Right when you think Ainsley and Peter couldn’t have anymore secrets. This book is shorter (about 5 hoursish). A bit of a slow buildup and then secrets just keep busting out! Can’t say too much without giving away too much!

4.5 Wow … can Kiersten Modglin books get any crazier. So far everything I have read from this author I have really enjoyed . This story is the second in this series and picks up right from where the first book left off. This book is full of twists and turns and keeps you asking what in the world can happen next. There is not to much I can say about the plot of this one without giving out spoilers but do yourself a favor and read these books . They are quick fast paced fun reads and I will continue to pick up anything I can from this author! I listened to the audiobook on this one and really enjoyed the narration it kept me engaged and was easy to follow. I would like to thank Netgalley and the publishers for a chance to read this book for an honest review.

The Amendment by Kiersten Modglin is the sequel to The Arrangement. If you read The Arrangement, you definitely want to pick up a copy of The Amendment. Oh my goodness! If you thought The Arrangement was quirky and full of twists and turns, you haven’t seen anything yet. Hang onto you chair because there is a chance that you might fall out. Whiplash is certainly a possibility. In short, make sure your medical insurance is paid for the month. If you are a Kiersten Modglin fan, you know exactly what I am talking about.

If you haven’t read The Arrangement yet, do that first! You need to know who you are dealing with. I enjoyed this book but, I have to tell you I didn’t see that ending coming!

This was my first chance to listen to an audio book by Kiersten Modglin. The narrators were ok for me. They were good and I would have been better off just listening. I've heard others read along with the narrators and that took something away from the story for me. I'll do one or the other next time!

If you love Psychological Suspense, you will love this book. Don’t forget to read The Arrangement first!

I tried to like this book. It was well-written. The characters were complicated. However, I had a hard time believing that a spouse would react as they did in this book. Due to personal experiences, I was unable to complete a novel with the subject matter that this one contained. This should not discourage anyone else from reading it.

The Amendment by Kiersten Modglin pulled me in from the very beginning. I was not expecting so many twists to come full circle! Thank you #NetGalley and #Dreamscape Media for allowing me to review this audiobook. I loved it! The author really has a knack for twists. The narrators, Sarah Mollo-Christensen and George Newbern were great and added to my enjoyment.

Peter and Ainsley had come to an arrangement in the first book of this series. Now, things are more complicated. They need to amend the agreement… things go a little haywire. This is a quick book and she leaves things open-ended again. I liked most of it, but toward the end it, I’m not sure. I think my biggest gripe is how he/they don’t ever seem to get caught doing anything.

So, I’ll give this one 4 out of 5 stars. It kept my interest and I wanted to know what was going to happen.

I loved The Arrangement and this one was just as good!! Kiersten has such a way of writing the best twists without you even knowing what’s going to happen. I love that even though it had been a while since I read the first one I was able to jump into this story and easily remember the characters and what had happened.

Take your average serial killer with a loving family, toss in a wife with trust issues (obviously), throw in some other seriously messed up people and you have yourselves quite the story. It’s like Dexter in a book! I loved it! It had the creep factor. It had some fun, lighthearted moments. And, well, it has a twist! My only problem with this book is that I didn’t realize it was the second book!!! I will be going back for the first in the series!! Thanks to NetGalley for the early read!

When the follow up story is just as crazy, just as shocking and just as much fun as the original book you know the author is the real deal. The Amendment by thriller queen writer Kiersten Modglin is the second book of The Arrangement novels.

The Arrangement audiobook was a five star review from me. It was shocking with true jaw dropping reveals that stunned me. I was more shocked in this sequel, The Amendment, that the twists kept coming with each chapter.

In case you haven't listened/read the first book I will try not to spoil anything. We find long time married couple Peter and Ainsley still together after the OMG reveal at the end of book one. Considering what they now know about each other they make the very interesting decision to see a couples therapist. Of course they can't be completely honest with her and their euphemism for their "issue" is just so wacky.

At the end of the chapter after their first meeting with the therapist my mouth just fell opened and I just yelled, "Oh No" and laughed hysterically. It was just so Kiersten Modglin!

Happily premiere narrators George Newbern and Sarah Mollo-Christensen are back perfectly portraying the couple that definitely needs some type of psychological care. Their ability at times to make this couple sound like normal people is a testament to their acting talents.

I know I haven't said much about the actual plot but as with any book by this masterful writer it is best to jump in and have your mind blown by the craziest psychological thriller ride.

This Is A Review Of The Audiobook.

This book is a sequel to The Arrangement and you should definitely read that one first because otherwise you'll be lost and the surprises in that one will be spoiled. As with The Arrangement, The Amendment alternates between Ainsley's and Peter's points of view.

