Thank you for the arc, this was an enjoyable read.

A super quick and easy valentines read.

We have one romantic and a bit of a pessimist when it comes to love. As this is a pretty short read its a quick turnaround in the old love department. What I liked the most was that the guy is our romantic quite often it's the guy complaining about Valentine's so this aspect was great. I aksi liked the dual pov!

I enjoyed this a a short read that can be read between the longer heavier reads.

I didn’t see the romance at all. There was no development, the whole thing with the robbery took more page time than the actual romance.

This is my first book by Ms. Robinson and I enjoyed it very much. It was a cute and entertaining read with likable characters. I was looking for a light-hearted and fun read and this did not disappoint! With Valentine's day just around the corner, this is the perfect quick, fun, and lighthearted read to get you in the mood. Amara and Val both own businesses next to each other in the mall. A burglary occurs one day, and despite the fact that they constantly butt heads, they both work together to protect their respective businesses. As they spend more time together, they start to form a bond and the relationship grows into more. It was easy to get into the story right from the start, and it was a nice story to pick up for a quick, enjoyable read. A unique story, full of great moments, this book will pull you right in and keep you engaged and smiling all the way through. Great, fun read, and I would love to read more by this author.

I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

If you're looking for a sweet short story focusing on enemies-to-lovers in Valentine themed romance with a touch of mystery, this is definitely the book for you!

It was, however, not a book for me. I shy away from short stories, since I've learned they usually have the insta-love trope of which I am no fan. I prefer seeing a love story unfold over a reasonable amount of time, with lots of interactions for that love to grow. Evidently, a short story does not lend itself to letting much grow. So this one contains a bit of an insta-love along with the enemies-to-lovers trope, which is why I didn't enjoy it that much and why I gave it a 3,5 star rating. If you don't mind the insta-love trope, I can see you enjoying this so much you'd rate it a 4 or even 5 stars, because it does fulfill all the expectations.

HOWEVER! Yes, there is a however. I absolutely loved the writing style of Sarah Robinson. I'd been following her for a while and was really excited to finally be able to read one of her books. I loved how her writing made reading effortless and how little jokes were inserted throughout the books. I found myself smiling and snort-laughing throughout the entire book. I also liked that there was an additional plotline to the romance and how it was all wrapped up at the end.

So, it's definitely worth picking up as a quick getting-in-the-mood-for-Valentines read! But it sadly just wasn't for me.

This was a super quick read for me. It was a cute romance story. I couldn't really see myself connecting with either character but cute quick read nevertheless!

Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read this book.

A lovely quick read.

Amara Hart owns and runs a game arcade. When her neighbours Val’s shop is robbed they team up to try and catch the robbers if they decide to strike again. Spending so much time together they fall for each other and decide to give love a shot.

While I enjoyed this book, it read more like a short story.
It was an easy read, centered around a jewelry theft. Perfect story for Valentine’s Day afternoon.
The main character owns a retro arcade and her mall neighbor experiences a theft at his business. They investigate themselves and then the story wraps itself up quickly with a predictable epilogue.

This is a fun and light-hearted romance novella that will put you in the mood for Valentine's Day! Although cheesy at times (it's a rom-com after all), I liked that it was an easy read which gave me only positive feelings - no stress or frustration over the story or characters at all.

I also enjoyed the social commentary about Valentine's Day from both sides of the spectrum (cynic versus romantic). While I would have liked Amara and Valentino's relationship to have been more developed, it was a cute story overall.

Fans of the grumpy/sunshine trope and those looking for a light, breezy read will enjoy this one.

Very short but cute novella. Didn't really get to know the characters well, and it was insta love, but glad the mystery was solved. Going to read Sarah Robinson's full length book next and see what that's like.

This was such a cute fun quick novella that really gets you on the mood for Valentine’s Day! This story follows Amara a geeky gamer girl who dislikes Valentine’s Day one day the power goes out in her arcade and then she hears the jewelry next door was robbed. The owner of the jewelry store Val and Mara stay the night to make sure no one breaks in and the enmities to lovers romance begins!
I really enjoyed this story I loved Amara and really found it easy to release to her and enjoyed Val as well the side story was a good little mystery as well that kept me entertained. I just wish there was more since I really liked the characters. I would like to thank Netgalley and the publishers for a chance to read this novella for an honest review.

Mall You Need is Love is a novella by Sarah Robinson. A very quick read brimming with Valentine's Day theme. This was super cheesy, with a bit of a "enemies to lovers" trope and it had potential, unfortunately Ms Robinson missed the mark.

There's hardly any chemistry between the 2 main characters and barely any sizzle, I'm guessing this is clean romance? Valentino is supposedly the Yule Heights Casanova, which he claimed to be inappropriately labelled. We never really truly get to see that the rumours around his Lothario ways were grossly exaggerated. Amara's character is kind of adorable but still lack of depth. She's supposed to be very jaded in love and preferred to remain single, however after spending a few hours with Val she suddenly have a change of heart? Just. Doesn't. Compute.

If you're looking for a very quick read with hardly any character development or chemistry between 2 main characters, give this book a try. It might not be up my alley, but it might be yours. Thanks NetGalley for this copy, this is my honest review.

This was cute! I like the idea of falling in love at the mall. I also love that the protagonist is a woman that owns an arcade. Women video gamers have a bad rep, so I like that the author chose to highlight this attribute.

On a different note, the story "cleaned up" way too quickly. It felt like the author rushed it.

Mara is busy running her video game store when a robbery next door at the jewelry store changes her whole life. Valentino Rossi wasn’t impressed with the owner of the video game store…until he meets her. I loved the way Sarah Robinson brought the characters together and the epilogue melted my heart.

This book was the epitome of wholesome!
I really enjoyed it!
The writing style was fresh and the characters had the best sense of humor (it reminded me of mine lol).
My only complaint is the fact that it was really short and I wanted more of Amara and Valentino.

This is a fast-paced novella that is great for getting out of a slump. There was a line that i felt was unnecessary to address but overall 3/5⭐️.

If you are looking for a cute Valentine’s day novella then this is for you. Amara owns a arcade in a shopping mall. The arcades electricity goes off one day when she goes to fix the electricity she sees that the back door is open. Later she finds out about a robbery that happened at Kisses and Karats Jewel that Valentino Rossi owns. Valentino and Amara work together to figure out who broke into Kisses and Karats Jewels.

Cute, quick enemies to lovers story. The characters were lovable and the HEA was just right! I would love to see this as a full length novel where all the characters and their relationships could develop more!

I had fun reading this. It was a fast paced valentine's day romance with a bit of mystery... super fun. I laughed super hard with the racoon scene, but... If this one had more spice, I wouldn't mind the instalove but it didn't so this was just okay.
