You won’t want to put this one down! Twists and turns you won’t see coming.

Loved this new book by SE Lynes! She just never disappoints. This was a great story told with alternating POVs. It was exciting and fast paced.
Highly recommend

I was so excited to read this book, and I was very eager to get started and when I did, I could not stop reading, I love a good toxic friendship thriller and this one certainly didn’t disappoint! Pre-ordered it ages ago, and can’t wait to get a proper copy when it comes out :-)

This is the 2nd book I've read by this author. I must say I enjoyed this one as much as the other.

I love a good twist and this book definitely had it. I thought it was going one way and it went another. I thought I had everything figured out to be surprised by another twist. I will continue to read everything this author writes.

Maybe the best book I have read all year. The antagonist of the story is truly the stuff nightmares are made of… Equally the protagonist is somebody that’s easy to relate to… I highly recommend this book the story is great.

“It all starts with the watch”

Jane Preston has a good job, a loving husband, and a close group of friends, that is until Lexie Lane shows up.

For reasons unbeknownst to her, Lexie has been trying to drive a wedge between Jane and her best friend Sophie. Sophie and Lexie’s friendship grows, but they become particularly close when they find out they are both are expecting. Jane is happy for her friend but she can’t help also feeling jealous. She wants nothing more than to have a baby and after numerous failed attempts, she discovers she is unable to conceive.

It all comes to a head at Sophie and Lexie’s joint baby shower. Jane gets through the affair with some liquid courage, and after awhile excuses herself to the bathroom. She overhears Lexie in a heated conversation with her boyfriend, and that’s when she sees something impossible! Lexie isn’t pregnant!

Simultaneously, Jane’s husband Frankie is busy fixing bathrooms and getting himself into ridiculous trouble.

This leads you down a rabbit hole of “Omg, whattt?!”, events and plot twists that will keep you talking long after you’ve finished reading.

I had so much fun reading this book! Lexie is the girl you love to hate and she really brings it. I loved the premise and the book did not disappoint.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
