A fun, short romance novel for a lazy afternoon. Set around Valentine's Day, this short story will put a smile on your dial.
This couple work next door to each other, thrown together over a robbery will the attraction show. Nothing dramatic and heavy here, just a corny romance which I enjoyed very much.

Mall You Need is Love is a cute Valentine’s Day romance novella. Amara Hart owns the arcade in the local mall. Her store shares a wall with a high-profile jeweler. When the jewelry store is robbed, Amara and the store owner, Valentino Rossi, form a neighborhood watch-type partnership. As opposite as you can get, Amara is not an endless romantic, or even a romantic of any type, and Valentino is as hopeless romantic. As they spend more time together trying to solve the theft in his store, Amara and Valentino being to connect on a personal level.

The story is cute, and I enjoyed Amara and Valentino’s story. The novella doesn’t have a lot of depth or character development, but the tale is light and fun, despite the theft. The characters are likable in this opposites-attract story, and I enjoyed reading about their budding relationship. Readers looking for a short, sweet, Valentine's Day romance will enjoy Mall You Need is Love.

If you like hallmark movies, you will enjoy this book. It was a cute, and quick read. Though quick, the story wrapped up nicely.

**this arc was kindly provide by NetGalley - all thoughts an opinions are my own**

this book was a fairly quick read, loaded with such enjoyable cheesy romance. The characters had a great banter and was a very fitting read seeing as how Valentine's Day is just around the corner. I flip flop between loving and despising Valentine's Day, so it was refreshing to see a character who shared their view of not enjoying the holiday.

this story would work great to get out of the reading slump

When she turned to look at him, she found him standing hand-in-hand with Santa.
Not that she believed in Santa. But she sure as hell believed in the chiseled jaw and piercing blue eyes partially hidden under a messy white wig and fake beard.

Chrissy couldn't help but notice the handsomeness under the horrible Santa suit. What she couldn't figure out is why her son dragged Santa to her workplace to meet her.

Dash, the man in the horrible Santa suit, had no idea what he had just gotten himself into. The kid, Rudy, who dragged him to meet his mom wanted him to help teach her to drive. The more he talked to Chrissy, he realized she wasn't looking for help. That didn't mean he didn't want to help - and get to know her, as well.

What starts off as a friendship grows to be more. Something wonderful that makes these three a family!

Fun and sweet novella. Amara is passionate about gaming and owns an arcade at the mall which I love. Her neighbor is Val, a jewelry store owner, that doesn’t appreciate when the kids get loud. Both of them have struggled in the love department but a break-in forces them together to police the mall. Will this unlikely duo realize that they have more in common than they thought possible? What a wonderful setting and great characters that provided me a sweet escape. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

A great quick read to read over the valentines weekend. This incredibly cute, valentines novella is a great read to get you out of a reading slump. Val and Mara are refreshing characters to read and their individual thought processes help the storyline play out without being too over-developed. Soooooo cute and adorable.

This novella was a great interlude into Valentines Day. It was such a cute happy go lucky read. There were even parts of it that had me laughing out loud. I love the paring of the alternative arcade owner and the Casanova jewelry store owner. Overall a great happily ever after.

Amara Hart is dreading Valentine's Day. After being cheated on by her ex she has no love for the holiday. Amara would rather just enjoy running Rad Retro Arcade which she opened three years ago. Unfortunately the owner of the store next door, Kisses and Karats Jewelry, just loves the holiday. From what she's heard, Valentino Rossi is a real Cassanova!

When Val's business gets robbed, Mara and Val end up spending the night guarding their businesses together. Of course the more time these two spend together, the more the sparks start to ignite. Just when it looks like Mara has given up on love, Val ends up helping her see it in a different light.

This was a sweet, fun novella where the heroine finds love when she isn't even looking for it. I really liked this cute story with fun, likeable characters.

This is a cute and quick read just in time for Valentines Day. A romantic comedy with characters that hate each other but at the same time there’s that spark that you can’t ignore. Check this one out to see what happens.

Quick and punny :)

What can you expect from a book where the hero is called Valentino Rossi?!

This was a happy surprise, the story of how Amara, a mall arcade owner started to believe in love for herself while helping her - ex-infuriating- shop neighbor.

While their connection was not enough for my tastes, the book was full of puns, smiles and some heartfelt scenes. What more can you ask for a small valentine's day book?!

I received a copy of this in order to provide my honest opinion.

Get yourself in the mood for V Day with this sweet, smexy little gem of romance! It has opposites attract, forced togetherness and, of course, pretty much instant chemistry.

Well-paced but still fast-moving. There are both sides of the story given in dual POV. I would have loved this as a full-fledged book as I feel we lost so much of the story and background subplot.

The epilogue did feel a wee bit forced so it's really a 3.75 stars if I'm honest but I round up LOL.

A great little nugget to fill a lunch hour for me!

Jaded-by-love Amara Hart owns a retro-style gaming arcade in the local shopping mall that is bustling full of people who’d rather play Pac-Man than have a candlelit dinner with the charming Casanova store owner next door. Despite her cynicism toward anything roses, Amara finds herself agreeing to help Valentino Rossi when his store is robbed a few days shy of Valentine’s Day—his biggest annual moneymaker. Determined to prove love me tender is more than a retro ballad, Valentino sets out to give Amara a Valentine’s Day she’ll never forget.
A well written quick read ideal for this time of year, it was fun, light hearted & made me smile. The characters weren’t fully developed but that's difficult in a novella, the pace was good & I read it in a sitting
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

Amara runs her own arcade store in a mall. The electricity goes out one day at her store and she’s goes to the back room to locate the circuit breaker. When everything is back in, she sees that the back door is open.

Once back in her store she hears of a robbery that’s taken place in the nearby jewellery store Kisses and Karats.

The owner to that jewellery store is Valentino, a believer that love is endless and wants to ensure everyone expresses it through jewellery.

After being advised by the police to start a neighborhood watch, both were the first to enlist in this. Throughout the night they get to know each other.

This sweet novella will get you feeling the valentines vibes or help you out of a reading slump as it is a super quick read.
This cute, fast paced novella follows two perspectives (Amara and Valentino). They own stores next to one another in the mall. Amara is cynical of love and Valentino is her complete opposite. When Valentino’s store gets robbed, Amara is pushed to help the two realize they are not as different as they may think.

Although this book is super cheesy I really enjoyed the quick pace and fun storyline. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a quick, fun, lighthearted romance. If you love opposites attract and close proximity you will really enjoy this one.

Thank you NetGalley & Author Collective 20 for gifting me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A Valentine's Day novella? Yes, please. I loved this. It's so cute. Grumpy sunshine is one of my favorite tropes. Amara is anti Valentine’s Day, for good reasons, of course. Valentino is so happy and excited over Valentine's Day even when he is single. This is a fun, humorous, quick read. The ending though. I cried. Highly recommend!

I didn't realise that this was only a short novella when I agreed to read it. Mall You Need is Love is a great, quick read and easy to get through in one sitting. Personally, I would have preferred a full-length book with a lot more back-story and romantic build-up, and if that had been the case I would probably have given it at least one more star.

That aside, it was a happy, hearts and flowers sort of read, with a happy ending and lots of characters that could have been developed. If the author has the time, maybe she would consider re-writing this into a proper novel with all the bells and whistles.

Thank you to NetGalley and Author Collective 20 for the opportunity to read and review an ARC of Mall You Need is Love by Sarah Robinson.
