I love that this book is bilingual. I really liked the illustrations too, and it was a great storyline about potty training.

This educational potty training book is wonderful! It is written in catchy rhyme and includes two languages - English and Chinese! How unique and clever is that? Kids love potty words and antics so they will want to go back and read the book again and again just to have a giggle or two. The fun part is as they re-read the text they will be learning all about the art of potty training.

The words and antics of the adorable little panda cub, who is the star of the book, will resonate in kid's hearts. The book teaches little ones all they need to know about proper bathroom etiquette.

I like that the author includes some references to the COVID pandemic which I'm sure parents will spot and point out right away. I love the fact that Mom is very modern and hip as she interacts with her Zoom calls. Her patience and love towards her cub's efforts display a wonderful role model for moms everywhere who have their kids in "training mode". This would be a perfect gift to give at a baby shower. I highly endorse " Patty Panda Gets A Potty!

This is a cute story and I love that it's bilingual. While the text in Chinese was fun to read, the English rhyming felt forced and clunky. The illustrations are very vibrant and adorable.

This book is a good way to help little ones get ready to use the toilet. I love the multilingual aspect as well as the cute bears, this is a great one to grow with.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the advance copy.

This illustrated book for toddlers is unusual because it is bilingual (Chinese and English), introducing children gently to another language; it is culturally founded (Taiwanese) while simultaneously universal--potty training is a practice that every toddler undergoes and every parent endures; and its theme encourages reliance on the toddler herself to accomplish this new plateau in her own timing and state of readiness.
