Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

I loved the setting of this book, a coastal town on the Italian coast.

Marci’s godfather is on his honeymoon after he got married, which was unexpected news to Marci and her family. He has asked her to sort through the antiques and his personal items at his shop in Positano.

The family own a antiques business where she works with her brother, her mother us a silent partner. So it’s an obvious choice for her to go, as she’s not got her own family. .

Having been to Italy before on business, Marci knows what she will come across. Thinking that it’ll only take a few days to sort her godfathers shop, isn’t what she or Nico encounter.

I loved how Lucy made you want to be in Positano with Marci.

Nico and his family were so hospitable to Marci, but Marci was amazed that there were so many in his family.

Family is important in this story, thinking about what is best for everyone and it’s shown in the way characters think when making decisions.

Do you think about what you said you’d do and carry it through before thinking about yourself and what you want?

Marci is known to work through any issues she has and deciding how to tackle them and is more than happy to do this, but when she finds things from the past, it’s to be seen how she will face up to this.

Recommend this book.

A Beach Read
You can really feel the glorious sunshine, smell the amazing food and fall in love with the Italian way of life in this story that at it’s heart focuses on the closeness of family. Overall this was an enjoyable book although it was one you can pick up and put down without losing the thread as it was rather slow. At times the formatting was a bit of a problem, where it jumped from one situation to another double spacing was required, but that may just have been because I had an early copy.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I loved the premise of this book- there's a lot to endear it to readers. A family run business, an emphasis on antiques and one of the most romantic settings in the world. However, this was hard for me to get through and I actually stopped after the first 15% to take a break from reading because of some continuity problems I found with the text. We get a lot of scene skipping which is a great way to move the story ahead usually, but here I felt myself flipping backwards wondering "how did I miss an entire dinner" among other moments. This alone wasn't enough to alienate me as a reader but Lucy Coleman also wrote in an Italian accent which seemed very forced and almost caused me to stop reading entirely. It was a bit mocking and instead of adding to the flavor of the novel it was distracting in how blatant she was trying to be. "Eez" instead of he's was just really uncomfortable to read over and over. It also seemed that there were plot points left unresolved and the big secret is revealed in the epilogue and seems like a throw away moment that brings the novel full circle. I'm glad I finished the book but it is not something I would recommend or read again.

Refreshing escape to warmer climes...a feel good holiday read that's not too taxing.
A trip to Italy to sort her godfather's business..brings her together with Nico .a fiery Italian....A very enjoyable if not slightly predictable read. Having been to Positano I enjoyed the descriptive parts of the story..

Great read although at times a little predictable, however a great holiday read and if you are not able to go abroad great escapism.
Thoroughly enjoyed it well worth the read.

If you are looking for a literary escape to warmer climates then look no further than Finding Love in Positano. A gorgeous-sounding coastal town on the Italian coast.

Marci James goes there to help sort through her godfather's collection of art, antiques and personal belongings while he is on his honeymoon. The marriage was unexpected and seemingly out of character, but as Marci is the closest family member to him, and she is also the only single person, well it seems to be the most obvious solution. She already works in the family antique business with her brother, her mum is a silent partner.

So off she sets, she has been to Italy before for holidays, so she sort of knows what to expect. What she didn't bank of though was the scale of the task in front of her or Nico!

Once again the author has captured an amazing sounding place and transformed it on the pages of her latest book. The mix of family and how they work together is great, in the UK the family comes across as a bit more stand-offish, more reserved if you like. While the Italian family of Nico is loud, inclusive, extended and welcoming, and there are many of them. No wonder Marci feels a bit shell shocked when she first arrives.

Family is an important theme in this story, a sense of pride and doing what is best for everyone is something that a couple of the characters have to deal with. Should honour and commitment come before love? Discussing problems and working out alternatives is something that Marci seems more willing to do. But she also discovers some things from the past that only a select few people know. How they will react and what they will do is something that is tantalising for the reader. As is the romance side of the story.

The author always gets the romance balance right for me in her novels, not too steamy but gentle, wary and not always straightforward or predictable. This makes for a story that isn't all about romance and comes across as more believable.

Another excellent read and one for those who like a holiday style romance, family secrets and an all-around gorgeous contemporary fiction story. It is one I would definitely recommend.

An easy predictable love story.
Marci goes to Italy to help pack up her Godfathers antique shop while he is on honeymoon.
Nico the local guide helps her and sparks begin to fly very quickly.
A cosy romance but unbelievable in places but easy to read.

Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

When Marci James’ godfather Richard, calls to say that he has met the love of his life and would like her to pack up his antique shop, Marci can’t say no. Struggling with a broken relationship and wondering what her future holds, Marci heads to Positano, on the Amalfi coast of Italy. She is quickly embraced by the Romano family, who are close friends of her godfather. Soon she is spending all of her time with Nico Romano while she attempts to sort out Richard’s business. Yet the more time she spends in Italy, the more questions are left unanswered. She begins to wonder if there is more to Richard’s relationship with the Romano’s and whether her relationship with Nico, is more than just a passing holiday romance.
This is my first book by Lucy Coleman, and I really enjoy her ability to draw out the beauty of both the Italian scenery but also the lifestyle. Whilst I found Nico and Marci’s relationship very tender and real, I also enjoyed the relationships that Marci builds with Nico’s mother and some of his friends. I must admit that the family secret was not one that I saw coming – very clever! I look forward to reading more from this author and I quite pleased that I had this opportunity to read ‘Finding love in Positano’.

A lovely, evocative read.