I loved it and will read anything this author writes. Many thanks to Dreamscape Media, NetGalley, and the author for the great advance listen.

This book is very fast paced and you will want to devour in one sitting. There are secrets from the past that will change their lives forever!!

I listened to this an early audio copy of this twisty book and highly recommend!! Hoping for book 3!!

My review is skewed because the female narrator just wasn’t a fit for me. I feel like I can’t accurately review the writing or story itself because I just wanted it to be over.
This is a book that would be best (for someone like me) to read rather than listen to.

Don't read reviews of book 2 before picking up book 2! Must read these in order! If you loved book 1 then you need to pick up book 2. I do suggest going in blind but if you want a review here goes....

After finishing the Arrangement by Kiersten Modglin I immediately needed to dive into this book. We have such a unique family set up and we've learned Peter's secrets. Moreso we learned that Ainsley knows about his secrets and so basically our mind was blown. Enter book 2.

Where can Peter and Ainsley go from here. Well for one Peter's origination story is learned and better yet we get to meet the man (somewhat) that introduced him to his way of life. Can Peter ever stop lying to Ainsley. Know that we know she is a bit of a sleuth will she still know all his deepest secrets he tries to keep or how much does she know?
With the new amendment to the arrangement how will it all play out?

If you haven’t read or listened to The Arrangement first I would strongly suggest that you do to get to know Peter and Ainsley better. The narration is well done. They do such a good job narrating the book. Told in alternating point of views between Peter and Ainsley, it is a fast paced book. Twists are thrown in with a major twist at the end. 🌟🌟🌟🌟1/2 star rating. A definite must read/listen. Be prepared for a stop everything to finish type of book.

Very dark and twisted thriller, this is one of those books that thrusts you immediately into the middle of the story, and you kind of figure out the borders and edges as the story goes along. I quite enjoyed it.

KMod has done it again! The Arrangement was one of my favorite thrillers of all time, so when I heard a sequel was coming, it was better than Christmas morning.

The Amendment is just as twisty, dark, and suspenseful as the first book. I love this storyline. It was a bit slow in the beginning, to the point where I was wondering if this was going to be a case of Sequel Flop. But it picked up very quickly and then I was on that beautiful thriller rollercoaster. The cliffhanger at the end? So rude to do to me, but oh so good. Can't wait to see what's next for this couple.

When I finished this book, I was left shocked and breathless…then I immediately started giggling thinking to myself, how does KMod come up with these wicked ideas. It’s almost like I’m watching a Thriller Soap Opera and I can hear the background music playing…These are the Days of Peter and Ainsley.

Narrator phenomenal

Happy release day! Thank you for writing this. I’m speechless…..just speechless. How does she do it?? Her shock factor just gets better and better. KM did such a great job and just when I thought I’ve figured something out she brings a tornado twist. What a thrilling, very entertaining ride!
This was even better than book one. I know, I know. How can that be?? Well you’re just going to have to read it to find out.
KM takes the reader to the edge of morality and insanity forcing you to continue on, hoping and cringing the whole time that the bottoms not going to fall out! Or should it? You decide and be ready…It’s a crazy story.
And I want mention that I listened to this book on audio and it had the same great cast as before. George Newbern & Sarah Mollo-Christensen you guys did an awesome job.

Is it possible to like the sequel more? Apparently!! Kristin Modglin is fast becoming a favorite of mine. You would have to read The Arrangement prior to reading this story or you may get a bit lost. I enjoyed The Arrangement but holy cow, The Amendment was amazing. The secrets have been revealed, now what do Peter and Ainsley do about them? Do they trust each other enough to make this work?
I really enjoyed the twists and turns of this story. It was a fast listen that I didn’t want to stop. The narrators were amazing and made the story even better.

This is book two in Ms. Modglin's 'The Arrangement' novels. We once again get to take a glimpse of Ainsely (love her name!) and Peter's, well, shall I say, unique marriage. While this is a standalone novel, it's quite fun to know how it all started in 'The Arrangement.' I don't want to give away any spoilers, as the publisher's summary doesn't really give details, but let's just say that Ainsley does her best to appease Peter's urges and desires, but it ultimately ends up as a huge cluster...

This is a fun, wild ride and I really enjoyed it. I think that there will likely be another in the series and I cannot wait to listen to that one as well! The thing that I love about Kristen Modglin is that she always has the most unique stories and I'm not joking when I saw that not a single one is ever the same! I mean, they're all so wildly different and I love her for that. George Newbern & Sarah Mollo-Christensen both did a great job narrating this novel and were completely believable and enjoyable as Ainsley and Peter. Definitely, a trio that works!
