This was a fun little read.
Enemies to lovers.
Fake dating.
Marriage of convenience.
If you suspend your disbelief for a lot of the plot points this is a fun romance, not too deep, and a great pallet cleanser.

I loved this one!! The rivalry offered up some hilarious moments, but overall the characters were really loveable and the book itself was easy to read and overall really enjoyable!

I love enemies to lovers and marriage of convenience tropes.

It was a slow burn where we also didn’t really get to see any of them together

Although I enjoyed this book to some degree. I didn't end up liking it so much as I thought I would. For some reason I didn't really vibe with the main characters and that's why I wasn't so interested in the story as much. I liked that it was dual pov as this is always great to see in romance books.

I was so excited for this one, as it has some of my favorite but tropes...but it was just not for me. It was way too slow burn, the plot was uninteresting, and I didn't really love Posy or Lucas.

This was a brilliant read.
Posy and Lucas had each wanted to swerve their high school reunion but both attend under duress and bump into each other but still appear to hate each other like they did all those years ago. However, a perfect storm of complicated situations see them working together to kick start Posy’s career and save Lucas’s, as long as they don’t fall in love!
This book was so much fun to read and the chemistry between the characters was wonderful.

LOVE A GOOD ENEMIES TO LOVERS! as someone who's 10 year reunion is coming up soon I love the plot of this one. I really enjoyed their interactions and when they finally got together I was so excited to see where it would lead to.

The tropes this book included are some of my favorite as a romance reader. The beginning of the book was a little slow for me but it picked up about halfway through and really captured my attention. I didn’t feel much for the heroine Posy until she started showing her more vulnerable side to Lucas and proved that she wasn’t just a disposable, rich, entitled brat. Lucas was a likable character from the start and I really liked the character development he went though by the end of the book. The whole premise of the story was pretty far fetched and laughable but I actually enjoyed the absurdity of it. The fake marriage was just the start of the shenanigans. Include the oversight by the college’s staff and it just felt like nothing was going to work out.

The relationship that forged between the two main characters was sweet. I liked how they became friends and started confiding in each other. Their love was pretty fast, given the timeline of the story but it wasn’t over the top unrealistic.

The Reunion was a delightful debut novel and I thought overall it was a good love story. The book was a little on the wordy side and could have flowed better with some more editing but all in all, I liked it.

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for my e-ARC cope of The Reunion by Elizabeth Drummond. While I gave this book 3 stars it was more a 2.5. The storyline had a lot of potential, but for me, I couldn't connect with the main characters to fully immerse myself in the story.

I'm not sure if I have read too many of this kind of book recently but I just didn't enjoy this one at all! Enemies to lovers can be a great trope but I just didn;t feel the connections at all! Too much of a slow burn for me without the reward at the end!

I struggled with this one, I just could not connect with the main characters! A little disappointing for me as fake dating and enemies to lovers are my favorite tropes!

This book was easy to read but wasn't my favourite rom-com.

Where it was well written and the story was good, i just found it predictable.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

I finally got around to reading this book and once I got into it I just gave it a go. Not so bad once I just put all of the characters in their places. . Posey still living at home and not really having a job is cut off from her father when she wants to go to Hawaii for a photo opportunity. Lucas breaks up with his fiance and then his partner has a heartache and is now thinking of selling their business. When the two meet at their reunion each are disappointed for different reasons and ends up away from everyone else. It really isn’t until days later that Posey comes to him with an idea of a fake marriage and how this could work for each of them. Lucas agrees even though he really does not agree with everything.
Once you get into fifty percent of the book you begin to see Posey’s character change even if it is slow at first. She begins to see what her so-called friends are really like except for Tara and the farther you get along you begin to see a change between her and her father. Towards the end was a surprise and is what really makes this a good book and not a cheesy story you actually get to see a change. A good book with good characters.

After reading the synopsis I really liked the sound of this, especially with it being enemies to lovers.

However, I just could not get into this one. I didn't care for the characters and sadly couldn't motivate myself to carry on reading.

Fingers crossed I enjoy any of her future books!

Can you fall in love with your childhood nemesis? Somebody who always messes up your careful plans? And somebody who never lets their guards down?

Needs must and after meeting again at a 10-year high school reunion Posy and Lucas start planning a fake wedding to obtain the money/the connections they need to move on with their lives without the other in it. Well, I can guarantee you - if Posy is there, things never turn out as planned.

I liked this hilarious whirlwind of a story, never a dull moment. Although the characters and the story could have been more realistic, it was an entertaining, light summer read. I enjoyed the energy and the drive of Posy and the care and deep love of Lucas. Drummond's writing is pure joy.