I loved the way Marci blossomed during her time in Italy. The descriptions of Postatino and the food particularly were amazing.

This is an easy-read from Lucy Coleman; it's a slow burner, it took a long time for me to form attachment to the characters but it's a pleasant read which allows the reader to escape to Positano.

It's fairly formulaic but that doesn't mean it's not enjoyable! The story is easy to follow and the descriptions good. I enjoyed it has an epilogue to tell you what that characters are doing after the main story finishes.

Finding Love in Positano is a wonderful travelogue as well as a story. There was also a bit of mystery thrown in there. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Marci is extremely close to her Godfather, Richard, as is her mom and brother. But they talk and share what is occurring in their lives more often. Marci's family owns an antique auction business and Richard has an antique business in Positano, Italy. Richard suddenly makes a major change in his life and seeks out his Godchildren to request one of them help him close up his antique shop and ship everything back to the UK. It makes more sense for Marci to go since she travels more for the auction house, and she has spent more time in Italy on behalf of the business. Richard has described the work to be done as pretty simple but, when Marci gets to Positano, Richard's business is anything but simple, and the changes he has made in his life appear to be anything but simple and Marci is quite concerned.

Marci arrives in Positano to find that Richard has made a family there of the family that owns the Italian restaurant down the hill from his shop. Oddly enough, Nico and his family, treat Marci as if she is family and she is not familiar with them at all, which also concerns Marci. The entire situation has Marci questioning her relationship with Richard, what has caused Richard to change so drastically, and even looking more in-depth at her entire family's relationship with Richard.

As Marci spends more time with Nico and his family and exploring Positano, she starts to question more about her life and why Richard really wanted her to go to Positano to handle closing out his business. Positano is amazing. I only saw a very small part of it during a visit of only a few hours. I realized from reading Finding Love in Positano and mapping different parts of it while reading, that I had missed so much which warrants a much longer visit to that part of the world. It was great experiencing Italy through Marci's and local Italian's eyes. Remembering the beaches along the Amalfi Coast and the beautiful, blue water is great. What really stood out for me is how Lucy Coleman makes Positano another character and draws out the character development so well. The relationships between the characters and the development of the friendship between Nico and Marci were well-developed and draw the reader in, for example spending time with the family as they run the restaurant. If you read Lucy Coleman for the travel and characters then you will love this newest book, Finding Love in Positano. This wasn't the best book written by Lucy but I kept on reading and found that it was not a bad story after all. That of course is just my opinion, others will love it from the word go. This is the first time I have felt let down by this author but I am sure her next book will be up to parr with all her others. Sorry Lucy, this is just me. I am giving 4 stars

Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for this e ARC

Lucy Coleman writes superior chick lit and "Finding Love in Positano" is no exception. This is a wonderfully immersive story of Marci's trip to Positano to sort out her godfather's antiques business after he has departed suddenly on an extended honeymoon. The book is about friendships, family and love. Marci discovers a whole new "family" as she lives and works with the different generations of Romanos, and they help her.

Get lost in the Italian sunshine and get fit as you climb the many steps up and down to the beach (if only that were possible in your imagination!).

Thanks to Net Galley and the publishers for the opportunity to review this book.

I find it difficult to review this book. On the face of it Lucy Coleman is a super writer, but here I felt there were just too many people talking, at great length, and about not very much. I became impatient, wanted to tell them to hush up.
The story of Marci who goes to Positano to sort out her godfather's antique emporium, should have been lovely to read. She meets Nico and other interesting characters, but somehow I didnt connect to any of them. However, the descriptions of Positano, the food, the markets and the buildings, were very evocative. Just too much going on maybe.

Marci is asked by her Godfather, Richard, to go to Positano on the Amalfi coast of Italy to pack up his antique shop whilst he is on holiday with his new bride. She is due to stay for a couple of months, but is surprised by the amount of stock to be sorted. She is staying at the hotel of friends of Richard's, Luca and Celia and their son Nico is tasked to look after her whilst she is there.
The description of Positano is amazing and makes me wish I could visit, although I'm not so sure that I could handle all the steps now. The hot weather sounds so tempting as I'm reading this in the middle of a normal dreary British winter and I'd love to visit the restaurant and try some of the dishes so lovingly described.
In addition to the lovely scenery there is the developing relationship between Marci and Nico as, after all, this is a romance novel. With its twists and turns this is a book that I really enjoyed and can definitely recommend to those who want some escape.
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book.

I could not make it through this book.. The dialogue seemed more like exposition than conversation. There was so much exposition in both the dialogue and surrounding paragraphs that it felt like I was reading someone's description of the book in real-time..

I feel like I’ve just been on holiday to the Amalfi coast so descriptive are the sights of Positano with its huge number of steps. Marcia goes to Positano to sort out her godfathers antique business where she is welcomed warmly by the family running the local restaurant. I loved all the characters, Nico who has promised to show her around and Olivia who is a great help in packing the antiques for shipping as well as Luca and Nico’s mum Celia.

It is so easy to picture the antique shop with its cave, the busy restaurant and the beaches. Plus, the description of the local cuisine made me want to visit and enjoy the food while sat looking at the views. Another brilliant book by Lucy Coleman that fully deserves five stars

Marci has to go to Italy to clear out her Godfather's antique shop. Turning up in Positano it is obvious that the people there know more about her than the other way around. Keen to discover what has gone in her God-Father's life she sets to work but is soon distracted by Nico whose family she is staying with.
I enjoyed this book and found it easy-reading with some nice descriptions of the local area and dishes.
