was a fun short read. It had a lovely cadence, and rhymed decently where it needed to. The illustrations were simple, but also complex and a perfect complement to the story.

Dog lovers of any age will love this one! The story is simple enough for even the youngest kids and the illustrations are fun and vibrant. I hope the artist releases some companion prints as I would love to look at the art every day when I need a smile.

What drew me into this book was the adorable cover illustrations, which continued throughout. The story was so cute and one I know that many toddlers/preK students will love! The author used rhyming to tell the story of this dog looking for his blanket and it was the perfect choice.

Sniff:

The illustrations are beautiful, stunning, and so, so pretty. Although the premise of the story looked promising, it fell short of my expectations. The story didn't really flow for me, from the halfway point onwards. But beyond that, the story is simplistic, as well as the language used. Overall, I just felt disappointed by the story, as it was too straightforward, and short.

Sniff is a comforting story about a dog and his favourite blanket.
This book made me smile, I think any kid who has had a favourite stuffy or blanket will relate to this loveable dog.
I loved the illustrations and the flow of the story. Excellent book.

This is a delightful book and Scruffy is an over-the-top adorable puppy! His personal blanket is a must-have as he loves to roll around on it and enjoy the smell of .... himself all over it! Scruffy's world is a happy place when he has his security blanket!

One day he can't find his precious blanket and he takes it upon himself to seek it out and retrieve it. After all it belongs to him right? His sense of smell kicks into high gear and Scruffy is off to engage in a search and rescue mission. He encounters smelly socks and tasty biscuits along the way but he remains focused on his goal. Finally he discovers his blanket and also discovers that it no longer smells like him? I wonder what made that change?

The illustrations are fantastic. They are kid-friendly, big, bold and colourful. Everyone will fall in love with Scruffy and want to adopt and bring him home. The rhyming text and playful language will have kids coming back again and again to enjoy this delightful story. I highly recommend it!

Sniff was an adorable and delightful read and even as an adult relatable when you lose your favourite sweater or comfort piece of clothing! I read it to my 3 month old daughter, and while she didn’t get the message of the book, we enjoyed the story and the illustrations. Would definitely recommend for any children ❤️

Sniff by Lynne Hudson is a cute book! It is easy for children to read and is the perfect length for a newer reader. The artwork is fun and appealing. The story made my daughter giggle. I enjoyed following Scruffy on his quest to find his blanket.

I have to say I absolutely loved this book! The illustrations are eye catching and so colorful. This will grab a child’s attention as it is being read to them.
Scruffy can’t find his blanket and goes on an adventure to find it.
I will be buying copies of this for my friends with children. And I love buying books for my friends who are teachers for their classroom.

A dog's favorite blanket goes missing and he let's his nose sniff out its whereabouts. Delightful illustrations of a dog with a large sniffer. Kids will giggle their way through the book as the dog finds a bunch of different smells, but none of the right ones. The rhyming text is forced in a few pages, but doesn't impact the story. My favorite page comes at the end and left me giggling inward at my own furry friends hijinks while looking for the right smell. Not a must have for the library, but if you have the budget, it would definitely be well-loved.

Very adorable artwork. The story is simple, a dog following his nose to find his blanket. He finds a lot of interesting smells along the way. Cute book but not something I’d buy and read again.

This book has bright, colorful illustrations. The text was great, I imagine this is what goes through the minds of puppies and dogs when they are sniffing.

Stories told my dogs are usually winners. This one is a little bit interactive (or could be, if you read it right.) The art is cute. The dog is easy to love. And kids will understand his drive to find and fix his blanket.
